Friendly and accommodating staff. Nice place. Would stay here again.
My husband and I just returned from our 2nd stay; clean, well appointed room and bathroom, comfortable beds, very friendly staff, free breakfast and easy access to Charleston. A nice touch was the lemonade and cookies that were available to guests in the afternoon. Great hotel!
It begins with a helpful staff that makes you believe that Southern Hospitality still exists. The rooms are comfortable and clean with a quiet that suggests a relaxed pace and consideration for others. It was a good stay at a reasonable rate. It would stay again.
Every nice place to stay, close enough by car to historic downtown, to beach and to Patriots Point for ferry. Close to good restaurants.
room was clean, bed was as comfy as home, pool was nice - breakfast was decent - hotel is in a great location too. liked having free internet too - made it nice keeping in touch with loved ones at home.
Parking was ample, but there were few trees to provide shade to keep the cars cool. Although not the fault of the hotel, current road construction makes access to the hotel difficult. Once road construction is completed, it will be a very nice place to stay, with easy access to the highway.
Enjoyed stay, breakfast is good. Housekeeping prompt, front desk staff very helpful.
We were greeted by a very responsive and courteous staff, the room was clean and was ready even though we arrived early. we enjoyed our stay.
The room was very comfortable, clean and very quiet. I would definetly stay again.
usually like to stay in the Holiday Inn Express in general...consistantly clean, very friendly staff, and mostly new properties, or extremely well renovated. I try to book HIE if there is one where I'm going and I can get it in a reasonable price range.
The hotel was very clean and the staff is very nice. The free breakfast that they serve is very good.
hotel was poorly managed, staff always apolizing for the rooms not being cleaned at 2 PM because they had a large check out in the morning . That was every day of our stay starting with our arrival. Breakfast was a very nice assortment, just not enough tables to sit and eat on from when they opened till they closed. Business office was a closet with a fan and ONE computer and one chair. the laundry on the first floor had ONE washer and ONE dryer and a line of those wanting to use them. I asked the front desk about a shuttle to the town sites like the other hotels in the nearby area and they said they are working on that. I asked if there were places of interest near the hotel and the staff offered no knowledge of anything in the area. We were not far from the Yorktown, Moores plantation and other interests that we got directions for from people on the street and in the area who were very friendly. A shuttle into Charleston would have been great so as to leave your car at the hotel, because parking was anywhere from .50c to $1.00 per hour with 2 hour limits. The overall status of the hotel was fair to average I would rather not have the coffee machine in the bathroom. Next time I'll stay someplace else.
