Friendly staff, leisure facilities and value for money. None.
Very good owner , near the spa eurotherme and also near the village centre with possibilities to eat typical Austrian food- can recommend typical Austrian pub called Hametner Gasthof just about 7 minutes by walk nearby in the vicinity.
good location, right next to the big park and close to the city center; very nice golf course only 5 minutes by car from the hotel; different running (walking) tracks in the park not only for beginners, but also for advanced runners breakfast was limited for 4stars hotel
Good location, clean rooms, nice atmosphere Price/quality bad - hotel way to expensive for quality offered. Rooms completely outdated (classic style doesn't mean not modernizing for 30 years!), old bathrooms and facilities
Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful room
Great Location. Good attentive staff. Located right in the center of the altstadt.
Excellent location, kind and helpfull staff, good restaurant
very nice room, excellent restaurant and very good breakfast room's windows were to downtown which was very loud on a friday night. (partyzone); the hotel offers no spa or wellness feature at all. So I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic journey.
Everything. It's position was excellent, the staff could not have been friendlier, our rooms were well well above the hotels star rating and the free use of the hotel garage meant there was no need to look for parking. All in all it was probably the best hotel of its kind I have ever stayed in, and the next time I am within 100 kilometers I will divert my journey to use it again. Interestingly the town of Styer itself is well worth the visit. Certain guides describe it as an industrial town. Coming from England we expect industrial towns to be dirty, smelly, smokey places full of morons. Nothing could be further from the truth with Styer or its people. The Old Town centre is late medevil, the buildings wonderful and the character of the town is just great. All this and a trully marvelous hotel really makes the trip worthwhile. Not a single thing.
Excellent location in center of old city, Steyr. The hotel is located in an historic building with tasefully decorated rooms. The establishment radiates quality and care. The breakfast is pure pleasure, and we truly enjoyed eating in Mader's restaurant.
the front lady didn't tell us to bring room key. The door of the hotel was closed when we came back from Opera. The interphone of the hotel did not work well and we had to wait for 30 minutes until the hotel man came and open the door.
The hotel is very good situated in the center of Steyr. The rooms are clean and cosy, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. In general a excellent, historic hotel!
Greatest breakfast - not so much for quantity as for quality: great choice of cheese. And the room was at least 80 sqm, really, larger than the average flat in our city! Too many stairs and a little bit too many corridors, but that's the way it goes in medieval architecture...
Beautiful family-run hotel accommodation. The location of the hotel offers very nice surroundings. Hotel is very quite and you can just erlax and use hotel's welness. An ideal choice!
New hotel only 2 years old. Modern clean well designed rooms, only 4 minute drive to town centre, our room overlooked some old houses and a river with the main city in the distance. When Church service is on we had to park away from hotel, but staff pick up car the next day with 10 minutes notice.
very nice location, beautiful wellness area, good kitchen, friendly staff Nothing
Great staff and location
One of the best hotels I have ever visited as a business traveler. Very helpfull staff, great location, free internet and good food. Need no more. No remarks.
'to' kind to be true, but superb hotel
Good place for relaxing and nice breakfast. The free parking and Wifi also is advantage.
Good accommodation good food nice staff Breakfast very limited choice, no real continental breakfast no croissants was available etc, just had scrambled eggs and very fatty bacon - not pleasant but coffee nice though.
The quiet and the view. It is a very good centre for a stay in Austria in easy reach of the Danube, Salzburg the lovely Austrian countryside even Viena is not too far away. We combined some business with a few days holiday for which it was perfect. Very good for business. No lounge or leisure facility. No in room mini bar or facility to make a simple hot drink as we are used to in the UK. Not suitable for kids for which there were no facilities at all. Very modern and businesslike rather than homely. Food OK if not exceptional.
Very good service and peaceful ambience.
It was in the center of the city. The access to the hotel and the lack of dining facilities.
The rooms were very nice & comfortable The entrance was confusing and difficult to unload luggage. Parking is not by the hotel
The location is excellent. The old city centre is is really near. The room was nice. The hotel looks good from the street but from inside the entrance and corridors look a bit like an old shopping mall or so. However, the room we stayed in was nice and in line with the external apearance of the hotel. According to the information given, there is a parking place 'at the site' but it is not actually true. The hotel's own parking place is under a bridge some hundreds of meters away. The parking place was dark and dirty but since it is in Austria, I don't think it is dangerous in any way. Our stay was okay but the price was perhaps too high for this stay, saying this based on our numerous experiences in many other places in the world.
This is one of the worset resort i have seen, food was not good as well as location and hotel building
The staff were excellent. The room was large and airy. The bathroom facilities were perfect and we had a balcony even though it looked out onto a brick wall. We chose this hotel because it said it had disabled facilites. You could not access this hotel other than by steps to the front door. We could not get to the outdoor swimming pool or gardens, too many steps, and the hotel is like a labyrinth. It has been extended extended and extended. There were no tea and coffee making facilities. No air con.
Stunning views from the breakfast room, fine restaurant. Poor selection at breakfast for 4 stars and the price given. No eggs, no bacon, etc. Cheap sliced sausages, only one type of (cheap) ham. Very limited free parking.
Very friendly and attentive staff. A very good resturaunt with a great view. I didn't think it was quite up to being a 4 star hotel. Some of the hotel needed to be refreashed a little. That said, I would still stay there again.
The location is excellent, as it overlooks the confluence of the two rivers and has a wonderful view over both and the charming town of Steyr. It is therefore essential to book a room with a river view. The hotel has a small but fine sauna, hamman, jacuzzi spa ideal. The breakfast is good. But the best thing was the excellent staff in reception who enquired about availability of tickets for an opera performance of the Steyr festival and even called to my mobile while i was already out of the hotel to inform me of a change of venue so that I could go straight there to buy the tickets. It was an extra touch of service which we very much appreciated.
Quite hotel and quite guests counryside type environment Excellent approach to wellness cleanliness Happy staff Excellent breakfast choices That I could not stay longer...
Beautiful location in a park with wellness facilities. Food is absolutely lovely and breakfast choice was vast. A luxury hotel at half price. I was amazed!
very professional staff and the rooms grounds are beautiful
Easy to go to center town, and easy to park nearby. Also Hotel admission possible until 11:00PM
clean, near to city-centre, friendly und flexible staff got room near parking space although many other rooms were available
