Pros: The property is very nice and pieceful. Would definitly recommend it to those that are looking for a place to escape for a weekend. We had a very nice bathroom and airco that was more than welcome considering +35°C outside. The bed was confortable. YUMMY breakfast!!!!!! Arriving late in the evening we weren't sure we could still eat something in the area but the owner made a small dinner on-the-go, with organic products, that was very tasty.
Cons: Nothing major, but as suggestions it would be nice to have: - an anti-mosquitos plug in the room. - a full-size mirror

Pros: Beautiful B&B, an old house that has been renovated, bringing it to modern times, while keeping its flair and vintage feel. It's very close to downtown and a few minutes walk from the Avenue du Champagne and that's where you want to be! The owners are such great people, very friendly and welcoming. Upon our arrival we received our first taste of a local champagne, which was such a sweet touch. The breakfast is great, everything is fresh and delicious.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.

Pros: Loved everything about the place. The host was exceptionally friendly, warm and helpful. Breakfast was served with class. Definetly recommend the place.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best aspect of Cour 1865 was our host, Veronique. Such great help with directions, reservations (restaurants, Champagne houses, bikes from the office of Tourisme). Veronique even tolerated my very rusty French. This is a bed and breakfast style accommodation (Chambre d'Hôtes). Wonderful breakfast in the morning with fresh baguette, patisserie, cheese, fruit, coffee and more. Our room was large and comfortable with a large shower and separate bath tub. Windows can be opened to let in the aromas of fermenting Champagne from across the street. Pierry is on the southern side of Epernay, just near the Cotes de Blanc. It was a great location to explore the vineyards by e-bike. Get a bike map from the Tourisme office. There are also maps online that Veronique found for us. Our room was upstairs. If you have any issues climbing with luggage, I would recommend reaching our to Veronique in advance. It was not a problem for us, but I could see someone older being less comfortable in that situation. Just ask and you will be helped. We highly recommend Cour 1865! We would absolutely stay there again. Merçi merçi merçi!
Cons: Nothing. Wonderful Chambre d'Hôtes!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, very good brakfast, fine atmosphere, safe parking and nice area. We really liked the place!
Cons: The road is really close so you can hear some noise in the evening and morning (but night time was luckily quiet). We had a ground floor room and we didn't have any view from our room (a nice view would have made the room perfect!).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Immaculate rooms and bathrooms set around owner's house. Breakfast dinning room in main house beautifully set out. Delicious breakfast, charming helpful host.

Pros: The accommodation was stylish, modern and well equipped. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The highlight was Jaqueline, our host, who was very knowledgable and informative, and took time to make recommendations to ensure we had an excellent time. Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was just great, very spacious and well decorated, all pretty new. Breakfast was excellent, with a large choice of salted and sweet stuff, maybe I will add some fruits, but didn't really miss it neither. And of course, the champagne tasting was nice, and we bought many bottles of the excellent family champagne they produce
Cons: Nothing to say

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most generous and warm welcome. The house is beautiful and nothing felt like too much effort for our warm and welcoming hosts. It's a beautiful location, and our room had stunning views over the vineyards. Enjoying a glass of the owners champagne in their garden was an absolute treat.

Pros: Great location. Spacious rooms. Friendly welcome.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything especially Madam Stephanie she was so lovely and helpful.
6.7 Good
Pros: Great location but you’ll need to pay for taxis to to Ay or Epernay Lovely rooms. No tv no proper showers Breakfast room unatmospheric and poorly laid out. Breakfast choices good and very French. Beautiful outside space with excellent views Lovely and quiet location- no traffic noise etc
Cons: Rats in the ceiling void caused us a couple of sleepless nights. No plan to resolve issue they are hoping that they will just go away Very unlikely!
7.9 Good
Pros: Nicely decorated and spacious room with good facilities. Lovely to have a walk in closet! Good breakfast selection with plenty of coffee. A very warm welcome with plenty of local information about the area and champagne tasting opportunities. A very unhurried and peaceful atmosphere throughout.
Cons: The room needed a full length mirror! Nice touch to make picnic utensils available in the room, but I did wonder where you would go to purchase the food to accompany them!? The driveway needed repair work. There were some very large pot holes!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Setting and views were excellent - very remote and quiet. No television or radio which added to the sense of calm. However, very good (free) Wi-Fi signal in all rooms. Staff attentive and responsive.
Cons: Breakfast choice was good but limited in quantity (extra croissants not available). Storage space for clothes in our room again limited - but sufficient for a three night stay (just)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice Place with friendly and helpful hostess/owner. Excellent breakfast, which we enjoyed in the garden. Recently refurbished and nicely decorated, comfortable rooms. Recommended!
Cons: Both my wife and I woke up in the middle of the night from sounds coming from inside the walls. Obviously rodents (or our neighbours had a very active animal in their room - not likely). We did not see any visible signs inside the room, which was very clean and well kept. Sleep was however disturbed by the presence of these uninvited ”guests”.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely comfy bed, really friendly and helpful staff and yummy breakfast

