Pros: This far exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were wonderful, the food was delicious, and the scenery delightful. We picked this for a quiet night on a long journey, but it was so good that we will go out of our way next year just to enjoy this lovely experience once more - but next time we'll stay a little longer.
Pros: View and situation. Helpful owner and wife o
Pros: Very charming hosts
Pros: A lovely friendly hotel. Very helpful staff, couldn’t do enough for us.
Cons: I liked it all, nothing to dislike.
Pros: The location, the quietness, the staff , the food... everything in general.
Pros: Nice view from our terrace, very quiet place.Good restaurant.
Cons: The hotel needs some renovations, the terrace is in a very bed shape.

Pros: buffet breakfast satisfied and good served ,
Cons: not applicable / just one night
Pros: Location stunning...get a river view room!!
Cons: Staff could be a bit warmer but they were ok
Pros: The indoor swimming pool+spa (included in the price) is very pleasant, with a superb view of the surrounding landscape.
Cons: The shower is nice and modern, but it lacks a water barrier, so you have to take extreme care not to flood the bathroom and beyond. The meals in the hotel's restaurant are a little basic,
Pros: The hotel is being renovated and the new room was excellent and very comfortable. They did a good job to remove or minimise the disruption from the necessary work. A great hotel in a brilliant location
Cons: The quality of the food was below average. The dinner was little better than that available from a cheep cafe and breakfast was not fresh or good quality
Pros: Location. Nice bed, lovely views
Cons: The more expensive of the hotels in Montanejos , and still no big difference to the other who also had an outside terrace for lesser price
Pros: Location is great: a short walk to the river via car park (free). Spacious room, with very good bathroom, walk in shower. Very good double room rate, half board under 80. Breakfast choices varied, although no hot food. Dinner also good for the price: 5 options for each course. Ice water and fresh bread on table, prompt and efficient service. Excellent "River Club" bar/restaurant which was great for lunch and drinks by the riverside.
Cons: I suppose the main restaurant was rather institutional: not the place for a relaxed, romantic meal, but the food and service were fine.
Pros: Nice view from room
Cons: Parking in main road. Dreadful 20 kms of rubbish road to access ( probably sat nav fault rather than hotels !
Pros: River club
Pros: Very friendly staff, modern and clean room and comfy beds. Great landscape river view. Nice large rain showers and a good breakfast for a resonable price.
Cons: We wernt able to proberly close the shower doors which caused a pretty wet floor we needed to dry up.
Pros: The food at lunch and dinner was excellent but we found breakfast rather disappointing. The pool was good but small for the amount of people wishing to use it and you almost had to queue (certainly wait) to use the Jacuzzi.
Cons: Some staff would benefit from extra training in customer care and service. Although we included breakfast in the booking we were informed it wasn't. Fortunately I had printed out the booking form. In the restaurant we again had to differ with their information. They could not explain, even in Spanish which I understand, what the AD or AL meant on our dining card which had been marked incorrectly.

Pros: We spent 4 days at the Hotel and we could not complain about anything! The food, the service, the room, and so on was very good. In conclusion, better than expected.
Pros: Damage to wood in wardrobe
Cons: Location Food Staff
Pros: Nice view and the location
Cons: The staff only spoke Spanish, not even one word English! You had to book the Spa facility in advance, it was fully booked when we arrived.
Pros: The spa is really nice. We had a room with a terrace which was also really appreciated. The staff is gentle and serviceable.
Cons: The food is OK at best. Breakfast is simple. The juices are not good, the coffee is. Yoghurts are simple (Danone). Lunch and dinner are equal quality. The food is OK but not exciting. There is 1 lift and because of the old people it is always occupied. It is also really slow. The bathroom is oké but really small and a bathtub, which could be replaced by a shower. The population of this hotel is 65+. Be aware of that.
Pros: Good spa & massage, lovely staff and good info about the surroundings.
Cons: Poor breakfast, almost nothing healthy available, only bread, pastry and fried food (bacon & eggs). No muesli, bananas were already cut and coloured brown at the buffet. They transformed a little room in a gym but all machines need fixing. Our room was clean but very noisy because of the thin walls.

Pros: Good for overnight stop on way to Alicante region. Very friendly staff and food was very good.
Cons: Rooms a bit small, parking difficult.
Pros: Extremely nice hotel, the area was beautiful. Not for people looking for plenty of activities. Walking and driving. That's it.
Pros: The village is very small and this is the only hotel. However, the staff was friendly and the food was really good. We had a lovely time meeting the local town people in the hotel bar!
Cons: There is no wifi in the rooms, only in the hotel lobby / bar / restaurant.
Pros: Very friendly and well situated in beautiful surroundings.
Cons: There could have been more choice at breakfast.
Cons: Staff try to be nice but they are not well trained, so result is poor. No other restaurant, bar or any other place to have a meal unless the hotel restaurant, thus forced to have dinner there. Hotel restaurant is medium quality, with a reduced menu...
