Pros: # A really good view. # very clean. # Comfortable bed.
Cons: # The toilet was not fixed, so when you stood up, it started to move, too. # The breakfast was simple and typical French breakfast in that area( I guess). It tasted good but we thought it was bit weird was that we got only goat cheese (none of us ate goat cheese at all).

Pros: Great views and ideal location for our needs. Comfortable bed and large shower. Lovely breakfast with home made preserves and locally sourced juices and cherries.
Cons: No wardrobe in the room. The room was very hot and could do with a fan. Voiles would be good at the doors instead of curtains for some privacy, so you could get ready in natural light and not need to close the curtains or shutters and put the light on.
Pros: Lovely place! Quiet and with a beautiful view of the fields and village. We arrived late, almost 11PM, and greeted with a smile. Nice breakfast, including coffee, juice, fresh bread and pastries, yogurt and some fruit. Good night's rest on the way from Lyon to Limoges.
Cons: Our 2.5 year old's bed was located in an upstairs gallery that required climbing a high ladder, which I did not notice upon reservation. My husband ended up there instead...
Pros: Amazing hostess, great amenities, first class fixtures and accommodations.
Cons: No ceiling fan to cool the loft area.

Pros: The hotel has a fresh new owner, who values the customer as "guests" and tried their best to comfort us.. We stayed in a family room which is bigger than any family room we have seen.. It was sparkling clean.. The breakfast is good and satisfactory.. But I need to repeat myself about the lovely couple who are the new owners.. They were amazing, helpful and friendly.. I'll definitely stay in la Brévenne, next time.. The new owners renovating the restaurant and I really want to eat a dinner in that garden.. The hotel is outside the Lyon, in an amazing nature... quite, comfortable and fresh..
Cons: The one and only negative thing, if it's counted as negative, the smell of fresh painting.. They are renovating the restaurant section.. But, I'm looking forward to stay and eat there...