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice owners. The dinner served was great. There are many champagne-houses closed to this place, even it was a Sunday we were there, our owner made it possible for us to visit them!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room. Breakfast.
Cons: Patricia was helpful and friendly. Lovely traditional breakfast with homemade preserves
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, in a new building. Well designed and finished, it provided an excellent layout of comfortable bedrooms above a spacious common area.
Cons: It was great in all aspects. Finding it was the hardest bit, as it is set back from then road in a narrow driveway so it took a couple of passes up and down the road to find. The village is quiet: once you have found it, everything is easy from there on.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location and no noise
Cons: You listed property with pool but did not have a pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent. It seemed like a converted wing of their house or something but was done very well. It was in a very quiet little town between some cornfields and champagne vineyards. The hosts ate breakfast with us and spoke enough english to get our point across. Lovely couple
Cons: Finding something to eat nearby- it was about a 20 minute drive to the closest restaurants.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very well decorated and appointed rooms. Very friendly owner. Nice secluded location with lovely courtyard.
Cons: Unfortunately I forgot to book and evening meal. My fault entirely. The local village has limited places to eat. We ended up at the local pizza place. Had a great pizza so friends not too upset!!!
7.9 Good
Pros: Good size room nice feel
Cons: Location from restaurants
Le Château de Mon Père - Sézanne - Building
8
9.2 Excellent (124 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Magical place. Great attention to detail.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Calm, peaceful, lovely dog. Greeted by daughter - she spoke English so well. Bed comfy all clean and was able to microwave a meal I had prepared day before so we didn’t have to find an eatery. Shower good and hot, cool refreshing breeze and so quiet. Breakfast lovely
Cons: If I have to find a negative it would just be maybe handwash as only 2 sachets of shower gel but we managed to save some for hand washing, and a hand towel would have been great, but these would not prevent us from returning
8.8 Excellent
Pros: What a gem! Beautiful old Château in lovely grounds would definitely recommend.
Cons: Lack of nearby restaurants
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay, made very welcome by the owners. Rooms very clean.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous stay at Chateau de mon Pere. The place is a synonym for tranquility, especially if you ask for a bottle of champagne from the host's cooperative. The building and rooms are so full of character you can hardly find anything better. Well done for renovating such a beautiful chateau. Highly recommended for a nice visit to Champagne and daily trips to the surrounding vineyards.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quiet country environment.
Cons: Nowhere to hang clothes. No soap. Shared kitchen not clean - with ants.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money for a castle in the countryside with nice Bath, Bed and atmosphere. Lovely wooden Bridge crossing by car.
Cons: It is more a B&B than a Hotel so, obviously do not expect hotel services (No TV etc) not a problem for me but people should be aware before. Nearest town is a good 10 min drive also. Those negative points would be negative if the room was charged 80+€ a night. But for this price, it is really fair :)

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful chateau in lovely grounds and a small village with nice walks into the vineyards
Cons: The tiny glass of champagne as an aperitif which cost 15 euros for about 90 ml I would say.

