Typical quaint old French hotel located in the market place with plenty of local bars and restaurants.Staff very friendly with excellent service.
Owner was very helpful Needs softer pillows
Landlord and landlady very friendly and enthusiastic, lovely typically French town. Good private car park.
The staff are all very friendly, excellent location.
location in central square of town, comfortable room, friendly staff, safe parking,
Friendly helpful staff. Secure parking. Hotel great, only problem is whole town shuts down on a Sunday night, difficult find anywhere open to eat!!!!
does the job - 1hrs drive from lemans for 24hr race, all you require as the hotel is in the town square-room cleaned every day, fresh towels etc breakfast not up to much- but you dont have to take it
I enjoyed going up and down the carpeted spiral staircase to the large bedroom on top floor. The gold braid gave a special touch. Also, looking out from our bedroom window onto the small town plaza, all its activities of a weekend evening. As others have mentioned, the petit-dejeuner is ok but a bit meagre for the price.
The large room and the big double bed. Nothing.
Well placed hotel. Quiet room.
Everyone from the owners down, made us feel like true guests. Food was amazing. Best steak in France! Couldn't do enough for us. Excellent heated pool even in September!
Position; Untidy gardens; garden furniture left untidy each day
We stayed in chateau room best described as shabby chic .Wonderful views from window restaurant excellent
were given choice of two rooms.both beautiful and large.Furnishings were gorgeous and being on the 2nd floor views were lovely. One of the most comfy rooms we have had in France. Loved it. Ceasar was a commendable addition to the hotel.would recommend to anyone. We had dinner which was very nice however the cheapest bottle of wine was 40 euros...Bottled water cost 10 euro and our meal for 2 cost 90 euro without wine.
Charming , personable and fun place to stay .
Welcome on arrival having found the place, rural location and quality of food both at dinner and breakfast, friendly place I stayed in the Mill. Challenging location - it was a relief to get there! Seemed close to my main route south but took a while and I was mistaken for other guests who had called in for directions....not sure if Mrs Mann made it, the others expected and I shared stories over dinner as we met arriving.
The friendlyness, the rooms, the location the cuisine and the wine list. This was our second visit and will not be our last. No
superb location, really idyllic, lovely features and decor, with great staff and one of the best three restaurants we've ever eaten in. while the cost of accomodation is reasonable, the food and drink is quite expensive, but worth it
We adored this charming family run Chateau. The service was excellent, the room was very spacious and overlooked the gardens. The managers lent us bikes to explore the local area which was very pretty. But the best thing about this chateau is the restaurant - beautiful, authentic, rustic French cuisine with an amazing wine list. Nothing to complain about, would recommend without hesitation.
Charming place in the middle of the Perche, the room was very authentic - could be your a Friend place - feeling that your are at home. If you like nature, want to feel as a castle owner, like when eveything is not electronic, noisyless and perfect but charming, definitively a place to go. Breakfast are good with yougurts, fresh fruits and worth the 15€ compared to other places service is really friendly but not very efficient, professional. restaurant prices are very expensive compared to the quality of the foods, especially wines ( nothing under 100€) and we waited for 1 hour between the starter and the main course. same for breakfast - you have to be patient if you want to drink your tea with a piece of bread
Efficient service. The room smelt badly of smoke. Cooking smells woke me up very early,
everything Please do not hesitate to contact me if I may be of any further assistance in this matter
After the Grand Prix on sunday afternoon, no staff were present for drinks etc. As they knew that many of the guests had come to attend the race, they could have changed what i guess is the normal sunday afternoon procedure to accommedate us. No problems other than this.
staff very helpfull, hotel very clean nothing wrong with hotel but sign posting could be better.
A very pleasurable overnight stop. Would definitely use again
Quit environment Arriving at a hotel !7.50h Sunday without manned reception
it was clean there was a smell coming from the bathroom
The staff's friendlyness and support, cleaniness, attention to details, I even sent an email to that fact to them, absolute great, very enjoyable Nothing at all
Air conditioning, TV, breakfast
clean rooms,good breakfast
Location is good. Very performant free Wifi. Restaurant in the hotel Stress on my friends who are smokers and had two other rooms
Acfessibility. Good service. Nice clean rooms
Friendly no nonsense staff. Lovley room. Good diner.
Ideally placed in the square of this small provincial town, it offers friendly and helpful service and a clean room. The rooom overlooks the square, so expect some noise from local boys on their mopeds, and the church clock ringing out- though not all through the night.
The hotel is on the main square in this small town. We broke a long journey here and we liked the fact that it was a bit different and not part of a chain We had driven 800km and arrived at 3.00 pm, and expected to be able to check in then -we could not check in until 6.00 pm. Although it did say this on the booking information it is so unusual we had missed this point!! If you want to rest on the afternoon you arrive -book a different hotel!!
Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and set in a very pretty town square. There was only one restaurant in the town open and the town was under construction/repair so some roads were closed. Probably just because of the French holidays in August.
