10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good facilities, friendly staff, great breakfast, good location (with off road parking!). More than just a bedroom but a suite.
Cons: This is really splitting hairs plus a half: I would have liked mugs rather than the more gentile smaller tea cup and saucers for our "room made" coffee (which is plenty full). It's the only less than "perfect" thing I can think of!!
7.9 Good
Pros: High level hospitality from the host coupled with comfort and practicality of the site.
Cons: Visit was too short
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for visiting Monacute House (National Trust) - after the property closed we went to Carents House (a minute away) - after we booked in, we sat outside on our patio in the sunshine and drank a longed for cup of tea. We decided to use the self catering facilities (although there are pubs in the beautiful village). We walked up to the Co-op and found plenty of ingredients for a "tapas" style dinner, with wine of course. The crockery and cutlery at Carents House are of a high standard (and a microwave if you want it) - and we had a very cosy evening in. We slept very well in the enormous bed, and much enjoyed our delicious and huge breakfast. Thank you Diana !!

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Not a room, but a one bedroom apartment ! Everything you could imagine was supplied. The location is in a very pretty village, surrounded by National Trust properties and the views are lovely. The breakfast is something else ! It's huge. I never thought I would ever have to ask for LESS ! This breakfast would set you up until the evening - forget lunch, you won't have room. Such a kind and extremely thoughtful landlady. One of those one in a million experiences.
Cons: Absolutely nothing, and I've really given it some thought. Yes, the décor and furniture is a bit 'Granny', but everything is absolutely spotlessly clean.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb location in beautiful village. Great breakfast, lovely host.
Cons: Could have done with a winning lottery ticket.

Pros: Huge room with a sofa which was very welcome. It’s was nice to be able to sit comfortably to watch TV instead of perching on a bed. Huge shower with very good shower head. There is no restaurant just a breakfast room with a good selection of continental items and a small hot selection with eggs cooked to order. There is a great little pub round the corner called the Green Room for a good evening meal and they are very welcoming.
Cons: Tiny car park but there were spaces and if not there are other options very close by. Our sat nav had trouble locating it as there were one way streets in the way!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location, nice decor
7.1 Good
Pros: nice room, comfy bed, a bit loud as windows are to the street where the pub is. secure parking is a plus.

Pros: Great spot for exploring the Somerset area. Friendly staff, nice restaurant, sparkling rooms. We stayed in a very cute cottage with all the necessary amenities.
Cons: Breakfast was too basic and a bit disappointing especially after having had such a nice dinner there before. The cottage was very nice but the kitchen was obviously designed by a man. This is the second time we have stayed and have always eaten in the restaurant for both our evening meal and breakfast, the food is faultless with the evening menu changed daily using local produce. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Yeovil, the staff are always happy to help and the property benefits from a private car park although limited with the number of spaces, we have always managed to park in here.

7.1 Good
Pros: Great location, pleasant welcome, good wine.
Cons: Food was very plain; the kitchen staff need to know the difference between blue and medium rare. The steak was still mooing. The menu is enormous which, for a place this size, is always a real concern. Decor is a bit shabby but the room was pleasant enough. I was woken by a phonecall from the landlord at 23:15 asking where I was and that they could only hold the room for another 15 minutes. As I'd checked in at 17:00 this was more than annoying. He mentioned it the next morning but with no word of an apology. Not exactly brilliant hospitality or organisation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service, very clean and comfortable, fantastic menu and good food. Very friendly.
Cons: All was good.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location in the pretty little village and free parking The staff in attendance during my stay were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: It is tired and untidy. Unless I’d called in advance to make an alteration to my booking, I was not made aware that the kitchen was closed on a Monday night, and the lady I spoke to indicated that she knew there was no notification of this on the website. Fortunately there is a decent pub a short walk away. Poor value for money especially as the rate is per person and nor per room as most ‘chain’ hotels are.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Host was friendly enough and the property had the key things we were looking for - en-suite and parking.
