Great and beautiful stay. Owner is passionate and ensures a great stay.
It was a wonderful stay. The employees were wonderful people and the facility itself was perfect. the views from our villa were everything you would imagine Tuscany to be.
The staff is fantastic, rooms beautiful, and the location is perfect for tuscany tours. I would stay again any time!
The location was beautiful looking out over fields with a stunning garden and pool. Stephanie who runs the Villa was superb and even rescued us when a bike ride went very wrong and we ended up in the dark miles from the Villa. She came to pick us up at 8.30pm (what a star). Our room was huge and classy. We felt like we were in our own private house as there weren't loads of staff and the atmosphere was relaxed. P.S. Breakfast was wonderfull.
Fantastic setting for the hotel and very spacious rooms. The staff gave us some very good restaurant recommendations - in particular La Grotta, which is very close to the hotel, was superb.
The staff told us proudly about the bath and how the Japanese like their "O-furo" but on the first night the hot water ran out before the bath was full so we were reduced to a quick and rather cold dip - not at all the true "O-Furo" experience! In our room.the air conditioning was not working, although luckily it was not too hot when we visited. We were not offered any compensation for the lack of hot water and I think it would have been very difficult to get any kind of immediate action to remedy the situation as there are very few staff present at night.
