Pros: It was very clean. I liked the comforter on the bed. It was comfy.
Cons: The location was odd to me. It was located quite a bit away from the camino and it was in what appeared to me to be a business building, or apartment type. That being said. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were quite late for the little distance we did on the Camino Ingles but the check in was really fast and super comfortable. When we entered the whole family of the owner was there and it was like a big family party. I loved it. We got a really nice room and they made it clear that if we had any kind of problem to just talk to them. The facilities were really clean and comfy. The wifi worked great. And there were heaps of possibilities for dinner near by. The breakfast was already prepared and the coffee running even though no-one was there. Would highly recommend that place as the last stop before Santiago de Compostella. It is right on the way and really quiet.
Cons: Probably nothing at all. Except for a minor inconvience and that is NOT important for the stay at all. They were selling jewelry and I discovered this in the morning and wasn't able to purchase anything

9.0 Excellent
Pros: No need for breakfast, Location great and central. Lovely herd of cows oposite. Very helpful when booking on line. We booked a three bed room for private bathroom. Paid extra but worth it. Comfortable bed and clean. Big sitting room.
Cons: It could have been a little warmer in the room and the shower head in the bathroom could do with fixing the clamp so you do not have to hold the shower head all the time. Drying facilities in winter could prove a problem if arrived soaked. But overall that was insignificant. Nice place!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and all organized very well.
7.0 Good
Pros: There was no breakfast served at the pension. Food was available at a next door restaurant.
Cons: I got what I paid for.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well what can we say, we often stay here and the Ruta Jacobea does not disappoint. The staff as always were fantastic and the food is to die for (Entracote and Lamb Chops) were divine and compliments to the chef. The room was outstanding and overall we had a brilliant stay. Once again, thank you for having us.
Cons: Two words: Absolutely Nothing.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to the airport, and the fact that they have a shuttle that takes you to the airport for free. Also, the staff is helpful.
Cons: The rooms are badly in need of an update. The beds are horrible, uncomfortable, and are worse than at a budget hostel. The blankets are flimsy, and could use a good laundering. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired; the bathroom floor has large spots, the carpet is filthy, the ceiling has humidity stains, and the rooms and hallway smell like cigarette smoke. Finally, the shuttle driver appeared 10 minutes later than what we had scheduled.
7.0 Good
Pros: Call to hotel from airport. Free transfer pick up at airport, Dinner still avaialble at 11pm
Cons: Breakfast due to lack of guests not vast but adequate, would have hated paying more
7.9 Good
Pros: Very good restaurant and staff.
Cons: Noisy due to the fact that my room was beside the road.

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location as well.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and spoke English to a high standard. They were very accomodating in giving space to my bike along with all of the camping gear that I had.
Cons: It was disappointing to find that the restaurant adjoining the hotel was not open, particularly since the weather was very poor and not having to go out would have been a benefit.
5.0 Okay
Pros: It was ok in the center of the town but a way from the Camino but that was our choice
Cons: The breakfast was a disappointment, 2 slices of toast, a strange croissant and indifferent coffee, not a good start to a days walking

