The room was comfortable a and had a couch It was worth it.....
The soap they provided was way too small for anybody to use. So I had to buy my own.
They will tell you in person that certain services are included (breakfast, parking) but once you go to check out they have charged you for it.
The service form the staff made me feel lied to. Long wait times just to ask a question due to other upset customers asking questions. They told me that free continental breakfast was available in the restaurant but once seated was informed that we needed to pay. Parking was made to seem included but once I went to check out they charged me per night. Overall will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
Location of hotel was good. everything nearby
rooms are small. washroom sink was blocked. parking is not free and very expensive.
front desk staff charming and informative.
Peeling wallpaper, toilet backed up easy, musty smell, seemed humid, trash in elevator, little or no parking
Easy in. Easy out. Parking in basement. Room was clean. Beds comfy. Great price for last minute. Close to everything and public transit.
Bathroom is nothing special, but clean enough.
Value for money spent, clean room
Very accomodating to early check-in. Room was very clean and comfortable.
Not enough bath products
It was just a few blocks away from old Montreal and Chinatown - very convenient. I appreciated the refrigerator in the room.
The hallways to the rooms are dingy and no view from the windows.
Clean, comfortable beds, very relaxed atmosphere, close to everything, valet parking was good/safe, food at the restaurant downstairs was delicious, it was a great stay and great value! Great hotel at a great price!
Would have liked to have free breakfast, and the reception staff were rude/snobby to my anglophone travel companion, talking in french and making fun of him to his face. Not cool. But even tho a couple of the reception staff weren't that nice, the hotel was amazing and I would totally stay there again! Oh yeah, and there's no pay per view and not much in way of tv channels, but if you're out and about in the city the whole time, who cares!
Hotel was nice enough, rooms seemed to have an empty feeling, maybe because mine was big but with little furniture. Beds were great, would prefer HD TV set rather than very old CRT TV. Bar and cafe were nice.
Staff was nice, although desk staff didn't always have answers when I asked about brunches, but the bartender was extremely helpful and even went out of his way to find a half-dozen brunch spots which he requested the desk clerk to find. I found that the desk clerks didn't really know much about the dining/bars in the immediate area. Next day when I left I was nearly out of gas and asked the person who gets the cars, but he didn't understand me at first, then didn't know where I could go for gas.
Great central location and ease of access to/from highway. Lounge bartender/manager was terrific, and made the stay very memorable!
No dedicated parking (public lot down the block)
proximity to shooping centers and trains
Local teephone calls are not free
I loved the bed and pillows - I have a hard time sleeping away from home but not this time! The Alegro Restaurant attached to the hotel made it convenient for meals or a quick cup of coffee. Very, very pleasant and helpful staff.
The mirrors were not all that convenient if you are a short person like my friend is. Really could use a full length mirror - maybe in the closet so it is out of the way.
Very hepful and welcoming hotel staff. They provide maps and tips
At the rate I paid this was excellent value in Montreal. The bed was extremely confortable.
The phone would ring every few hours with no one there. Message light would be on when I returned to the room with no messages (and no on trying to call me). The big piece of furniture that holds the television makes it impossible to see the television from anywhere in the room except the bed right in front of it.
