10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in the city centre, not far from the Comiso airport. Really good choice for your stay! Very nice, friendly, polite, helpful owner, who really loves his property - you feel it in every detail. Wonderful balcony/terrace on the roof with entrance from the room, where you have an amazing view to Dome. Especially at night. Everything is clean and new. Very cozy room mansard type. Good breakfast you can have on the roof terrace as well. Very close to the main Comiso's square with several restaurants where you may have a good Sicilian dinner.
Cons: everything was on a high level!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marco was very helpful throughout our stay and also took care of picking us up from the airport and also took us back on departure
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Attractive property just off the main square. Our room opened onto a balcony with picturesque rooftop views where we could take our breakfast if we wished & where we sat to enjoy the aerial antics of the many swifts. Comiso is beautiful, compact & full of life in the square in the evening where we had a great dinner. Marco allowed us to drop our luggage early and we spent the morning in the Natural History Museum which we thoroughly enjoyed & recommend as a top place to visit. Marco got up early to make breakfast for us at 7am & then drove us to the airport. Thank you!
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: .Good breakfast .Great location .Excellent service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The design of the bathroom was so cool! It blended the natural limestone of the building and area seamlessly with modern plumbing and amenities. I have never seen anything like it!
Cons: The TV in my room color was off. No matter what adjustments myself or the manager made it was either too blue, red, or green. Ended up using my lap top to watch internet videos.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, liked the shower. Marco was very friendly and the shuttle was ready when we landed.
Cons: Comiso is not a very interesting area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The price point for the room was amazing! The view from the top room was spectacular and the luxury of the second room was fantastic! Definitely will be returning!

Pros: Lovely friendly boutique hotel, in the old part of comiso so plenty to see and do. Lots of restaurants, cafes and bars close by.
Cons: Very narrow streets to drive on!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast on the room Parking near hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location and value for money, beautiful boutique hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very clean and comfy, our room was on the last floor and we had a beautiful view of the city roofs. We also had our own big balcony. In the morning lovely receptionist served us breakfast in the room.
Cons: It's nothing to do with the hotel but with me. I personally don't enjoy Italian breakfast (despite the coffee is fab!) and I prefer when there is an option to have a full English breakfast or at least porridge or eggs even if for extra money. In addition, I could say the town is quite small and in the evening it's barely possible to find any open shop (even if google says it's still open), we couldn't find one. Try to shop before 6pm :)

Cons: Every thing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything as great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's just like visiting your old good friends somewhere in the countryside, who you haven't seen so long. Building is renovated, all the facilities in the room are great, balcony and views are cool, bed is very comfy. You can find that anywhere else, but.. once you order a dinner and spend the whole evening with the owner (Francesco) and his friend (Piero) in his private house, eating 5 course menu maid of ONLY local ingredients and with local recipes by the owner himself accomplished with classic music and very great organic wine.. then everything changes and you understand, that you arrived at this non-remarkable village only to be the part of this hospitality and get unforgettable experience! Many thanks to Francesco! P.S. he is also the author of the pictures on the walls, real artist ;)
Cons: It was a cold night in the end of November and the floors were very cold. Luckily for us, northern people, it's not a problem at all, but some "heat lovers" can suffer a bit in the winter season, maybe..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms, food and owners are wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Truly authentic interior, perfect breakfast and caring hosts. Highly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: we loved everything, it is such a lovely B & B. Piero and Francesco did everything to help us and make our stay comfortable. We had a lovely dinner both nights we were there and it was mush more than expected. The food and wine and atmosphere everything was perfect. Thank you Piero and Francesco.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Francesco and Piero are particularly welcoming and the various rooms are tastefully fitted out, along with modern bathroom facilities. Supper via their 'restaurant at home' dining experience was a delight, five or six courses, accompanied by Maria Callas in the background. However, it was the next day that Francesco's and Piero's customer service reached levels which you would never find with someone like Travelodge or the Hilton Group, etc, etc. We had breakfasted, checked out and gone off to view the Licodia Eubea castle. On return to our car, it wouldn't start and with our hosts extremely kind assistance, the car hire company's recovery people were called, soon arrived and diagnosed a battery fault (I thought it was the starter motor, but what the hey). The 'AA man's' only solution was to take our car away but not via the depot back in Catania airport. The only option to get there appeared to be via a taxi, with the added hassle of trying to get that cost back from the car hire company. That wasn't the only option apparently, as Francesco and Piero insisted on taking us back to the airport, where they assisted us in taking over a replacement hire car and leading us back to the road junction for the next leg of our trip!!! Customer service above and beyond the call of duty . . . superb, and we will be back!
Cons: What didn't we like . . . ? Leaving . . .

