friendly service no
Super old building, run by charming friendly couple. Coped well with food allergy of one of party. Good breakfast.Fabulous restaurant, but expensive for that part of Italy. You have to take the taster menu - around 50 euros per head. Outside grounds, not a picturesque environment. No bar in hotel.
The website stated that the villa would do evening meals in the restaurant-this is NOT CORRECT as the owner stopped this last year. The owners were helpful in other matters. As above and no air conditioning.
The historical building included many of the original furnishings and the Breakfast included a wide variety of homemade preserves and pastries. We had to wait around an hour for someone to come and let us into the facility and were granted a discount on the room rate by way of apology.
Gorgeous location, beautifully restored country house, with a chapel and nice gardens on the premises. We stayed in the restored stable, which with extremely well done. Also the rate was extremely good value for the money
Not at all commercial, very much a place to 'chill out' and stay within the beautiful grounds and lounge around the pool or well placed for experiencing the historical/culture, cuisine, coast, wine and shopping in Ascoli Piceno or the various outlet centres. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Other than having to leave and go home, some road noise from the Autostrada traffic which wouldn't put off going back. A truly lovely place.
This is a beautiful hotel, based around a mansion house with lovely gardens, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the room we had is the best we have ever stayed in!
I liked everything. The rooms and grounds were excellent and the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and experienced. nothing
An excellent stay. The hotel is extremely well presented (truly amazing gardens, rooms and views of the mountains) and the staff always very helpful. It's great value for money - my only surprise was that there didn't seem to be that many other guests (not that I'm complaining about that)! The hotel takes some travelling to get to but it is very much worth it - a hidden gem away from the usual tourist areas.
really welcoming and the suite with a little kithen and sitting area would make this a brilliant place as a base to explore central Italy. Pool was beautiful as was the house and gardenNo evening meal choices but you can have what the family eat on the evening of your stay - I think expensive for what we got though. no