Villa Louis Victor - Dizy - Bedroom
10
9.0 Excellent (562 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Villa Louis Victor in Dizy, you'll be in the suburbs, within a 5-minute drive of Cité du Champagne and Moet et Chandon. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything just perfect. Will definitely visit them again! Such a nice place.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bedroom was spacious, light and well equipped with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities which are a real bonus in France. The location was convenient for visiting champagne houses in Epernay and Reims. Just across the road is a typical bar/tabac with very friendly staff and local people. Plus there are lots of good restaurants in Epernay - a ten minute drive away.
6.7 Good
Pros: It is very clean, the bed is very comfortable.
Cons: Our rooms had no window to open, the room was stuffy. At 6:30 in the morning we were woken by the noise from the road outside. The chairs were uncomfortable. The shower stream was tiny. The breakfast is only from 8:30 so you must skip it to get an early start. There is a coffee machine but there was no coffee.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Position, food, kindness
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Cons: really country style so no restaurants around
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great for exploring the area, had a big room with a kitchen. It was quiet at night. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, even let me practice my limited french. Breakfast was great, they had a wide selection of items, great way to start the day.
Cons: Really can't think of anything. We were really pleased with this hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast first class, great choice. Part of AD Coutelas champagne house, so good opportunity for tasting!
Cons: We had Millesime suite, 2 bedrooms with shared bathroom. Unfortunately means the people in the large bedroom have to go through the small bedroom to access the bathroom, which is not great. Would be much better if another door to bathroom was immediately after the suite entrance, to allow better access, or maybe even divide the very large bathroom into 2 smaller shower rooms.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved the area but did not do it justice as one of our party had broken down which consequently affected our plans. However our host was very helpful ordering taxis etc She did everything she could to help in a difficult situation, She offered us champagne on arrival and offered a tour of her cellars, which we weren't able to accept this occasion but we would love to return to enjoy the experience more. The breakfast offered was excellent.
Cons: The towels were well used and rather scratchy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location fantastic, beautiful area, would come again!
Cons: Spotlessly Clean, great hospitality, would recommend to friends!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything, fantastic peaceful sleep, naturally cool and very quiet. Excellent room with comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfast good with good selection of local produce and a glass of champagne. We arrived very late due to traffic and all was locked up but after speaking with a neighbour the owner came out and greeted us, absolutely fantastic and very accommodating.
Cons: The location was in a delightful village some way out but hard to find as very rural.
7.9 Good
Pros: Welcome champagne drink, free coffee tea, visit to their champagne making area, owner extremely hospitable, good breakfast and very clean.
Cons: no meals other than breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, very comfortable and an excellent breakfast. Our hostess was a jolly lady and was very helpful in every respect.
Cons: The weather!!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location - staff - breakfast - visit of the cellars - familiarity’s atmosphere
Cons: Church with the bell at 7 a.m
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed, great location, lovely hosts!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location to stay if you like small towns. We loved the care Florence took to show us around the champagne making facility. The breakfasts were beautiful! The room was cosy and very clean and the owner very friendly.
Cons: Vauciennes has no shops or places to eat, so you need to drive 3-5 km for a restaurant and around 5-7 km to a supermarket. This is not necessarily a negative, but you need to be aware of it. It would have been nice to have somewhere to sit outside to drink a glass of wine or picknick. There was no real garden for guests and the attic with the 4 guest rooms does not have any great windows to enjoy a view. The wifi does not work upstairs in the rooms or common area.
Les P'tits Biscuits - Avize - Bedroom
12
9.4 Excellent (31 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The cottage "Les P'tits Biscuits" is a pretty cottage completely renovated in the heart of the Champagne region, in the village of Cramant 10 minutes from Epernay can accommodate 4 travelers. You will enjoy a beautiful fitted kitchen and its "bar" space, all on one level overlooking a private terrace. You will also have the privilege of enjoying the large spacious shower room. A bakery is located 50 meters walk from the house, parking is easy and free in front of housing.
