Evening Menu - Good choice and good quality of food and friendly service Lack of space in room
Easy to find, prominant location. Interesting town and street market in the old walled part of town. Breakfast was very good.
A very basic small room not up to the standard of others we have used in the same price range
The quirkyness of the staff it was like having a meal with a very large family Very good the bed were hard and dated not designed for the portly tybe of man, and no elecric sockets
None Dirty, run down, noisy, cramped.
Good food, friendly service
Convenient for Langres, easy to find, friendly. Restaurant good service & food. Rather noisy, sound insulation in room poor.
Basic clean rooms, very good restaurant
Friendly, good value for money, good restaurant facilities, ample parking and in a good location for an overnight stay during our drive through France. Nicely located just outside the city walls of Langres.
They had internet Rooms needed refurbishing even at the price of 50 euros a night.
The centalized location and good breakfast Maybe for the future it would be good to have air conditioning
it was fine and is being redecorated and improved
The staff were friendly, the room was spacious and the food was good.
Located in quiet square off main street, the hotel was characterful and well maintained. The staff were welcoming and freindly. Excellent value for money.
We had a refurbished room, which was attractively decorated with reasonably modern toilet facilities, for France. The dining & sitting rooms were similarly attractively furnished and equipped. The breakfast at 6€ was good value.
Situated in the old town. Private parking. Restaurant. Room a bid small.
It was very handy for anyone driving from Calais to further down in France or Italy. But it wasn't somewhere I'd stay under other circumstances. We did choose a cheaper non re-furbished room, so we weren't expecting glamour, but we've had nicer rooms on the Motorway. Restaurant was a bit over priced for what it was. However full marks for convenience for Motorway.
Secure Parking for our motorcycles, Good choice of breakfast menu, Clean room with well equipped bath room. A parking charge for our motercycles even when we where asked and did use a corner of the car park which was not a designated parking place, (a little mean I think)
central location, friendly, having a family room and staying there again next year. Once this hotel has been refurbished it will be lovely
Out in the sticks. Only hotel in town, chosen because Nogent was a convienient overnight stop. Good restaurant. Friendly. Not knowing what to expect, it was a good choice.
The room was very small nowhere to put things at he side of the bed as it was against the wall.
Food excellent, service excellent Room very noisy disturbed by people outside talking during late evening , night ,with window closed. Road sweeper noise very early. Bed quite hard.
No restaurant facilities in hotel or in the town after 7pm
No breakfast, Evening meal expensive and not very good.
Friendly staff, lovely rooms (we stayed in the African room - very comfortable, with nice homely touches). Also great hotel for business people staying longer and wanting to have a home away from home. Heated pool from April-October. Set in a town with a wellness-resort, shops are next door, and the countryside and woods are just around the corner. Only 20 km away from the A31, so also a good place for spending the night en route to the south of France. Worked very well for us.
Easy to find, with plenty of parking. Service was efficient and the hotel is well run. Evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. Location was ideal for a local stroll to the lakes. Breakfast was very minimal and unappealing (so we chose not to have it).
convenient stop over did not try the restaurant butit was busy, owners seemed a little upset that we did not eat at hotel. family room was at the front of the hotel by the road and as it was very hot we had to leave the windows open there was alot of lorry noise from about 2pm so if you are a light sleeper would recommend asking whether they have a family room at the back
Nice room, not too big, but sufficient, with a decent bathroom. The restaurant had some delicious items on the menu. Lovely setting in the countrysite.
It was very welcoming and very French - we arrived late and had a lovely meal on the terrace. We had a simple but good breakfast and departed early the following day.
The ambiance was very nice. The rooms were cozy, and the restaurant was well set out. The food was excellant.
we just stayed one night on our way home. Good value for money, good breakfast. very noisy doors
Good food Being charged for car parking
Nothing You cant check in until 17.00 even though there was staff in the hotel they would not even let us inside, we arrived on motorcycles having ridden 400km that day and were left to stand ouside in swealtering heat until my wife contacted booking.com to complain. The hotel seemed to be for contractors not holiday makers and was therefore extremely overpriced.
I was charged extra for deessert even though the menu p[rice was for a 4 course meal that included dessert. At chech out when I paid the receptionist lied and said quite abruptly that the fixed price meal did not include dessert.
Convenient location, restaurant was good and a very good breakfast.
Great service, large room, great location walking distance to the old town. Large car park.
We had booked in this hotel, but send to Hotel L Europe in the center of Langres. Telefonecall at my home adresin holland on the evening before departure. There was parking and for one evening it was nice to be in the center of this old town
Relaxed, quietness The food in the restaurant was not so good.
Good car park. Good sized room. 1. When we arrived at 17:45 the hotel was shut and there was a notice on the door explaining that it would re-open at 18:30 2. Althought the hotel advertises that it has a restaurant in fact it does not. 3. The hotle is out of town. 4. Carpets are dirty and unkempt.
The location and the quality of the breakfast. The bed was poor - just bearable for one overnight stay.
Location in centre of historic town and French ambience. Very good parking facility and reasonable restaurant. Nothing
it was real french, nice and friendly
Central location in the heart of Langres some amenities such as hot water was a but tempremental.
Good food Payment for parking. Very tiny toilet.
Nice room, nice location, nothing wrong, poor WiFi.
Nice room newly decorated Having to wait for other customers before we could get our car out of the garage although they'd asked what time we wanted to leave very small parking area with cars parked in front of each other
Private Parking and good position Food too salty
Calm and sraight forward sevice The menus displayed in the windows were almost poor quality enough to dissuade me from dining. However the actual service and food quality were perfectly good!
I have stayed here several times over six years because of the town's location en route from UK to Italy, and the town is attractive. I feel this place has changed hands and changed for the worse. The staff, both front of house and restaurant, were not welcoming, and the quality of the restaurant has become disappointing. The whole place, especially the entrance and public areas, needs a large face-lift; nothing has been done in the six years I know it and it's become seedy. The room was OK.
The restaurant is very good and the dining room charming. Car parking convenient and reasonably priced. The reception area and staircase shabby.
The Room was a decent size, the bathroom was big, the food was excellent , the breakfast was something to get used to, only confiture. The inkeeper could be a bit more international e.g. understand english or german.
Beds were comfortable and fast Wireless internet was available in the room. A pleasant view across farmland. Secure parking (but not free!) A very small village, with a dawn chorus ranging from geese, through cockerels to a donkey. A perceived non-relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. Distastefully furnished. Under renovation (allthough no noise from this outside working hours).
Very friendly staff although they did not speak English they really tried the food was excellent and the room lovely
Location,staff,food Tired rooms
it was a very calm environment in a lovely countyside situated at the boarder of a small lake
The wheater was good and therefor it was pleasant around the lake.
Lovely location/surroundings. Room was a bit small.
Good overnight stop. Quiet, clean, with nice breakfast. Beds hard.
seperate room for kids adjoining was good and kitchen facilities were handy. Rooms were clean. beds were very poor standard, carpets and general furnishings were very cheap and dated. Staff were courteous but not always welcoming, especially late evening reception which was less than welcoming.
Closeness to the town No english speaking staff
terras, kitchen long way to the car park.
Nothing was too much trouble, staff were very friendly. Room and hotel itself very clean No
Next to motorway, easy to acces although no traffic sounds in room. Good for one night on the way to the north or south Small room small bathroom but for one night no problem
The room was large and very comfortable. It is a quiet position and the restaurant is very good.
Staff helped in very late arrival traffic noise
Very comfortable and quiet; particularly liked the walk-in shower. Room a little on the small side.
Very convenient if travelling. The water was cold in the shower! It was quite expensive.
