Very new rooms, nice area, nice parking. Possible to check in when after the opening hours. Mail 'em. Elevator didn't work, Airco didn't work, No information about the area or activity's
Modern ,spacious , clean ,easy to find , view of the mountains
Room spotless and well equiped. Staff extremely helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
Good base for walking in the mountains and eating in different restaurants every night
went on walks in the mountains and used different restaurants in town each night
The studio was just right to stay two nights and make some trips in the mountains. The small kitchwen facility allows preparation of a meal what is very helpfull for young children traveling.
Thanks for nice Time
Newly-built apartment, appears to be student accommodation but very quiet, all mod cons provided.
Staff member gave helpful directions about walking route into centre of town. Free parking Apppearance of hotel more like an apartment block; very plain
Accomodation was relatively quiet and at discount price of 200 euros for 7 nights was good value for money for a solo traveller. Ensuite facilities were small but functional and of reasonable quality. These facilities could possibly have been larger.
Swimming pool open all day long Narrow car park
The atmosphere no
A beautiful facility in a magnificent setting. The staff was unfailingly courteous and helpful.
Everything (minibar would be ++)
I found the hotel friendly, humerous and helpful. Although the restaurant was not open I was provided with a lovely snack especially welcome as I had a long day getting there
The view, the lovely breakfast on the terrasse, the friendly staff, the beautiful room and fresh air - and the sweet little black dog!
Madame thomas was a top hostess, the room was very chic, bed very comfortable, great view Air con would have been a plus
Cas'anna Lidia is a lovely place in the mountains. We liked our room and bathroom very much! The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Check out the pizzabistro on the corner of the street.
Spectacular location and stylish hotel, the service could not have been more helpful. Room very comfortable.
very romantic place set in a small village, our room was beautiful, spacious, overlooking the pool and garden, very generous sweet breakfast, big parking space and a wonderful little water spring (water tasted so good)
Amazing design and wonderful hostesses and best massages...
A nice spacious room, a lovely breakfast, a fabulous view and very kind staff. The location is quite isolated.
Extremely nicely decorated new hotel (modern, but still warm and home-like) in a romantic environment. Clean and good beds and shower. The breakfast with a fixed assortment of bread, jam and cheeses and daily changing fresh juice, fruit and sweetmeats and the way it was served were gorgeous. Personnel and owner were friendly, caring and polite. It didn't feel like a hotel at all, but rather like an unexpectedly inherited villa. Good base for making walks and visiting the Balagne/Route des artisans. By car (you need one!) it is about 30mins to Ile Rousse or 40mins to Calvi. After we left, we felt homesick for this hotel.
The kindest staffs and a luxurious hotel in the small mountain village. But you should have car and take 20 min to get there. No
This is a new "Chambre d'Hote" with only five rooms. Everything is done in good taste and the views from the bedrooms across the valley are lovely. The lady proprietor is absolutely charming and very helpful. Breakfast on the terrace, taking in the view, was delightful. Calvi is about half an hour away by car, otherwise there are a couple of places to eat in the village of Felicito or about 10 minutes' drive away in nearby villages. We would definitely stay here again, given the opportunity.
Although the place seems a little strange at first, it is quite conforable and good. The room was spacious and the location of the hotel is very good. Small warderobe, small sheets.
Location Absence of lift; entrance to the building where the hotel is located (at the first floor) is a bit neglected
Excellent location and good value. Free Wi-Fi and modern, clean rooms. Breakfast is located in the restaurant downstairs. Our a/c didn't work, but there was a fan. The restaurant where breakfast is served is not up to the standard of the hotel.
The twin room was modern, spacious, nice and the outside street noice was kept out very well. The shower was great. The outside and entrance of the hotel are old and dark.
The hotel is in the centre of cote and very handy for visiting the sites of corte and its surroundings. The room was well appointed and clean. The breakfast was good and has to be taken at the adjoing bar/cafe. There is no car parking at the hotel and you eother have tp park in a public car park or find street parking. The hotel staff were helpful in identifying this.
Very nice and clean "inside" garden. The rooms and studios are surrounding this place and we had a view on it. Didn't charge us extra bed while we had - by mistake - ordered for three persons (and we were only 2). Standard no towels (we had to pay 3 ? per day for 4 towels) + problems with payment by Creditcard Environment outside the hotel looks quit messy.
when we came the staff was away (10pm), but left the keys in the room, we got the message, but it took some time to figure the details (where to go) because we don't speak french.
nice little appartments, private parking, friendly staff, recommendable
Having given the comments below, the price is low, so we rate it OK The hotel was overbooked and we were diverted into an apartment some 500 meters further away beautifully located, closer to ile rousse. The beds are not comfortable, a plastic cover is used to protect the matress. Also the beds were firm enough for us. This location did not have any internet service, as was promised in Les Alizes itself.
Room is located in a secluded landed property area with a view. Room was located far from the hotel reception. You have to drive a few minutes to get to it. Towels are not provided. You have to pay 4 euros for a bath and hand towel set.
Convenient arrangement of hotel for travel across Corsica no
clean, good staff and nice rooms with good beds no
We stayed only one night on our way back to the airport Unfortunately there was no provision of coffe or tea and we had to leave very early am. We were not carrying tea/ coffee/milk etc with us so were a bit stuck!
Superb refurbished old house, now modern 4 star hotel. All suites. Excellent comfort and service. Impeccable furnishings. Outstandingly good reception staff. Unfortunately, no private parking.
Design hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast climatisation was not working, repaired the departure day. Room upgraded to a junior suite to compensate.
Everything!!!! it was amazing. The layout was perfect. The location was even more perfect. The staff were great. Nothing at all!
Friendly and informativ hotel staff. ´Food extremly good. Beds is perhaps not long enough for tall people. Very nice lounge with excdellent view.
The location is very central. The rooms are very small so staying anymore than a few nights would be claustrophobic. Got charged 5 euros for a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice where most of it was filled with ice.
personnel very attentive and helpful the hotel was really good to be a 3 star, but the room was small and extremely expensive-we paid 147 euros per night without breakfast-. At the same time I have to admit that this rate is consistent with the crazy high season prices in Corsica, and probably the hotel in terms of location and design was worth this amount.
OceanView, Design of Suit Room, Outside Bath, Big TV
Walked in to the cocktail bar at 10pm to be greeted like an old friend and given the key to a room that was smarter than many 5*s I've stayed in. Perfect location, with the old town and its restaurants and the beach both within a minute's walk. Apparently several years since refurbishment but it looks like just a few weeks. Couldn't be described as a 'great' hotel but thoroughly pleasant, smart, cool. A good place to be. No parking but arrive outside 10-6 and get a free space three minutes away for the duration. The cheapest rooms are about as small as they could be, we'll try to get a sea-view one next time (and there will be a next time!)
the view from the balcony and the proximity to the beach and the town
L'Escale Cote Sud is more like a boutique hotel. Our room was on the third floor beside the lift and had several unusual features - for example the bath was in the corner of the bedroom. This may seem odd but it worked fine for us. The room had a small and very nice balcony overlooking the street below. Cleaning was very good. We did not try the breakfast. The location was great, right in the centre of town. There was free parking five minutes walk away between the marie and the railway station, though this could get busy. The room was expensive by our standards, but it was the best value available in Ile Rousse for that week near high season.
Nice design, good location by the beach, nice staff, nice bar with very good ice-cream. Expensive bar, no mini-bar, small rooms.
We have travelled extensively over the years & thought we had stayed in some of the best hotels, this visit outstripped any previous overnight stay, it was superb. No bad points at all