6.3 Good
Pros: the personnel the cleanliness
Cons: -The bedding and bed quality plus the fact that the tittle of the property is written on the wall over it -with large characters- - there were no body-towels and no cosmetic products whatsoever
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Brand new, specious, modern and very clean accomodation in a charming village. Well equiped kitchen (stove, oven, toaster, coffee maker, microwave) and all you utensils you need... Outside space with garden furniture. Quite and relaxing. Great and friendly host.
Cons: Not a major problem, parking outside the entrance - on the main road.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious. Modern fittings. Well equipped and a washing machine! Steep internal stairs that lead to big bedroom and very big bathroom. Close to tabac and Boulanger. A working village makes it interesting. Elodie was delightful even though we speak poor French and she speaks little English. It was great having a base in this hillside village.
Roulotte la Dominique - Romery - Building
13
9.1 Excellent (62 reviews)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Roulette is clean and reasonably comfortable (although could do with some decent pillows rather than the dozen cushions that are on the bed). The owners are very friendly and hospitable and gave me champagne as a welcome and good advice on where to go to eat. The hot tub is brilliant! I was staying in Romery to go cycling in the hills and the very powerful jacuzzi was perfect afterwards.
Cons: The only issue with Romery is that there are no restaurants in walking distance - in fact, the nearest place for an evening meal is in Épernay - so not great if you want to go and sample local wines with dinner since you have to drive. (on the other hand - there are about a dozen champagne producers within walking distance so for champagne tasting it's not a problem)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding experience! The hosts looked after us as their family. Roulotte, whirlpool, garden - everything was perfect. The only negative is all people who gave less than 10 points to this accommodation and had pointless comments on it - shame on you.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful accomodation and has everything you need. Enjoyed the hot tub and lounging in the garden. When we arrived we were offered champagne from their sons vineyard. Was very lovely! Their English isn't good but so much better than my french haha. Google translate was helpful! They were very accommodating however they sat with us for breakfast which we found a little awkward being watched eating (they meant well) Overall I would reccomend here to anyone! It's beautiful and peaceful.
7.9 Good
Pros: our hosts were very welcoming & friendly, we were given a lovely glass of champagne on our arrival & a tour of their sons champagne house was arranged at short notice. The accommodation was quirky and comfortable we would definitely recommend the champagne & accommodation
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hospitality in a lovely quiet village in the heart of the vineyards.
Cons: The price was a little on the high side
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A quirky place to stay. Compact but had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Hot tub was lovely after a long journey and super friendly host and hostess.
Cons: Not sure about the black toilet paper. A bit too quirky?!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owners were simply lovely and welcoming. We were greeted with a drink of champagne, and what’s more they joined us. Our French is awful and their English minimal but through Google translator we got along fine. They then allowed us to finish the bottle alone when sat in the hot-tub. In the morning we were given a tour of the champagne cellar and this was also lovely. We ended up with three generations of the family with us. We look forward to returning, they were simply the nicest hosts during our trip to France!
Cons: Unfair to say anything really, the room and bathroom are not huge but we knew that when we booked. If you want oppulant comfort then don’t book but if you want to stay in a delightful painted caravan with the use of a hot tub then give it a try!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owners were superfriendly. A little apero when we arrived, a nice talk with them about the region. Loves it!
Cons: There was a lot of decoration in the room, and not to much space to put you toiletries.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was terrific for visiting family owned or run houses of champagne. It was all so quiet and very restful the jacuzzi was outstanding. The caravan was very private and unique. the grounds were very pretty the view from the porch was nice and the use of the kitchen facilities was also terrific. Our hosts Patrice and Sylvette were ideal for B&B very warm enthusiastic and interested in our travels and in communicating with our broken French and their English. We would love to stay here again and spend all our time in Champagne.
Cons: Our suitcases were on the floor and we would have liked a folding luggage rack.

