A beautifully restored small chateau. tastefully done; an excellent meal; very friendly owners and staff. We'll be back!
Simple, comfortable, friendly, excellent food, attentive service
great location, fabulous food...and very attractive village on your doorstep
The Best. The food was exceptional!
We received a very warm welcome at this lovely hotel
Chateau style building, nice pool and bar. Good food. First floor rooms much bigger than second. Carpets a bit shabby in public areas.
Ideal location, welcoming staff, and comfortable accommodation - would certainly return Unfortunately the restaurant was not open, but the one recommended was excellent and we understand owned by the hotel and within easy reach.
Pool, setting in a historic town, welcome, friendly owners Shower is difficult to use
A very nice place to stay, with little touches that make it a pleasant stay
Excellent service. Quiet rural location. Modern fittings. Gourmet food. Easy parking. Outside dining. Easy to find.
very pleasant hotel, clean, efficient, good position and an excellent restaurant.
Overall quite good. Breakfast very mediocre for price charged.
Owner and his family are all friendly. The restaurant is excellent. I would like to have bathtub as well as shower.
Both the hotel interior and the bedrooms are attractively furnished and we were made to feel welcome upon arrival.
Type of hotel, personnel, room design, dinner unfavourable ratio quality/price
Food fantastic, rooms brand new.Lovely lakeside location in picturesque village. Swimming pool tiny more a plunge pool.
StAff was lovely. RestAurnt was superb. Beautifully presented innovative menu we could not have been more pleAsed
Nice location, suitable for day trips in the area. Breakfast at 12 Euros per person is overrated.
Excellent food. Good service in restaurant Internet not working in room (landlady made efforts but un-successfull). Bathroom partly integrated in bedroom. Breakfast too expensive related to content (but that is apparently general for French hotels!)
Looked lovely and dinner was delicious. Dutch owners very offhand and unwelcoming. No tea/coffee facilities and only 1 small bottle of water for two people in the room. Shower not very clean. Coffee after dinner - were charged an extra 40cents for milk !!!!! When we enquired what was for breakfast and told it would be ham and cheese with croissants we were not expecting sliced processed cheese in a country renown for its cheeses - 3 slices, plus a slice of ham cut into two, watered down orange juice and having to ask for a second cup of coffee - a flask of coffee to take away was chargeable (first time ever).
Absolutely wonderful food and very friendly owners. Very peaceful small village in beautiful countryside. They really do deserve to suceed
Very friendly Dutch owners. Considering this is a two star hotel, unexpectedly high standard. The food is great, the Chef an artist! Enchanting little village, definitely worth the trip.
Only 20 km form Cahors, This was a very comfortable overnight stop. The restaurant was excellent, we used to terrace for both dinner and breakfast. We would recommend it.
It was very nice and in a location close to many attractions in the Dordogne
