Great hotel for the price!
The room door was hard to open
Not a good experience
Location was great.
Felt dirty. Floors were nasty. Construction trash was right outside the door. Just not a good experience. Couldn't recommend it and won't stay there again.
Cheap but issues with bites
The cheap rate. That's is all.
But you get what you pay for. My fiance and I both got bites and skin reactions and asked for a refund back, but the owner said no. I said it could be bed bugs, or other insects, since this was the second stay that we had issues at that place. We also had to switch rooms on this particular night, because the first room was dirty. I believe the majority of the rooms were put out of service because they were dirty. He argued back and said they get a monthly inspection report. Also he and the front desk clerk that morning were both rude when I asked about a refund. I didn't want to be bothered with that place anymore so I just left. I see why that property has gone down hill, and has fallen way behind in the market. That place is no better than the cheap sleazy motels that sit right behind it.
Overall it was a good value and afforded more amenities than most of the competitors in the area.
Okay but frustrating
The rate received through Kayak was reasonable.
I was there a week and they stuck me in a far away corner upstairs because of supposed Indian wedding entourage that was arriving and much more important than myself..I stayed there before and feel I deserved better treatment than this. I had to carry my things a long distance and outside access closest to my room was not working.. There were numerous empty rooms on the 1rst floor that remained empty throughout my stay and I never saw any wedding group It was an extremely hot room for some reason and the ac barely cooled the room off. I placed the thermostat on 60 and it became a little more comfortable after this. There was no hot water the first night/next morning so I had to take a cold shower. The breakfast is merely continental with the occasional fly running about and the so called fitness room stays locked and you have to ask for a key. Room keys don't work for the fitness room which only contains stationary bikes (treadmill doesn't work).