Cons: The room was packed with the overwhelming smell of air fresheners to hide the damp.
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great and we were waited on Great service!!!
Cons: The room was small and the stairs were very steep and had a shared bathroom which was downstairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very warm and extremely welcoming. The property was a lovely home with a fantastic garden. A couple of highlights: 1. The host drove us to our restaurant in Epernay when we asked about a Taxi. 2. The mini bar was the best stocked mini bar I've ever seen and it was cheap, 3 FULL bottles of champagne priced between €28.00 - €32.00, beer €2.00 and bottles of Evian €1.50. and, 3. In the evening there are Toads in the garden that make the most unique sounds, like a siren, it was a great experience. Very secure parking and breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend this property!!
Cons: Nothing!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful, unexpected garden. Friendly hosts. Private, gated parking. Lovely breakfast.
Cons: The room was crowded with frogs of all kinds. No space to put your own things. Even toiletpaper was green. :/ The room felt airtight during night. No possibility to have door open. No window at all.

Cons: The elevator kept some noise during the night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The building was nice and tastefully modified without losing its character. Staff were warm and very helpful.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was fine.
7.1 Good
Cons: Attic room was not very comfortable too much time spent ducking roof beams.
7.0 Good
Pros: Room was clean and the location was great.
Cons: The breakfast was very average - not what I would expect in France and coffee could be better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located right along Avenue de Champagne with plenty of dining options as well. Its proximity to the train station was a plus too!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with great staff - central and convenient.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was too hot and if I opened the window the noise of the fans outside was bad, so we were very hot in our room. The air con was not on so the unit just circulated hot air.
Cons: heating in room, see above.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful and changed the location of the room when they realized that my mother (83 years old) had problem to walk in the stairs. Next to it is a very good wine producer Dauby which I also can recommend with warm heart.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The lady attending was very helpful, professional and always answered our questions
Cons: The location is simply perfect.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Parking in a private garage with electric vehicle charging- very helpful.
6.3 Good
Pros: This is a beautiful castle like hotel with parking and indoor pool and really nice rooms. But looks are deceiving. Soon as you walk into your room you're blown away . The room is very spacious but it's also very loud. The bathroom was clean with a nice big shower. Beautiful couch and nice table and chairs. I was very happy to be able to watch my IPad on the TV. They also had a mini fridge which was nice. The parking garage is pretty cool too. After that it's all looks.
Cons: The bed was literally one of the worst I've ever tried to sleep on. I really don't get why hotel owners don't understand that the bed is the absolute most important thing in a hotel room. When people don't get good sleep they don't function as well as if they got a good night sleep. We also tried to get the host to make us reservation in town for dinner and surprisingly he would not, not sure why. I stayed in 8 hotels on this trip and this hotel is by far the least comfortable. This was the only property we didn't truly enjoy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast very adequate
Cons: Warning about transport if you have no car
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the outside area at the hotel, especially on a warm Autumn evening to sit outside and enjoy the local champagne! Good range of food for breakfast and excellent service from the staff. The parking garage was ideal especially being under cover.

7.0 Good
Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: There was nobody available on arrival or until breakfast. There was nowhere to eat in the town.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and comfortable surroundings
Cons: Better lighting in the bedroom
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and good bed.
Cons: The room is very small for the cost and you have to be there before 6pm, which can be difficult if you are travelling.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and beautiful B&B with wonderful rooms. We slept in the family room which was very spacious. The beds were very good as well. The breakfast was more than sufficient with enough choice. They have around 20 types of home made jams, they prepared us an egg every morning. Very convenient that you could park the car on the property itself. Very good champagne, unfortunately they did not have time to show us around on the property because the harvest was about to start (which we totally understand). Nevertheless, we would advise everybody to stay here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay! Lovely room, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast- perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast buffet included excellent cold meats and cheeses. It was an unexpected bonus to have eggs cooked for us by the friendly staff. They also advised which restaurants were open for dinner and phoned to book a table for us. The glass of Cjampagne on arrival was a nice touch. The price was higher thsn we usually pay, but the quality justified it.
Cons: The weather. But the locals were welcoming the first rains after a long dry spell so I forgave them for that. And, to be fair, it stopped draining when we walked the few hundred metres to the restaurant for dinner.

Pros: Everything about this hotel is perfection from the rooms to the bar and breakfast is amazing !
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We were given a great welcome on arrival which we noted and appreciated. The hotel is beautifully furnished to a high standard in a traditional style. If returning to Epernay we would certainly want to stay in this hotel. The hotel is a few minutes drive from the centre of town. For restaurants, you drive or taxi into the centre, all of which was arranged for us by hotel reception.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything it's a perfect place to stay. This is a repeat stay for us.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely restored old building. Beautiful room and garden. Plush presentation. Comfortable slippers, which we were given extra on exit, as well as a bottle of water.
Cons: No restaurant on site. Breakfast supplies low when we came to take eggs and bacon - we could have asked as as we heard other people do, but it’s the sense of generosity lacking in this. Only one bottle of water supplied in a room of two people. Rather pricey.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was close to town centre.
Cons: I booked a 'pay at the property' rate like I usually do. However upon booking, the hotel charged the full amount to my credit card. And then prior to checkin they charged the full amount plus EUR 100 again, and then they took the payment at the end. So essentially my card was charged three times for a one night stay. On both occasions when I questioned it, the hotel just told me to speak to my bank. I am still fighting with my bank to get the payments reversed on my statement.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best hotels that I stayed at.
Cons: Change daily breakfast menu.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a perfect place to stay - very clean, comfortable, cozy and warm house, fully equipped. Very friendly and seamless check-in. Excellent location for exploring the region and tastings.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The house was extremely well equipped, incredibly clean and felt luxurious. The hosts were very helpful and the check in and check out process seemless. The huge garden was a big hit with the children and the hot tub similarly for mum and dad.
Cons: While the scenery and garden are stunning, it's difficult to go for a walk/run in the local area, so you really need a car or bike to get about.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic, modern and beautiful property in a very convenient location. Will be back when I come back to Champagne. Beautiful gardens
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Gite was spacious, modern and clean. I was not expecting the sauna, Jacuzzi and gym equipment. Hurley the sheep dog was a massive hit with the kids.
