Pros: Hosts were very genuine and make us feel welcome and confortable Breakfast was outstanding
Cons: Could not be better
Pros: This place is absolutely superb! We used it for a stopover en route to the Ile de Ré from the UK and it was an oasis of calm and comfort. With two teenage sons and a dog, the converted farm building with its double bed and shower upstairs and twin beds downstairs was perfect and beautifully equipped (gorgeous Occitane soap provided!) and decorated. The owners were incredibly helpful and very pleasant with great advice as to where to go to eat (which they then phoned and booked for us) and then providing a wonderful breakfast on the terrace the following morning. I think many people would use this as a base for the nearby Puy du Fou but quite honestly I think it would be a wonderful place for a break just to discover the local area and enjoy the hospitality. We were travelling with a trailer with bikes on it and there was plenty of space to park it (and leave it while we went out for dinner). Overall opinion from all of us was "we want to come back here for longer next time!" Merci M. et Mme Meilland - c'était merveilleux!
Pros: The welcome and friendliness - the wonderful unique property, the excellent breakfast and the beautiful surrounding countryside. This is an amazing place to stay. Veronique and Patrice are amazing hosts
Pros: Lovely rural French cluster of properties . The hosts were really friendly and approachable. They have managed to introduce modern needs such as wifi into their suites without changing the character. Good car parking and a lovely picnic area which we used twice.
Cons: We couldn't have had a nicer couple of days so no negatives.
Pros: Véronique and her Husband were excellent hosts and were very welcoming after a long journey, recommending dining options, helping us with the information about the Tour de France (which was our reason for staying in France) and offering beer! The setting for the B & B is very tranquil and the breakfast was really lovely, fresh fruit and juice, cheese, bread, croissants and jam. The weather was perfect and we sat outside. We had the garden room, it is a barn conversion, with low beams - beware if your over 5' 3"!! Everything was immaculately clean and the bed comfortable. Plenty of parking. All in all and delightful place and good communication about check-in time etc.
Cons: Nothing really - would only say, that the room is quite dark and due to being a barn conversion is a slightly odd layout but it didn't deter our enjoyment. There isn't anything in the village so you definitely need to travel for dinner. No air con in room but we expected that.
Pros: The countryside was beautiful. We had a huge breakfast. Véronique and his husband are very Nice people.
Cons: Our stay would have been better with sun. But never mind ! Everything was OK.
Pros: The location , the place , owners . It was excellent .
Cons: No opinion.
Pros: Nothing was too much trouble for Patrice or Veronique. They didn't realise my husband had walking difficulties (my fault!) and offered every help. They even laid a table for us to have our picnic supper!! Welcomed with a bottle of excellent artisan beer to drink under the cedars with a stunning view. Breakfast was amazing and what we couldn't eat they packed up for us to take with us! I want to go back and would highly recommend this for a group of friends or family or a couple. Breathtaking building with incredible adaptation to it's present use. Worthy of more than a one night stay but if that's all you have time for then make the time!!
Cons: If we could have stayed longer!!
Pros: close to puy du foy, pretty rooms and location, great breakfast, friendly host.
Cons: nothing, not much there for children.

Pros: The owners spoke as little English as we did French but they were absolutely wonderful - highly recommended particularly if you're visiting Puy Du Fou!
Pros: Cleanliness and owner
Pros: What a lovely experience! If you want to experience genuine French hospitality this is the place for you. The breakfast we delicious - home made jam, fresh brioche and lovely coffee. The rooms are really comfortable and we can't wait to go back!
Pros: Friendly enough.
Cons: Wildly overpriced. Bread and jam with coffee does not equal breakfast for anyone not local. A pizza shop within 1km saves its location.
Pros: Very kind and flexible owners. Arrival at 23.00h was no problem. Clean and new room! Nice garden!
Cons: Everything was perfect! Only language was al little problem. Owners speak perfectly French, but just al little bit English (-;.
Pros: Excellent hosts - Marie and Marcel were so friendly and helpful, giving directions to Le Puy du Fou, happy for our group to eat supper in their lovely peaceful garden, would definitely stay again.
Cons: Not a complaint - but guests need to know it’s cash or Paypal.

