Pros: Our booking was made at very short notice but the proprietors, Wendy and Peter, were very welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Wendy kindly sat us down with a pot of tea while making finishing preparations to our room. We had the 'red room', which was very clean, airy, comfortable, and full of character and nice touches. The en-suite was roomy with a good walk-in shower. The in-room tea making facilities included bone china cups, which always make tea taste better! Le Binyon has a nice rural setting about a mile from the village of Jarzé and just a few miles from the small town of Bauge, where Wendy made us a dinner reservation at an excellent restaurant. Our stay was made complete by an beautiful breakfast and we really couldn't have asked for more.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Pros: The property is a beautiful 18c. house. Wendy and Peter are the perfect hosts and made us very welcome indeed. Peter is an excellent chef and went out of his way to cater for our vegan daughters.
Pros: Helpful hosts
Pros: Great Breakfasts, beautifully presented
Pros: We found Le Bignon to be well situated for an overnight stay on our way back to the ferry at St Malo but next time we would like to stay longer. Our room was extremely pleasant and comfortable. Peter and Wendy were perfect hosts who were attentive and helpful but not intrusive. Breakfast was excellent. We would recommend a stay at Le Bignon.
Cons: We could not think of any way to improve our stay.
Pros: The owners went out of their way to ensure that our special breakfast needs were catered for. We were welcomed with a much appreciated "cup of tea".
Pros: the welcome from the owners was amazing, the fact that we did have a dog and they made her welcome and she slept in the car.
Cons: May be some more fruit at breakfast time and may be an offer of an egg or something simple. The owners did ask us in the evening but sometimes you don't know until you get up, especially, and as our alarm had gone off at 5.30 am, we were hungrier than normal!
Pros: Tea and biscuits on arrival, swim in the pool, and when we asked Wendy where to get supper she suggested that Peter (who was out shopping) could buy us what we needed and they'd set up a table by the pool. Peter returned with baguette, pate, cheese, salad and so we had a delicious meal in the evening sunshine. Perfect.
Pros: The hosts were lovely as was the welcome and the dinner.
Pros: We were welcomed by Wendy and Peter and had beautifully furnished, comfortable rooms in a tranquil setting. Peter prepared a delicious vegan meal for us and the fact the car trouble had delayed our arrival was not an issue. Breakfast looked beautiful and tasted great and our various dietary preferences were catered for without a fuss. We would highly recommend and loved seeing and hearing the owls.

Pros: The town was pretty
Cons: Bathroom smelt of drains, pigeons roosting in the roof above the bedroom, cooing for most of the day and evening. Shower and sink waste water did not drain away. Very slow WiFi.

Pros: The breakfast was lovely. The shower was good. The taste in decor was simple but classy.
Cons: The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The protector on the mattress was plastic so made the night uncomfortabley sweaty. The town was limited in its amenities, nowhere to get a meal in the evening.
Pros: Very friendly welcome despite their limited English and our limited French. Room spacious and comfortable but only one pillow each supplied - ask for more if required. Only one 'plat du jour' and two or three desserts for evening meal but extremely tasty and very good value. Bar stock limited - no G&T - but good wine. Cons: No proper shower in the room
Pros: Room, Dinner and service was excellent.

Pros: Comfortable bed. Very good night's sleep as church bell opposite was quiet until 8 am. Breakfast was fine in lovely dining room within very old and interesting building.
Cons: Check-in time was supposed to be until 6 pm but hotel was closed when we arrived at 5.20 pm. Manager arrived just after 6 pm and explained staff had been catering for a wedding that afternoon but offered us no apology. Told us the hotel restaurant would not be opening that evening so we had to find the only other restaurant at the local campsite.
