Pros: Breakfast was very nice with good croissants and homemade jam. Room and bed were very comfortable. Nice garden and area to sit out was comfortable. There was a pottery which was a hobby for the owner.
Cons: The soap was poor and stuck to the shower soap holder. I would have liked a boiled egg at breakfast but this was not offered. Fresh fruit also was not offered which was a pity.

Pros: The owners were very welcoming. We loved the animals: donkeys, ducks, chickens, sheep, goats and beautiful cat! Great continental breakfast and plenty of it - excellent coffee!! Rooms were attractive and very clean. We played boules on their purpose made court and there were large bottles of cold coke and water on arrival which were very welcome in the 34 degrees heat. Good sized fridge, microwave and a couple of electric rings so that we could cook a simple meal - utensils and adequate pots and pans as well.

6.8 Good
Pros: Breakfast good. Staff very helpful and spoke a little English which helped. Lovely comfortable beds. Very spacious rooms. The hotel had loads of character.
Cons: The twin room for our disabled member of the party was sited on the second floor. The two non-disabled guests were allocated the ground floor disabled room (double). We had to swap rooms and the hotel made up the other single bed and brought more towels. It was not a huge problem for us but could have been for other guests faced with the same situation. The main criticism was that there were no blinds or curtains in either the bedroom or bathroom. A complete lack of privacy. I would not stay here again.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: This former hotel is run by the owner as an aparthotel. The twin room I believed I had booked turned out to be a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. As I slept in the sofa bed it is possible to say that it was comfortable enough but less good than a proper bed would have been. There was secure parking for our cycles and the owner made us feel welcome. However, despite being Friday night, there was no food available, nor any restaurants within walking distance. Luckily for us, the excellent boulangerie across the road from the hotel was still open and we were able to make up a light meal from their shelves, which went beyond just bread. We were also able to buy a bottle of wine. Breakfast was OK but not plentiful. As a stopping off point, it did its job, but I wouldn't choose this as a destination.
Cons: We needed a room with twin beds but none were available at any time. The sofabed was OK but not as comfortable as a proper bed woudl have been.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Only used it as a one night stopover but it was perfect from that point of view. Car was close to room, check in was painless despite my French being terrible, hassle free, clean, comfortable, just what I needed after a long drive.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location.
Cons: Dishes were not properly clean. There was a very intense smell to cigarette smoke all over the root and in the bed sheets. Beds were not comfortable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is very comfortable, very clean and quiet. The hosts are amazing. The Breakfast is simple, satisfying and delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at La Thibaud for two days while attending the MotoGP in Le Mans and after a short tour of the Loire Valley. The property is easily accessible from both Tours and Le Mans. Yane and Christophe were lovely and warm hosts. Our arrival plan changed quite frequently and we arrived late in the evening, but Yane and Christophe were very communicative and accommodating and even invited us to the restaurant where they were having dinner that evening. The bungalow is across from the main house and is very private and cozy. Given our experience in Paris with tiny boutique hotel rooms, it was nice to have a loft set-up with plenty of space. Yane prepared a simple but delicious breakfast in the main house each morning - when the weather is nice, breakfast is on her lovely patio overlooking the grounds. They have a cute dog and cat, who politely kept us company. The property is an oasis and exactly as shown in the pictures, with idyllic sitting areas among the trees and flowers and a beautiful little horse farm and we enjoyed a couple of nice strolls in the gorgeous Spring weather. Yane and Christophe were very friendly and a joy to spend time with and talk to. We definitely recommend La Thibaud and hope to return soon!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Owner was thoughtful and helpful making sure we had a comfortable stay. Relaxing and independent accommodation

Pros: Amazing place! Fabulous friendly hosts with all home cooked breakfast included in the price...jam to die for! The room was like a small apartment, with all the comforts and drink making facilities too. The evening meal was superb and also local wine which was a very reasonable price. We ate all the meals outside overlooking the lake. The peace and calm of the hotel with the small lake, black swans and the amazing spa pool which was big enough to swim in plus the sauna make this a true retreat where you can recharge your batteries! Also very pet friendly and lots of walks nearby. We would return to Le Moulin Calme in a heartbeat!
