Pros: Carol was super friendly and made a lovely cooked breakfast -- which included a trip to IGA at 7am to buy groceries. She also provided lots of interesting insights into Dungog, its history, tourism, local intrigue and more, a well as practical tips on where to go for dinner. Plus as a super bonus, she let us use the shower in the evening after we'd checked out, which was great after a long day hiking.
Pros: Fantastic host happy to share information and assisted beyond expectation. Breakfast was fantastic and great choice. Comfortable bed and all amenities provided.
Cons: Nothing to mention here
Pros: The breakfast was lovely, the host was very accommodating. The cottage was very cool when we got there on a 46 degree day. I have no complaints at all.
Cons: I have not one single complaint
Pros: The room was cozy, warm and the breakfast was excellent. The hospitality was classic country style. Friendly and welcoming.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent - property in nice street a little further from the railway station than what I expected.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like about the property or the host - it was delightful to stay in such a lovely place.
Pros: Host was fantastic- Carol is a great cook and lovely to talk to
Pros: Excellent everything.
Cons: Confusion regarding having an ensuite
Pros: Little touches.....indicates incremental improvements done according to updates from surveys!
Cons: Missed having an ensuite.....oh well.
Pros: Lovely breakfast and friendly host
Cons: It would help to have instructions on DVD player. Managed to stuff it up!

Pros: Room needs black out drapes due to street lighting and a jug of water in the room
Cons: Only 1 pillow each
Pros: Seamless check in. Beautiful country pub feel. Super quiet
Pros: Close to everything.
Cons: The pub not open on Monday and Tuesday which we were not aware of when booking.
Pros: Venue was clean and tidy and staff were very nice. Great place to stop over!
Pros: Very cheep but comfortable, clean and nice.
Pros: I loved this classic little pub. I stayed here on the weekend with a group of cycling friends. The rooms were basic but comfortable and the shared bathrooms were more than adequate. Sophie even organised a safe space for our bikes which was very much appreciated. I had booked dinner for 6.30 pm but had underestimated how hungry 24 cyclists would be after cycling from Newcastle that morning. The chef and staff were incredibly accommodating and didn't bat an eyelid. Within less than an hour all 24 of us had been served. The food was great and servings were very generous. The desserts were superb. Will definitely come again. Thanks again Sophie.
Pros: Staff was friendly, location was super convenient. Rooms were clean. There is a shared fridge however no microwave. You can go down to the pub for dinner, however not open on Tuesdays.
Cons: Microwave facility would have been convenient :)
Pros: Staff, value for money, close to hospital
Cons: Men's bathroom needs an update, radiator didn't really heat room, very noisey early trucks around 4am
Pros: `The staff member who booked us in and took care of us for the evening couldn't have been more helpful or kind : I was sick when I came to the pub and needed to go straight to bed. We actually had to stop overnight because I was so ill. This lovely woman went above and beyond in terms of customer service and made us feel like we were at home which is exactly what you need in that condition. I couldn't recommend this place more.
Cons: I wish there had been a few toiletries provided as we needed them, not having planned to stay we had nothing with us.
Pros: Friendly hotel atmosphere & excellent staff services
Cons: Bathroom had not been cleaned after previous guest. Waste bin was full, floor not clean & toilet needed cleaning.
When you stay at Riverwood Downs Mountain Valley Resort in Monkerai, you'll be 13 minutes by car from Barrington Tops National Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location and staff were excellent
Cons: Boutique cabin was severely out dated, bed was hard as a rock the location is excellent, but the little things add up it's definitely not worth $200 per night, restaurant was very over priced, $14 for a tea and scones.... meals average at $30 worth the trip into gloucester for a better meal, all in all not overly disappointed but RWD is not what it is advertised and feel that the 200 per night they are taking in should be used to update facilities...maybe then they could justify charging that much a night.
Pros: It was nice an relaxing
Cons: There was one staff what was very rude
Pros: We stayed in the Bunkhouse for a music festival attended by a large number of people. Good, cheap accommodation for myself and the dog.
Cons: Old AC
Pros: People were great and friendly and apologetic when needed. Our booking was stuffed up by booking.com but they let us stay half price which was outstanding. Still it could have been a disaster if they were full. Very impressed with the staff. Outstanding value for money. Loved the wool shed.
Cons: Dinner at the restaurant rather overpriced and a bit of a strange mix (thai curry with paddadoms) Service was slow. Breakfast was overpiced and unimaginative. I'm a vegetarian would be best to have more options rather than minus meat default position.could have had a space to hang outcfor kids. More games or perhaps dedicated kids room. Pony ride for kids just up the lane and back was disappointing.
Pros: Food was great.
Cons: Breakfast a little pricey for coffee and cerial.

Pros: Quiet and beautiful area and the hotel was clean and the staff were wonderful! Great family place.
Pros: Old school and charming. Comfortable bed Friendly host Quiet location Microwave always a plus
Cons: A little dated Bathroom could do with a refurbishment But a good old fashioned country town motel
Pros: I Didnt have the breakfast as I had to get away early. Location was very convenient and walking distance to everything you need. Staff were very helpful and upgraded me to a larger bed. Parking was convenitent.
Cons: The property was fina and definently good value for money however it was quite cold in the room and there wasnt really adiquetley warm bedding. I would like
Pros: Clean facilities. Friendly staff.
Cons: Very noisy water pipes generated a large amount of high pitched sound (almost like a dentist drill). This meant that the neighboring room's shower caused a lot (and I really mean a lot) of high pitched whistling noise in our room (Room 11). Could have been better facilities for water. The only tap was the in the bathroom sink, however the provided jug (kettle) did not fit under that tap so it was very difficult to fill.
Pros: Centrally located to CBD
Pros: On the main street, so handy to everything.
Cons: Very tight for parking. Expect to hear everything going on around you.
Pros: Location, comfortable
Pros: There was plenty or room for our family of 4. Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly. Room was neat and tidy. Great place for a night stay in a country town.
Pros: Great location, quiet, clean, modern and friendly staff