Pros: It is a beautiful location, with the accommodation being almost half of a fascinating property. The host was very charming and accommodating as well as professional. Breakfast was superb and generous.
Cons: This is not a criticism of the property itself, but it was a shame that the nearest restaurant wasn't open on a Wednesday evening.
Pros: The owners were very friendly & welcoming, we had the whole place to ourselves, it was very comfortable & clean, breakfast was served promptly at the time we choose ( could have been better choice but still very good
Pros: Very welcoming owners, accommodation is a 1 bed gite in a pretty lakeside location, but still close to Cholet. Nice restaurant a 10 min walk away.
Pros: Very nice accommodation, very nice hosts and a short walk to the restaurant by the lake
Cons: Quite a good place
Pros: Stunning property in an amazing location. We had a superb suite split over two floors with balcony and a huge terrace and garden with views over lake. Bedrooms, en suite and toilets were of the highest quality. Lots of private areas to relax and play pool. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb. Great choice of fresh food, including apple juice made on the property. Everything was perfect. Great value for money location. Lovely restaurant nearby on shores of lake
Pros: nice breakfast, very friendly host, lots of space, unexpected fridge and microwave available, big terrace party covered (nice when it rains)
Cons: garden/park big but lacks maintenance and flowers, furniture/atmosphere from old times, so that beds and seats lack real comfort
Pros: Brilliant place, our last day of the holiday and this was a treat. The owner was superb, very helpful.
Cons: Booking.com - please advise if a property can't take payment by card, not a massive issue but we arrived and then had to go and find an ATM
Pros: Beautiful location and very friendly hosts. We had a meal in the restaurant on the lake 10 minutes walk away and it was very nice. We stayed as a stop over to Puy du Fou. It was about 25 mins drive away.

Pros: Breakfast and cleanliness
Cons: Check in time
Pros: They fixed for me a supper at 23hrs!
Pros: Veronique was very friendly and welcoming. The property was very nice and recently renovated, the garden is currently being renovated. The breakfast was fresh and served very well. The location was excellent, for the town centre and also the tour de France which was the reason for our visit to Cholet. The room and bed were large and comfortable.
Cons: Our room was over looking the street, there is a bar next door and talking went on til midnight making it a bit noisy. The shower was awkward to get the head to stay up. We only had 1 towel each and the room wasn't cleaned daily but we only stayed 2 nights so wasn't a problem. The room could benefit from a fridge as it was very hot on our stay and we were unable to keep drinks cool.
Pros: What an absolutely wonderful place to find, by far our favorite on our trip. The host was super friendly, the rooms were large, clean, and beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. The location in town was exceptional, right near the main old town street. It was truly a wonderful experience. I will remember this place fondly!
Pros: The room was huge, the shower small but fabulous, spotless beds and towels, lovely bedding, lovely floors, lovely big windows/doors, great breakfast, Veronique was lovely and accommodating. If in Cholet would stay again.
Cons: Finding it! The bell is on a door that doesn't open but the owners collect you from a different gate.
Pros: nice independant residence, the host was very friendly and accommodating, lovely fresh produce from local bakery for breakfast
Cons: noise from roadsweeper vehicle outside property at 4.30 am and also some young males shouting in the early hours of the morning

Pros: Very good bed
Cons: Very very dated. We're not advised we were on second floor. No lift. No dinner other than Gourmand. Definitely not 5 star Smelt very damp. Toiletries in bathroom very minimal. Couldn't open window in bedroom without moving settee. No ventilation in bathroom. We were in Ming Bedroom. Gardens lovely provided you didn't tread in the animals mess which was everywhere, the paths were full of it.
Pros: The entire experience was fabulous from being greeted and having our car parked, our beautiful rooms, great heated swimming pool and totally amazing dinner in the restaurant. The staff were wonderful, really helpful and friendly. Couldn't find a single thing wrong!
Located in Mortagne-sur-Sevre, Chambres dHotes dHelene et Jeph is in a rural location and within the vicinity of Marques Avenue La Séguinière and Meilleraie Exhibition Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very pretty place full of unusual furniture and décor. Had a shared toilet but private shower which was odd. Pros: Excellent hotel right in the center of the old city. Nice clean rooms, good breakfast. Parking belongs to the city, but is really not expensive, we paid less than 2 Euro for 24 hours.
Cons: It was difficult to find an open restaurant on Sunday. Thanks for the hotel staff who directed us to the nearby burger restaurant which was open.
Pros: the staff were very obliging and helpful as we were very stressed as our brand new BMW could not be fixed by them over 3 weeks while we were in france. it is still in la Rochelle and we were being shovelled around like gypsies by BMW Assistance!
Pros: The staff really make this hotel a great place to stay. They were very welcoming, friendly and very helpful. They arranged a taxi service for us and did a fantastic job. Nothing was too much bother for them. The room was lovely too, very clean and spacious. The hotel is located in the centre of Cholet with easy access to shops & cafe’s. We will definitely stay here again!

