Pros: An amazing quirky house which was just charming as were the hosts. Very considerate owners who couldn’t do enough for you. Great facilities and very strong WiFi so I could receive messages or U.K. radio stations on my device. Exceptionally large rooms and bathroom decorated with lovely French antiques. Double glazing facilitated a quiet nights sleep even though our room was right on the village square. Breakfast was superbly fresh with home made produce and the little bar/restaurant opposite provided a much welcome light lunch and even served us after 2pm as we arrived very hungry after a long journey (quite rare in small rural villages in France)
Pros: Dominique was an amazing host. She gave us a tour of her amazing property and told us about the history of the house which went back to the 14th century. We were amazed by how well she and her husband had transformed an ancient building into a modern and comfortable guesthouse with history preserved in its decor and furniture. She was very generous with breakfast which was excellent in quality and spread. A few varieties of artisanal bread, croissant, chocolate cookies, muesli, fresh fruits, yogurt, cheese, cold meats, honey, jam, green tea, and coffee. The property is located in the center of town; our room faced the center square yet it was very quiet at night probably because it was a Saturday night and the restaurant opposite was closed for business.
Cons: It was a very hot day and we had to open the window at night to sleep because there was no air-conditioning. Fortunately, the restaurant opposite the property was closed for business. I can't imagine what it would be like if it was opened that night which happened to be European Cup final - Tottenham vs Liverpool.
Cons: During the night, it was a little cold in the room. And not having a restaurant close by, it’s a big minus. Breakfast was ok, i would not give it more than a 5.
Pros: Beautiful place for a wonderful stay with friends for a few days. The hosts were amazing and so helpful. Lovely breakfast and very clean.
Pros: Beautiful old house and host, amazing breakfast, owners speak English made us very welcome and ideal stop off 5 mins from motorway
Pros: The attentiveness of the host was outstanding, with special attention to our 3 year old child. The accommodation is beautiful, and we enjoyed hearing about the renovation of the building, as well as the sharing of local knowledge via bilingualism from Dominique - which ensured our ongoing journey was seamfree; a perfect night's sleep in comfortable bed - with an outstanding breakfast prior to our departure also! Merci beacoup, Madame Dominique.
Pros: Dominique and her husband were so friendly that we felt right at home. Our bedroom had style and a very comfortable bed. Full of charm. The breakfast was so delicious ! I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for quietness, style and quality.
Cons: A personal note I would just add a door on toilet.
Pros: This is a fantastic b&b with such a lovely host. The b&b was spotless, homely and beautifully decorated. We recently stayed with family and friends as we were attending a wedding nearby. Dominique helped to arrange taxis, brought out an iron and was just the perfect host. A beautiful garden and lovely terrace to enjoy. The breakfast was delightful - fresh bread and croissants each morning. Don’t hesitate in booking - you won’t be disappointed
Located in Gratens, Maison d'hôtes L'Hermine Occitane is in a rural location, within a 15-minute drive of Church of St. Lawrence and Abbal Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Host was delightful, pool was lovely.
Cons: Rooms were furnished in a charmingly eclectic way but there was not enough clear space for the guests' belongings.
Pros: Awesome host, very friendly, good recommendations for dinner. Great breakfast!
Cons: Parking space is a little bit small for big cars.
Pros: This property is a little slice of heaven. A lovely garden, very cute animals, charming interiors, delicious breakfast, warm and welcoming hope.
Pros: A beautifully decorated and quirky room. The best thing though was Marie’s cooking. We had a fabulous evening meal - very reasonable and the best breakfast we have ever had in Europe. Scrumptious pancakes, omelette, 4 different cheeses, bread and home made jams, one of which was courgette jam - delicious!!!
Cons: Seems quite remote though that didn’t bother us. No glasses in room and as appears normal in France, no facilities for making a hot drink.
Pros: Just an incredible place for calming down and finding peace ... accompanied by some wonderful host - could have stayed there forever!
Pros: The food. The room. All of ii
Cons: I liked everything
Pros: The hostess welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. The children loved the farm animals, the bedrooms and the gardens. The breakfast was delicious. On leaving, all of us were wishing we could have stayed another night!
Cons: The bedrooms get a bit too hot in August, even during the night, and there's no air-conditioning available.
Pros: It was a perfect stay! Wonderful breakfast, so kind and warm welcome! I will definitely come back! Merci beaucoup !
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and tried to make us comfortable. The room is beautifully decorated and full of little details to make you enjoy your stay. The breakfast is excellent and the best we had on our 20 day trip. We could tell it was prepared with love. Very quiet to sleep at night.
Cons: Small double bed and soft matress. Room had an outside entrance and isolated from main house. As a B&B we had expected to have access to common lounge, etc.
La Cascadeta, small waterfall in Occitan, is a bed and breakfast located in the village of Marignac-Lasclares, halfway between Toulouse and the Pyrenees. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden offering the relaxing and refreshing sound of a waterfall. We welcome you for an authentic stay in the heart of the Toulouse countryside! Quiet rooms with garden view for 2 or 4 people. Free parking and WiFi.
Pros: this is a wonderful B&B to stay at. Nathalie and Jean-Luc are special hosts and so welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and huge. Rooms are lovely and very clean and comfortable. We couldn't have been more pleased!
Cons: Such lovely owners, it’s super clean and charming!
Pros: Amazing place! Hosts were super friendly and it was like being at home! There was a bouquet made of chocolate that made a special touch! Breakfast was just amazing! Lots of things to eat, we couldn’t even finish them!
Cons: It is difficult to find negative things here, but maybe the only negative thing is that the sat nav doesn’t take you to the right place. Trust the sat nav to get to the road of the property and then just follow the house numbers!
