Pros: The concierge lady was very nice and very accomodating, the place quiet amd the surroundings very nice. We didn’t get to meet the owner but she was very accomodating as well and accepted to cancel the second night booking at no cost.
Cons: We found the bed average as well as breakfast (a lot of the food didn’t look fresh amd some pastry had moulds, albeit it must be said that we were off-season and from the guessbook not many people were in the last weeks). The coffre was cold. Parking proved a challenge as all the spots on the communal parking were taken. We had to go back several times to park. The lack of restaurants in the area in this season meant that we had to drive around several villages to finally find food, if you could call it that. Maybe summer time makes it all up, but fall is not the time to go imo.
Pros: Cosy and warm. Nice people. Beautiful view and village. Great full kitchen.
Pros: Everything was perfect - friendly, helpful hosts with well-run, beautifully appointed accommodation in a breathtaking setting.
Pros: This property is outstanding and Rosie and Vincenzo were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond in accommodating us. They truly treated us like family. We will never forget them!
Pros: The accommodation provided is beautiful and very high quality. The house is warm and cosy and the hosts are very friendly. The breakfast is delicious. I wish we could keep it a secret :-).
Pros: Very friendly, clean and beautifull b&b. Thanks for all!
Pros: Rossi was a wonderful host who made sure our family had everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was the best we have had in travels around Italy. The property and the rooms were beautiful.
Cons: Not a thing
Pros: Good breakfast, clean and well-kept rooms and area, out of this world location. Little pizzeria nearby with good pasta and adequate prices.
Cons: Sorry, but the art on the walls is just plain creepy. I did not enjoy having any of those paintings in our room, neither did any of my family members. Another complaint is a terribly squeaky front door, I don't know if this is on purpose to hear when someone is coming but it is annoying and it takes 1 drop of oil to fix.
Pros: I went with my boyfriend for his 30th birthday. When we arrived I was gladly surprise about the beautiful house, a renovated antique house that gives you the hotel boutique environment. More over, the breakfast was amazing with fresh natural products from the region. We also did the walking trip through the mountain (created by the owners) and it was really a pleasant surprise. Over the path there were photos taken by a family member, it was like an art gallery through the nature!! On top of all they were the perfect allies! I really wanted to give a special surprise to my boyfriend for his birthday and they helped me to decorate the dinning room for him and even they cook us a personalized cake (really delicious by the way!)!! I highly recommend this hotel is one of the most special places I've stayed. Thanks a lot for everything!! I hope I'll be back sometime soon!!
Pros: Lovely views. Charming alpine village!

Pros: It was a beautiful location on a hillside with trees surrounding the cottage-like hotel room. It was quiet and private with only a couple of rooms for guests. The owner was very helpful and friendly, and her homemade breakfast cakes were delicious! The room was spotless and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.
Cons: There's nothing I didn't like - but perhaps don't consider staying here if you want activity (bars, restaurants) nearby, as it would be difficult to reach this without a car.
Pros: This was an absolutely excellent b&b amazingly hospitable and friendly staff. The breakfast was exceptional. Everything about the place was great

Cons: Hard to say. The Wifi only works in the breakfast room.
Pros: The room was small but cosy. A comfortable bed. Had a good selection of food for breakfast and a coffee machine. The owners were very friendly and gave a good recommendation for a restaurant about 10 min. walk away. So good ate there 2 nights.

Pros: Restaurant was very good. Very good pizza. Very friendly staff. Recomended.
Cons: Small bathroom... but price quality value is very good.
Pros: The staff was nice and friendly.
Cons: Noise: The place is a bar that stays open until past 1AM and it gets very noisy. After everybody was gone the staff continued making noise up to 2am not caring at all about their guests. Cleanliness: The corridor totally smells like tobacco. Comfort: Broken shower with not really hot water. Uncomfortable bed. No air conditioning. Breakfast: The breakfast was ready late and it was some pastry brought straight from the store. Really poor. I wouldn't recommend this place, specially for someone looking to spend a peaceful night.
Pros: Super cooles Team and great Food for a very reasonable price! Don‘t go anywhere just stay and enjoy a tasty Pizza and beer or wine with it!
Cons: the owner whose nervous and ongentil with all the consumer
Pros: The location was nice, close to the city center, the view from the window was beautiful. The personal was very friendly, and they served us a great breakfast.
Cons: The hotel rooms, especially the bathrooms need serious renovation. Sink, shower etc were at least 20 years old, even the toilet paper holder was brocken. The hotel is situated above a restaurant, which has a siesta from 3 till 6:30 pm, so you cannot check-in during this time.

Pros: We came to Castelnovo ne' Monti for the hiking - beautiful area in the Appenine mountains in Italy. This hotel has been here for one hundred years - renovated four times - interesting pictures in the reception area. The owner was very nice. .Our room was very basic but with a very comfortable bed. The day we arrived it was a cloudy drizzling day - not good for hiking. So we crawled into the warm comfortable bed and took a nap, caught up on our emails and relaxed. That evening we had a very nice dinner in the hotel restaurant. The chef is very creative and had a delicious meal. The next morning after breakfast it was still a little overcast but we headed for La Piedra with high hopes after picking up a sandwich at a local place. The sun came out and we hiked to the top - great view! Once we returned to the bottom we ate lunch and found another trail on the other side of town - lovely hike through a beautiful pine forest. We enjoyed our stay at Albergo Ristorante Bismantova and would love to return some day.
Pros: Great location and perfectly fine for one nights stay if you were hoping to explore the area and hike Pietra Bismantova
Cons: The room didn’t look like the picture on the booking site
