Good food ,service and value for money
Quiet surroundings, central location with good access to good roads for motorcycle touring and pleasant ride to Magny Cours circuit Not a great slection for breakfast
Good restaurant, very efficient service throughout
Room was clean and we had plenty of room. Good view from the window and a reasonable breakfast although the bread and croissantrs were a little stale/hard. The cot we had asked for when booking was not in the room on arrival and the single cot cover provided was small, thin and dirty.
Excellent location right in small town. Lots of steps, no lift. Very clean room, large bath. Great restaurant with surprisingly different and tasty French cuisine.
The owner-operators of Chateau Latour are a wonderfully welcoming couple who moved from Amsterdam a few years ago to open this small property. It has only four rooms upstairs and one apartment downstairs - you will never get lost in a crowd. Evert Jan cooks lovely French meals, often using fres ingredients from Therese's vegetable garden. The breakfast features fresh croissants from an excellent patisserie about 300 meters away on the village square. The pool is enticing and in warm weather could convince you to take part of a day off from touring. This is not a "luxury" hotel, but the bathrooms and furnishings are modern and comfortable. Wifi is available gratis. Chateau Latour is a great jumping-off stop for visiting many Burgundy towns.
