Pros: Nice place, kind people, good beds.
Pros: Hostess went above and beyond our expectations. She was very friendly and extremely helpful.
Pros: The accommodation here is a credit to its owner Elise! Beautifully decorated and comfortable bedrooms. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast and will be sure to return in the future.
Cons: Nothing at all!
Pros: The hostess was very helpful . The breakfast very good value and the accommodation really interesting . Would return .
Pros: Large comfy bed and nice breakfast
Cons: As there were no other guests we had the lounge and kitchen area to ourselves. But it might be a little noisy if there are other guests.
Pros: Warm friendly welcome by our landlady. Off-street parking in lovely private courtyard. General ambience, full of character and beautifully decorated Excellent restaurant only 4 doors down street. Very good breakfast with fresh bread and jam.
Cons: Quaint spiral staircase to our attic room was fun but difficult with baggage. Other rooms don't have that problem. Also stairs to first floor were steep so not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Pros: Having use of a kitchen and little lounge. Delightful host.
Cons: The only problem was that there was no restaurant nearby. Both restaurants nearby were Ferme Annuelle! And the Vietnamese takeout closed on the day we were there. However, 'VINtage', a wine bar in the square, doing cheese and meat patters saved the day.
Pros: Delightfully presented accomodation in a central location. Friendly enthusiastic owner.
Cons: Bath only with shower attachment on bath...no bracket or screen.
Pros: Planned an overnight stop to break up a long journey through France. Use the N10 to avoid the expensive toll on the A28 Had an interesting walk around the town and an excellent pizza at “Milano pizza” Room very comfortable, nice shower and breakfast. Everything spotless. Hostess was charming, showed us the communal seating area and kitchenette. Car parked just outside the property in a marked bay.
Cons: WiFi signal a bit feeble in our room

Pros: The owner Simone made us very welcome. We arranged to have dinner and it was really nice, top quality, home made food. The breakfast was delightful and Simone joined us for both meals along with “Microsoft Translator” and we managed to communicate well and also have a laugh. All in all - a very nice lady.
Pros: Fantastic welcome. Served a cold beer in a very pretty garden very welcome after a long journey. Hospitality excellent and a really lovely breakfast
Friendly Loire valley BnB and studios (self catering accommodation) next to the loire valley castles, in charming converted rustic forge. This old Farrier timbered 18th century has preserved its authenticity with its forge-fire and beams weathered by time. House of character entirely devoted to our guests, it is located in a small hamlet near Amboise. The 5 cozy guest rooms and 2 studios with antique furniture, all with shower and WC, are overlooking a beautiful wooded valley... Breakfast included, living-dining room reserved for our guests with kitchen available, wireless access free, proposal from circuits visits, large landscaped garden with relax - barbecue and furniture, stream, woods, meadows. Our 2 studios (one room apartment for 2 people) are each 40m2 and includes 1 double bed 140X190cm, private shower and toilet, a little kitchen with fridge and cooker, table and chairs, armchairs...(same price as a room for 2 people, but without breakfasts and for stay not less than 5 nights)
Pros: general tone and atmosphere, host was very helpful, location and countryside were excellent.
Cons: nothing to dislike
Pros: A glass of wine on arrival, the most comprehensive tour guide for your use and a host who has the whole region at his finger tips. An ideal opportunity to practice or enhance your French - an interactive experience - sitting at table with host and fellow guests. Breakfast coffee was some of the best we have had. The breakfast is properly continental but if you wanted eggs then there were eggs from the hens in the garden for you to cook. Fridge, hob, small stove, sink and fully equipped dining area - everything you need to prepare your own food. Wonderful garden with geese and goats and chickens - magical!!
Cons: Bins: food waste is recycled, but paper, packaging and bottles (there are always bottles in France :-) needed to be taken to the recycling depot yourself. Which is nothing major but makes you conscious of packaging; which is a good thing but perhaps not what one expects. Pillows: always a very personal thing but as with so much of continental Europe, in my experience, don't expect them to be like your favourite at home. If like me a pillow is your rest and night's sleep, I would, if possible bring your own.
Pros: Amazing breakfast. A real french style blacksmith in the heart of Loire valley. The host is a Loirepedia with thousands of cultural stories!
Pros: Very nice place. And wellcome hosts. They also gave us lot of recommendations about places to visit and best ways to get there. Lot of thanks) We enjoyed our trevell and our stay.
Cons: Everything perfect
Pros: Everything-location,comfort, worm welcoming are priceless... Dany and his wife are brilliant hosts. Can recommend La Maréchalerie to everyone.
Pros: Best host, they gave us the best advices to discover Loire Valley and the atmosphere was just so relaxing and I felt home. Thanks a lot, widely recommended!
Pros: The property is beautiful the owners fantastic all the time we were here. Temperature was over 40 degrees all the time we were there but the room stayed cool and comfy. Very highly recommended.
Pros: The owner aka personal tour guide and tourist information all rolled in to one! If you are interested in exploring this area, and specifically the chateax then this is perfect for you. The owner provided information, leaflets maps and daily suggestions in a folder on arrival and then met us at breakfast each morning to provide suggestions for the day! The accommodation is beautiful, peaceful and very relaxing. A serve yourself breakfast was great and provided us with the freedom to start the day at our pace. Garden lovely and has loungers chairs and bbq to use, very little near by, but nice little towns approx 15km. Great Location for touring.
Cons: This accommodation specialises in providing indepth information for those interested in daily road trips to see some of the many Châteax, however if just looking for a genneraal place to stay over, there are no shops or facilities within walking distance.
