Cons: Absolutely nothing!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This has to be the score of 10 against which all others are measured. The welcome, the facilities, the thoughtful touches, the breakfast are all absolutely first class. We have stayed in many places but BandB Douce is the very top of the tree. We arrived on a cycling tour so the first thing Fred offered was to drive us in to town either to a restaurant or to a supermarket. As the facilities included a full kitchen I chose to accept the offer of a lift to the supermarket, after we had showered and made use of the excellent swimming pool. The rooms and bathroom are extremely comfortable and all done to a very high standard. Additional touches like external mosquito nets over the window and electric shutters make this stand out from others. The bed was really comfy and we slept well. Breakfast, served by Fred and accompanied by an enjoyable chat with David, was impressive. Croissants, baguette, coffee, tea, ham, cheeses, jams, yogurt etc. Knowing that we were cycling along the canal that day, Fred was even thoughtful enough to provide us with extra food to make sandwiches for our lunch, and the foil to wrap them. Such thoughtfulness makes this place stand head and shoulders above most accommodations. I can not think of any way it could be improved. Thank you Fred and David.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: M. and Mme Gaillard were exceptionally kind, welcoming and flexible. It was a pleasure to stay at their quiet home in the countryside but only 4km from a small town and not far from Miossac where the abbey is outstanding, worth a large detour.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place offers a warm welcome, a lot of space to use, an excellent internet connection and everything very clean.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This property belongs to a couple who are renting their spare rooms on booking.com and airbnb. Good to have a bedroom, bathroom, toilet and sitting area separate from the owners. They are a very friendly couple although speak minimal English, they took their dinner and breakfast with us. They also have some pets.
Cons: The only problem was that they did not receive/see the booking notification before we arrived so were not expecting us. I expect they do not see many tourists in January!

Pros: Moissac isn’t large, and the location of this hotel is easy walking distance to visit the abbey, cloisters, market, river and canal. The hotel was very comfortable, and a modern refurbishment. Don’t judge it from the street side! We were delighted to be upgraded to a lovely room overlooking the garden which was very quiet. We had great weather so enjoyed time in the pool and garden too. Breakfast was excellent - lots to choose from and set us up for the rest of the day.
Cons: Small things.... Wifi in communal areas but not in the room. Shower attachment only at waist height (?!)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were large and comfortable, with excellent bathrooms, the views from every room amazing, staff very helpful, the breakfast great, in fact it's just an amazing hotel, with a real sense of history. Even an underground room for our bicycles!
Cons: Nothing could have been better
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel building is special and beautiful inside and outside, in a good location next to the river.
Cons: We asked specifically before our stay for a view to the river. We got a reply that all rooms are viewing the river. We got room 110. However, room 110 does not really have a view. Only from a certain specific angle in the room. Otherwise, the view is basically to the riverbank and to the parking. The basic price does not include breakfast, and breakfast is quite expensive. There is a pool table in the hotel, but it is practically unusable because the stick is broken and the table is too close to the wall.
4.3 Okay
Pros: we didn't have breakfast
Cons: after booking this hotel we received 28 emails in 24hr all in French saying something about the restaurant. The room was very sparce , a small block of wood acting as a bedside table. The telephone did not work and despite trying to ring reception twice no body bothered to find out if we needed assistance. There was no information in the room for the WiFi details. We booked into the restaurant but had to eat outside , we would have preferred to eat in that should have stopped the constant bugs and the ants climbing up the table legs! l chose Turbot as a main course it was horrid very fatty about 30grams of fish the rest bones! when they came to clear the plate it was obvious l had eaten very little . l was told that was turbot , as if l hadn't eaten it before just dreadful. l was given 10 euro off the price but given it was 24 euros they should have refunded the lot.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: View from the room.
Cons: Disco music on the terrace. Slow check in. Only one receptionist who was also answering the phone.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the old mill -such character. Pity the restaurant was not open on the Sunday night we were there . What a wonderful setting.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Renovated rooms all very clean and with a good restaurant on the hotel
Cons: No swimming pool! :)