Pros: The owner Carmelo was a super gentleman. He greeted us with some local ''ircotta'' cakes which where delicious. Showed us all the village of Licodia and even took us for a tour with his car. Location in the main square was excellent as it was the tidiness in the property. Fantastic views. He booked the restaurant for us too. Very good prices in a very quiet and calm village. Parking was not a problem. Fantastic stay.
Cons: 2 or 3 days would have been better :-)

Pros: Very warm welcome from Carmelo for our first night in Sicily. Excellent clean accommodation and Carmelo had gone the extra mile in making our stay enjoyable. Pros: Really nice people. Always helpful, unfortunately we didn't have lunch or dinner over there but breakfast was good (not English style breakfast). The pool area is awesome, tranquility at its best.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: rich amenity, rich location, rich meal and rich wine, everything is rich here.
Cons: Please refill pool towel. I wanted fresh vegetables in breakfast. I appreciated if normal tissues in the room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The sunset from the properties elevation was unbelievable, as the entire sky seems to go blood red each night. The staff was very welcoming and went out of their way to accomadate my wife's mobility issues. All rooms are ground level, and easily acced by the courtyard. The star of this hotel/winery is the restaurant. We did a wine paring dinner and it was absolutely incredible. The chef and his team were over the top. We drank much wine on our 18 day trip across italy and these were amazing. The wait staff shared the kitchens passion. You must have dinner here.
Cons: As this it is a winery, first and foremost, the common area accomadation are sparse for arriving guests. It would be wonderful if the entryway and large courtyard had more furniture and decor to enjoy the outdoor areas.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff!!! This accommodation is not made for kids. However, the staff was so sweet and did everything they could to make it great for our 1,5 year old. Also, they reminded every wine we tasted at dinner the day before. Very attentive.

Pros: After a detailed review of their wine production and a visit to their cellar, we enjoyed a fabulous dinner with wine tasting. All stuff was very professional and knowledgeable. Location with wonderful views of the valley. Room was spacious and well equipped. I ‘d love to go back.

Castello Camemi - Vizzini - Building
13
9.3 Excellent (85 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Vizzini, Castello Camemi is in the mountains, within a 10-minute drive of Cunziria and Imaginary Verghiano Museum. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Unique experience of stay in the building with hundreds of years history surrounded by nature. Very friendly and helpful personnel, wonderful food in the restaurant, selection of wines and rich and tasty breakfast. Here you can forget about worries of everyday life and relax.
Cons: Nothing at all
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was huge & bathroom likewise. The central garden around which all the rooms are arranged is really wonderful. The old carob tree takes pride of place. The restaurant ambience is lovely, the good food is made by a passionate young chef & served by the molto simpatico Santo & colleague. A true oasis.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Entire staff- Santo, Rachel, Roberto, Christian, Daniel and Nunzia went out of their way to accommodate all of our requests. Property was very clean and peaceful. Dining options, as well as service, were outstanding.
Cons: Lighting in room, specifically bathroom, could have been brighter.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Costello Camemi is over 2km away along a narrow road leading from the main road to the property itself but don't give up you'll eventually come across the Castello. We had a choice of two rooms both equally large and well presented. There were not many people staying one the night we stayed but even so we still enjoyed excellent service. The main rooms are impressive reflecting the overall castle-like character of the property. We ate dinner and despite only one other dining couple, the service was excellent and we enjoyed the food. Again, breakfast was laid out and not stinted in terms of available options. We would be very happy to return to this hotel - very peaceful although we understand numerous weddings are held here primarily at weekends when, we expect, things would get very busy!!
Cons: Our room was accessed via a courtyard so we might have got a bit wet if it had been raining and the rooms are a little distance from the car park although help with our cases was volunteered. There is a seemingly run-down farm property to one-side of the hotel which is a bit of an eye-sore but this does not impact in the views from the main grounds and towards Etna which, on a clear day, is quite visible,
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything provided by the hotel was excellent, from the sympathetic way in which the building has been adapted to the excellent food and first rate friendly service. The weather was very cold for our stay but the high ceilings and thick stone walls would, I am sure, make the ambiance in high summer very comfortably cool.
Cons: It is such a shame that virtually every view from the castello is blighted by wind-turbines. In addition, Vizzini has only it's ancient street plan to commend it, but there are virtually no attractions : we found no shops open, nowhere at all to find lunch (at 1230) and no fuel for the car. There were no supermarkets so it was not possible to buy a picnic. Having scoured the town on foot for two hours, we had to drive to another town to buy food. There were no museums or galleries and no historic buildings open to the public. Although one can appreciate shabby chic, much of the town was effectively in ruins or shuttered. This paucity (which of course is not the fault of the hotel) forces one to have lunch at the hotel - when the room has cost €244 and an evening meal €136 for two, one might be reluctant to pay yet more for lunch
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was like a dream. Paradisiac. Or a dream of some 19th Century aristocrat's life. Absolute perfection. We had our own private dining room with chef and waiter for a supremely delicious dinner. The most comfortable beds imaginable. A gigantic beautiful bathroom.
Cons: One could say that the room in December was on the cold side. It wasn't that there was no heat but rather that the heater, which was doing its best, could not prevail against the enormity of the space it was being asked to deal with.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice atmosphere, bit remote and wedding-y. Beautiful courtyard !
Cons: The pool was really not clean
7.5 Good
Cons: Isolated
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The castle is amazingly restored with good taste. Staff were very friendly, helpful and handled any issue in a very professional manner. The location is peaceful and quiet. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The breakfast is excellent including home-made cakes and biscuits. The restaurant provided interesting and tasty dishes. Pros: The house lies on a hill with a beautiful view of the valley below. It is also (at least for us) nicely placed between Catania, Siracusa and Agrigento, which comes in handy if you have a car. Also the owner and his daughter are a very nice and warming person. We never met such lovely people when traveling.
Cons: nothing
9.2 Excellent

