Excellent service.Gourmet food. Very helpful staff everyone was great none
Great Location, wonderful hotel in the middle of woods, very quite, lovely swimming pool
We liked the setting (remote village in Tuscany), the facilities (beautiful swimming pool among them), the rooms and hotel common areas. Such a quiet place! Heavenly. The staff was wonderful--helpful and friendly. We were sorry that our plans had allowed for only one night there as we would have had a meal or two there and walked the extensive property.
quiet, excellent staff in reception and dining room, easy parking, comfortable rooms, use of outside faucet to clean car windshield no light on over reception desk at check in, false fire alarm during stay
To have breakfast outside, in the middle of the country and the old stile structures, with the grass smell and the brilliant water in the swimming pool...is wonderful. My room was a bit small and I had a problem with the bed vs wardrobe position (there was not enough space to reach my side of the bed and the window).
the pool is long enough for one to actually swim, kept clean; the cuisine is good, we especially liked the salad buffet for dinners; pleasant and responsive staff; the hotel is located half-way between beaches and Siena, so is ideal for those who wish to combine rest in a secluded place in the woods, high above summer heat, with day-trips to Tuscan castles and the seaside. Breakfast definitely must include fresh fruit.
quiet environment, friendly staff, great food
Beautiful location, excellent staff, and great resturant
The rooms were lovely although a little dark. The Swedish receptionist was very helpful. The breakfast was not great.
Position, helpfulness of staff and the rooms were magnificent.
The apartaments are very comfortable, well decorated and the view is out of this world.
Very beautiful place and village. Very nice views, and it was great that we had our own "terrace" with sunshine all day. There was no-one at the hotel when we arrived, could not find the reception. We called the owner and they arrived in a few minutes. The reception person did not speak any english, but we did manage ok. They are very friendly and welcoming, however!
the setting is spectacular.the village has all the shops required for a self catering holiday,as well as 3 very good restaurants.the village is built on a steep hill,so wouldnt be suitable for anyone who is not mobile.
Very nice, higly recommended. Should be willing to drive as many places worth seeing aren't close by.
The hotel was superbly situated in foothills of Siena with a terrific view of the surrounding landscape. The pool area was illuminated in the evening and the setting was extremely picturesque. The accomdation did not have a freezer or any ice-making department in the fridge
visting vilages and countrysides and cities nearby no
A beautiful location, relaxed atmosphere, welcoming and efficient staff. We throroughly enjoyed our stay.
Friendly staff, clean, cooking facilities, situated in interesting village with food shops, good views, beautiful countryside. Access only via single track road (5 km)
What an amazing place to stay in southern tuscany - a beautiful village to explore, unbelievable pool and view, excellent apartment and a couple of nice local restaurants in walking distance. Great value. You will need a car though, and allow plenty of time for visiting other places as windy roads in the hills are slow.
Stunning views,Tranquil setting in hilltop village,We met the owners/staff at check-in/out and they were welcoming and courteous.Rooms were lovely with traditional high ceilings with wooden beams.Beautiful pool with enough loungers for all.Well equipped kitchen and outdoor barbecue area.
