Location and Price I found two bed bugs in my room in the morning. I am still paranoid about whether I took them on my trip or home with me.
Good and pleasant
Close to airport. Just needed a few hours sleep after landing at 1:30am
There was hassle-free parking, the room was really nice for the price I paid, and the neighborhood looked peaceful. Only stayed one night, so can't say much.
Rooms were clean and price was best in the area for a clean room. No toiletries beside 2 small bars of soap. At Check-out I did ask and was told by front desk they keep toiletries at the front desk and would be glad to give them to guests if they were to ask for them. It would have been nice if guests are told this in advance as this is the only Motel/Hotel that I have stayed in that did not automatically place toiletries in the room.
No carpet. Minimal furniture. It was pretty stripped down but clean. I had to hail my luggage up three flights of steps.
The upgraded look It's like staying in an aluminum box, every noise is magnified by ten including the drunm couple havimv sex. Woke up the second floor and I was stuck sharing a wall
I have never left a review for anything online before, but I had to with this motel. I was absolutely shocked by how nice it was, especially considering the price. The rooms were tasteful and kind of art deco, with hardwood floors and good soundproofing. It smelled fine and was incredibly clean. The staff were courteous and helpful. It's also located nearish to several places to eat or get deliveries from. Nice big TV. This was absolutely what I needed during an otherwise awful trip. The coffee was pretty terrible, but there's a Starbucks about a mile and a half away.
The location was convenient and quiet with nice views, the staff was friendly and polite, and it was a great value for what we paid. The front desk clerk saw me put out a cigarette before I walked inside and seemed curious as to why I reserved a non smoking room. I told him I disliked the smell of smoking rooms and assured him I would go outside. When we got to our room, I was happy to see it was on the first floor, right next to a cozy outside smoking area. It wouldn't have been a big deal to walk but the gesture was very kind. No toiletries besides soap (but I'm now seeing you have to ask the front desk and they'll gladly provide you with them), and the bedding was light but I expected that and brought a blanket.
It was better than expected. Clean, simple, no frills, but price was right and just what I needed. Close to family I was visiting. No shampoo no blow dryer towels were small bedding was thin (luckily it was unseasonably warm). I didn't expect too much but was happy it was comfortable and clean. Overall, very good.
Best price for the value near the airport. Rooms are a bit sparse, but very clean.
Price was great. Easy check in. Hotel was very clean and bed very comfortable. Nice staff. Ideally located near airport.
It was a good enough place to stay the night. The owner was very helpful. The guy checking me in did not know what he was doing at all. Would not get help when I asked. Told me I had to pay for anther room after I already paid for the one I had. Then after 30 mins he finally got the owner. He came in and found my reservation no problem and very nice thank you very much to the owner but needs to get better help.
clean sheets, pillow cases, towels, bathroom . close to airport with free shuttle lots of places in room that were dusty, hit with chemical smell as soon as entered room, general feeling of less than full effort in keeping the whole place clean
For the price and it being Pittsburgh, I was expect to pull up and go into a worn down motel. The room to be old and outdated. But instead I walked into a beautiful front desk! And the room was even better! So many new updates. Clean. Quiet. Private. I loved it! Definitely know where I'll be staying whenever I need to go to the Pittsburgh area again! And a restaurant called Armstrong's close by has AMAZING food
Renovations are underway this will help with the cleanliness. The rooms are clean just old making them seem dirty. Breakfast was poorly stocked. when things ran out for the sunday I was there nothing got refilled until a customer went and did it right in front of the employee. They didn't put out enough food for all the customers that showed up.

The room was pretty clean. The train comes by every hour and blows its whistle extremely loud. The staff was very rude!!
I was a little bit nervous about staying in a cheap motel but for the price it was great!
The owners were great!!! The rain that day ! Lol

It was reasonably clean. Parking was free. We changed our stay from two nights to one and they gave us a refund for the second night. A very loud train whistle woke us up several times during the night, so getting a good night's sleep was difficult. The curtains did not block the outdoor light at night. Getting a wifi signal was difficult & when we finally did it was quite slow.
Plenty of storage space for your luggage, and really nice that a refrigerator is included in the room. In order to control the temperature In the room you had to stand on a chair to reach the air conditioner that was placed up near the ceiling. You could turn it on and off with the switch on the wall but in order to change the temperature settings you had

Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. Definitely met my expectation. Worth the money.
nothing the room was dirty and smelly. it was also very hard to find
Bed was comfortable, liked the wood looking floor, better then carpets that most hotels and motels have. gentleman on the evening we checked in was very nice. shower stall had black stuff coming up from drain, was backing up, shower head too low, and corner shower stall too small for the average person, no hair drier, parking lot had alot to be desired, seemed more like a truck stop truckers motel. im sure used for quickies for local people.Girl at desk in morning of june 22 needed an attitude adjustment.
the door in my room was hard to open and close all the way
It was extremely clean and remodeled. Staff was very friendly. Easily the best value in the pittsburgh area. Didn't bother me, but the floor was wooden, shower was very low, and no shampoo...but for the price this is an extreme value and I will be staying there again!
The people who ran the motel were extremely nice, really, they couldn't have been kinder. They did the best they could with that place. The experience of staying at the motel was excruciating- the people in the next room had their tv on all night, and the walls were so thin I could also hear all their arguments as well as the programs. I didn't sleep much, of course. The motel is in a very bad neighbourhood, and all night there were people outside our door horking and spitting, and drinking and swearing, There was also hardly any water coming out of the showerhead. It was horrible, but we were stuck there because we had reservations and it was late.
Very friendly staff There was a roach in the room and very shady people staying there. we felt unsafe and actually left a day early.
The staff was very friendly. I got a good nights sleep once I was able to fall asleep. The fan in the bathroom was very loud.
Clean easy. Cheap. Tiny shower. Made for 5 ft or smaller. No shampoo...
The beds were extremely comfortable. The room was clean. The heat had been on full blast when we got there. The room was at least 80-90 degrees. But at least we knew the heat worked!
The employees were very nice. The room was clean enough but all the contents were very old and worn. It was off of the highway enough that it was quiet. For $49.99 I wasn't expecting a whole lot. It definitely screamed cheap motel. Absolutely no amenities other than a bar of soap. The shower head was down so low in the shower my 6 foot son had to wash his hair on his knees. Room was clean but old.
No tub. Only showe with low pressure and small stall. Had to cancel next nights stay and go to Coreapolis, PA Motel 6 which was much better.
I loved that the bed was very large and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We checked in late in the evening. The hotel was further away from the airport than expected. The map showed that it was practically next to the airport. The hotel was on the far side of the airport.
The hotel is cheap and closer to the airport. Our nonsmoking room stank of smoke although there was a no smoking sign on the door. I called the front desk to see if we could get another room but she said she could only come spray the room with odor neutralizer that would get rid of the smoke smell. I declined, as I was suffering from a cold and thought that the chemicals would irritate my respiratory system, besides the fact that the spray must not work very well. If it worked, the room wouldn't stink when we arrived, right? There weren't enough outlets in the room to plug in the tv, lamp, and coffee maker where they were paved so I moved the coffee maker to a bedside table where there was a power strip. The floor by the power strip was covered with cigarette ash. Gross.
I liked the Price and the fact it was off on its own. The driveway has a huge pothole, they have free internet due to them stealing from neighboring hotel, no poke stops, no elevator, and only one way to top floor.
At least there was a microwave oven in my room. The hole in the wall. The broken desk chair. Standing water left in the shower tub. The moldy mildew-soap-scum left all over the shower tub enclosure.
Everything in the room (T.V. towels, blanket etc...) is old and dirty. Bathroom plumbing is poor. Computer in lobby does not provide internet. Internet in room is very slow. Complimentary breakfast is very minimal. No customer service, unfriendly Would not recommend staying here. Surprised that it is associated with Kayak and Expedia etc...
I did not like a single thing. Eveything. The linen and towels were stained, the room smelled like a meth lab, the dresser had a broken drawer, patched holes in the wall also. I'm pretty sure there was a huge drug deal going on in the room next to us. My girlfriend and I stayed for about an hour. Most of that hour was spent looking for a new place to stay. Worst place ever.
Notta... Upon check in, the young Indian desk clerk gave us a 12 PM check out time. The next morning we were harrasssed several times starting at 11 AM [by a guy who looked like Boris Karloff] about "...get out - check out is 11 AM!" We explained that we in no way wished to stay as long as we had [Steelers had the city booked solid]! I'd " rather drink muddy water - sleep in a hollow log..." The water was brown...
Very clean. The bed was uncomfortable.
mostly good old shower
Quiet location , good value.
The guy at the front desk was very friendly and knew how to make change which was helpful to us. The hotel room was dirty, small blood stains on bed, under mattress ripped with stuffing coming out of it, the vending machines did not work, the bed was way too small, motel 6 right next door looked much nicer and advertised a cheaper price but we couldn't cancel our reservations after 12:00 when we saw the condition of the room. we tried to make the best of a bad situation.
It was near to the international airport, the room was clean and big enough. there was supposed to have breakfast but that consisted in a coffee...and the soundproofing between the rooms doesn't exist (but it was quiet enough to sleep the night we were here).
Nothing at all Everything. Dirty, unfriendly, room freezing, bed not flat, linens dirty. A horrible place that should not be associated with trace lodge or Kayak
clean room, felt safe, right off the interstate, friendly manager very basic, if that's what you're looking for, it's a good place to stay with adequate price/quality ratio
Hotel Staff, Location. Hotel and Room were very worn. Room was clean, but again was worn. I was beside some group that had taken a room to Party on a Sunday night. There must have been 20 people going in and out of the room and they were using the side door (that should have been locked), to let others in. No respect as to the noise and they kept trying to open the connecting door to my room. The management did warn the group but they ignored them. I had to leave the room due to my safety and the need to sleep at 1am. I asked for, and was given another room by the management with no hassle.
Concierge was very kind and captured a few stink bugs for us Stink bugs!
I don't know what the negative reviews are talking about. My room was extremely clean and very nicely decorated. I was happy with it the moment I opened the door. I didn't get any kind of special room either, it was just the cheapest one I could find. The mattress was at the point where it needed to be replaced. If it wasn't for that, I'd have no complaints.
Staff was accommodating and pleasant rooms were fair. Breakfast wasn't much to write home about limited area could use more pillows better description of location it's not on Golden Mile Hyw
Nothing The room were dirty stained floors and had a horrible smell. Thank goodness we were only there for the night.