Hotel Bello - O Pino - Bedroom

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the airport, friendly, speaks English and has a taxi ready for me at 5:15 am!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It’s in a little village close to Santiago airport. I think it’s even on one of the Camino’s as I saw a pilgrim walk past the hotel. They drive you to the airport at the most impossible times. My flight was at 6.50am. No problemo. The staff was reasonably friendly but would allow me to receive a parcel at the hotel (access weight) which I thought was odd. My room was quite cold but had a bath tub. Bliss.
Cons: Because of airport shuttles at all times of the night it’s quite noisy with chatter downstairs and in the hallway. The downstairs coffee shop opens quite late for an airport hotel. I think 7 or 8am. I had dinner in the restaurant which belongs to the hotel. Food was okish. Chips under cooked. Chicken mir available. The waiter was very nice though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful owners.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet, 5 minutes from the airport. Far from the Santiago madness. Beautiful views. Restaurant and cafe on-site.
7.5 Good
Pros: It's close to the airport, less than 15 minutes by car. Taxi costs ca. 8 EUR only. Staffs speak limited English, but they are really friendly and helpful.
Cons: There is no lift, so it's a bit work when you have a large suitcase. Breakfast isn't bad, but we can be happier when there is some Spanish ham or some more warm menus.
7.5 Good
Pros: reasonably clean and staff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It’s really close from the airport (10 £ by cab)
Cons: There’s nothing to see around, just a cafe-bat and a restaurant.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient to Santiago airport and they provided a ride to the airport
Cons: No hot water in the shower in the morning. It was too early to find someone in reception to ask about it
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful.
Cons: I had to fly home from the Camino Trail for a family emergency. I booked this room at 6am the morning of the day I was arriving. I don't speak Spanish and I made the booking online where it said it only had a few rooms left. I selected the hotel due to the proximity to the airport and the free shuttle service as I had an early flight out. Unfortunately the rooms were oversold. I couldn't understand if it was on their end or bookings.com. They said they were busy that morning and didn't pull the availability. They didn't tell me any of this until they also said they had another room at a partner hotel, St. Paul, which they said was a comparable hotel. It was not. It was a hostel. Clean but nothing around it like the other one. They knew I was disappointed as we were now going back in the same direction as I had come and I needed the shuttle since I was leaving at 6:15am. They assured me they would still give me a ride to the airport the next morning and have a picnic packed for me since I was leaving before breakfast. They were there right on time and were very pleasant through the entire time, but I would have preferred staying at their hotel, not the hostel. Just compounded an already difficult day.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Brand new facility, everything was really clean and the stuff was amazing.
Cons: Cold room, the heater was off when we arrived and they turned it off during the night. When we left the facility at almost 9 am it wasn’t on yet.
7.5 Good
Pros: The Staff were very helpful and kind. Very family oriented. The place was comfortable with sheets and warm blankets and even with bunk beds it was one of my bests sleeps. There is a restaurant right next door for lunch and dinner, but not early breakfast. Close to all cafes and a farmacia just up the road. Make sure not to miss the location. It is at the break in the two lane hwy when you first come out of the forest, turn left and walk up the hwy road to the Pedrouzo sign. If you Cross the road and keep going through the forest you will walk another 45+ minutes up and back down to get to a place you could have been at in 10 minutes. Trust me...I found out the hard way.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Private rooms were big Heating was not working

7.0 Good
Pros: Modern pension type accommodation which although has small dimensions (bedrooms could have been bigger) was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast OK but again space limited, and so restriction on choice, especially for children. That said on the Camino, and close to local town with a number of interesting restaurants near-by.

Pros: Really clean and well thought out. Little touches like a shelf by each bed. Even gave me am empty room even though other rooms not full.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is spacious. bathroom facilities is good because the water is strong and warm Very comfortable
Cons: No
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Smack on the Camino Ingles, so very convenient. Great dinner but for me it opens too late for breakfast (not their fault, it’s a tradition over there). Very clean and a good deal. There is a cafe’ restaurant on the ground floor so there is always plenty of drinks and food (try the sangria...). Very convenient laundry possibility. Great commons.
Cons: Staff is... let’s say... harsh but to the point of almost being funny. The shared room was stuffy as the place is on a busy street and the windows keep the noise out but that means no air coming in. The Albergue has s restaurant on the ground floor so the noise is heard until very late. But this is not a problem for those who sleep very soundly.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and rooms in good condition. Staff busy but doing their job ok
Cons: Found the bathtub a bit deep so have to be super careful when taking a shower in case of a fall. Need a rubberized mat tonprevent slips and falls. This is the only concern I had

Pros: Firstly the pet (clean and friendly) 2 dogs. Owners/staff all excellent. But the converted mill was something else! Amazing all the crushers/grinders, all sorts of antiques throughout the establishment. And the food was amazing - we chose the set menu instead of a la carte. Can't fault anything. 10 out of 10!
Cons: There was absolutely nothing I didn't like. Some may not like that it's 5kms off the Camino, but it was well worth it!!! Plus they will pick you up and drop you off the next day.
6.3 Good
Pros: staff friendly n helpful.
Cons: Located 4 Km from Comina, not good. Staff will collect in car. It’s isolated so have to eat there; food ok but more expensive than other places we stayed; breakfast v average

Pros: Quiet location and access to river.

Pros: Fun place to stay-- in an old mill. Very friendly people. Very nice dinner. We took a walk along the little river, which was just lovely. They picked us up and dropped us off along the Camino.
7.1 Good
Cons: This is quite far off the camino which added unwanted extra cycling. Although the owner does pick up and drop off walkers. For us, this was more expensive but not as good as the other places we stayed on the camino. The rooms were pretty basic and it needs some upkeep. Also, the pictures show a place to swim but this is 25 mins walk away by the local town. The setting is quite nice by the river but there is a main road above you.

Pros: Lovely location right on Camino Norte, an old mill by the river. The dogs took us for a walk to the swimming spot in the morning. The food was very nice.