Pros: The best French people.
Pros: Missing good bread for breakfast, compare Mercure Nantes one day later great selection.
Cons: Poor lunc hmenu, no salads nothing fresh. Micro wave fast food selection......
Pros: Nice quiet room. I like that it is in an area where it is nice and easy to walk around, day or night. Nice restaurants and bars very close by. Breakfast (not included in the room price) was good, but in my eyes, and my currency expensive. Staff where friendly, helpful and pleasant.
Cons: Seemed that the room price when viewed included breakfast. But this was not the case.

Cons: Rooms are small.
Pros: Clean, well equipped room, little small, but its town centre hotel, so ok.

Pros: This is a classical motel with free of charge parking places, rooms wee o.k. especially for the price, very descend diner, very kind staff
Cons: It is fine for a short stop but not for a longer stay
Pros: Relatively new building with minimalistic fittings. Exceptionally clean and neat facilities. Very efficient staff. A little out of the main centre which suited me.
Cons: Shower head positioned far too low on the wall and no in room tea coffee making.
Pros: The restaurant is not the best ever, but it definitely is of extreme value for such a low cost ! We were impressed.
Pros: Booked this hotel for a stop over, the room we had was one of the little chalet like rooms, very modern and spotlessly clean. The three course evening meal for 11 euros 20 was amazing, I would have paid that for the first course buffet alone. Parking right out side the room. The staff were very friendly and very efficient, would definitely stay again.
Cons: We did not understand that they open only at 5pm so had it not been for the guardian being willing to come and open when we arrived at 3pm we would have been quite upset. Should be clearer though
Pros: Bed quite comfortable, silent room, enough space, sanitary ok. Breakfast ok, staff busy but friendly.
8.5 Excellent (301 reviews)

Pros: It was an amazing place to stay! Very peaceful yet plenty for the kids to do. The rooms were big, clean and had all you needed. Thank you so much for the amazing stay. We will be back!
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable
Cons: The food was appalling for all its intention...tried to be too complex Failing in every respect. Really disappointing.
Pros: Very close to Puy Du Fou. Stunning grounds. Children loved walking to the lake.
Cons: Kettle would have been better than the fancy coffee making machine
Cons: Dinner was not particularly good and we were seated in a small ante room with two other couples.
Pros: the food is amazing the rooms the decor does not match the location at all, I understand its modern and the hotel is linked to art and sculpture but the curtains esp are cheap and look bad, I work in the fashion industry and I stay and do photo shoots all over the world and for me the interior needs help
Cons: interior of the rooms and the finishes
Pros: Staff were polite and helpful. We had dinner in the hotel and the food was nice: healthy options and good quality meal. Pretty surroundings including horse stable. The swimming pool area looked nice although we didn’t get time to take a dip.
Cons: One of the bedrooms smelled of smoke even though the rooms are all advertised as non smoking (perhaps a guest had broken the house rules and smoked in their room?).
Cons: It’s location. Nothing nearby. Asked at hotel where we would find a pretty town. Told there wasn’t one.
Pros: The pool was nice. The property itself is beautiful. The restaurant was good but too expensive. The breakfast is good.
Cons: There were pieces of stucco missing in the room. The rooms are small. The WiFi is horrible. We had to ask for more passwords, since they only give you one for one phone/computer.
Pros: Staff communication both before and during our stay was excellent, the assistance in organising tickets for the Puy du Foy and the evening show was first class. Would recommend and will stay again!

Pros: Location Breakfast
Cons: We expected a Restaurant but it was not open
Cons: Pillows were very uncomfortable
Pros: Bed good size
Cons: almost everything
Cons: The quilt was too thick for this time of year also in a heat wave it’s too hot. Otherwise very comfortable.
Pros: Clean and well maintained. Within easy reach of the autoroute.
Cons: The cheery and helpful staff
Pros: We arrived saturday evening about 1930 and reasonably expected to eat at the hotel but the restaurant was closed. We were told the restaurant is never open on a saturday evening. Why were we not told this at the time of the booking. Surely if IBIS STYLES is supposed to be a quality hotel it should have restaurant facilities on a saturday. Outside the hotel is a large sign claiming they have a restaurant so we feel cheated. Please comment.