Pros: We had 9 nights in different places in Sicily, so we can compare, Casa Ronnavona is our Number 1 without any questions, super value for money, super friendly, you can feel real hospitality and a excellent vibe, great view, lovely breakfast (not only food but as well terrace with view), big and comfortable room - evrything perfect
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This place was worth going just to enjoy the hospitality of the owner, Paolo. He's a wonderful person and host who made us feel comfortable and at home. The house sits on a slope of a hill surrounded by olive trees, a small vineyard, and several other fruit trees. From the time we checked in he offered us some homemade extra virgin olive oil over homemade bread he both made. Gave us good tips on where to go as what to see. Breakfast was very nice, we enjoyed coffee and tea with homemade bread and jams on an outside patio with a great view. Paolo also personally showed us the way to go see a millennial olive tree (very impressive) and a several century old oak tree. As for the room we stay in, it was basic but had all we needed and it was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely come back again, great stay!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owner was friendly and helpful. In the middle of olive trees. We could see the harvest of olives
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ronnavona Casa in Chiaramonte Gulfi was my most memorable stay during our recent visit to Sicily. The town is known as Il Balcone di Sicilia (the Balcony of Sicily). The B&B can easily share the “Balcony of Sicily “nickname as its location, and lovely patio provides a spectacular view of the olive groves and valley below, and the Mediterranean Sea beyond. The accommodations are private and located in a separate stone cottage, comfortable and spotless. Paulo and Flora, his daughter, were perfect hosts in every way. The breakfasts served on a beautiful terrace included prickly pear fruit and oranges harvested from nearby orchards. We were also treated to Paulo’s homemade bread, jams, and a delicious tasting of first pressed olive oil drizzle on bread sprinkled with oregano. Our astronomic feast continued in restaurants recommended by Flora. Ristorante U Dammusu (my favorite in Sicily!) and Ristorante Majore are both located in Chiaramonte Gulfi’s historic center. Highly recommend Ronnavona Casa for anyone interested in a charming and authentic Sicily experience.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great hospitality and a great environment to go exploring the countryside from. We also got to try fresh produce from the grounds the house is situated in.
Cons: Unfortunately while we were there the wifi was down but we were offered alternatives to help us.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully located and surrounded by 1500 olive trees. Delicious dinners with local Italian food. Lovely staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I went to Villa Zottopera with a friend and we were very happy there as the place exceeded all our expectations. The host family was always super charming and hospitable. When we arrived we even had some food in the fridge. We also enjoyed the simple native kitchen and especially the homemade olive oil and wine. The area of the villa is perfect to relax.
Cons: We didn't felt like this is an actual problem as we were looking for a silent and non urban area but if you do not want to use the car a lot and are looking for some restaurants nearby or even some bars or a beach around the corner this might be a little problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was outstanding! Definitely arrange to eat dinner here. Weeks later, I'm still thinking about her fabulous homemade pasta.

Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Anna the hostess was lovely Room was lovely Breakfasts were good We had dinner on property every night
Cons: As everywhere else in Italy, the flys were an irritant
7.5 Good
Pros: The villa is set in a beautiful landscape. The sunsets are beautiful. The pool and the area to sit are very nice and well kept. The dinner at the house was amazing. It was a lot of delicious food and not expensive.
Cons: Well we booked a studio with a kitchen and when we arrived we didn't get what we booked unfortunately. We had a shared terrasse and we didn't have a kitchen, so we felt a bit locked up in a hotel room not having our own facilities. I am not sure where it went wrong, but the descriptions on booking are different from the website of the villa itself. Despite this, the people at the accommodation did try to fix it for us and we were able to use the kitchen and terrasse of a big apartment that was not used until we left. So in the end it was ok, but I will be more careful in the future. We booked an apartment of 100m2 with the mentioned facilities and we were at maybe 20m2. A big difference to our expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you want an unpretentious relaxed original rural Sicilian stay then this is your place! So laid back. Gorgeous pool. Highly recommend Anna’s cooking you request for evening meals. Delicious. Anna & Antonio lovely hosts. Highly recommend . There are 2 friendly dogs roaming the place which for us too. Good value for money & very authentic
Cons: Nothing!
