Pros: We liked all. There is no way to have to experience. We highly recommend. Great location, excellent concept of hotel/resort. Friendly team, very good food and excellent wines for very reasonable prices. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. When book select what you like, since rooms and suites are in different buildings, make sure you book the right one. If you drive to Portugal by car, it is good place to buy olive oil and wine including sparkling wine. Prices start at 3,60 Eur per bottle (Oct2019).
Cons: Nothing. All was perfect. We wished to stay longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Property was beautiful. Our room was lovely.
Cons: TV in our room was right in middle of the beautiful window view. It would have been better if it could have been hung on one side on a wall.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view, lovely food, wonderful experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, food and accommodation were all exceptional. We did a wine tasting with Daniela which was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, and the tasting portions were more than generous. They also had little canapes with each of the wines which was a nice touch and really showcased the wine and food of the region. The staff all go out of their way to make sure you have the best stay possible.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was luxurious and in close contact with nature. It was a quiet place and it was great to relax. I have to thank everyone for the hospitality. Everything is nice and clean and very well decorated. By the way, the toiletries are amazing, I have sensitive skin and usually I take my own but I tried the free shampoo and shower gel and it was great. I reccomend trying the wine if you're into it, it's a very good wine. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of options and everything was fresh!
Cons: There wasn't a thing that I disliked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beyond Expectations! I booked to be close to some factories where I am working thinking that the place would be nice. I was very happy to find that everything was really perfect. Location, installations, breakfast was amazing. The wine is from their vineyards, and the owners were really lovely. I strongly recommend it!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marcus and his Wife Ingrid are great hosts. The accommodation is located on their wine farm which was located in the scenic area of Felgueiras. The setting was unique and different from your usual Airbnb type accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thank you

Pros: Excellent breakfast. Top quality.
Cons: Signage for the family room. I'm not sure all guests were aware that there was a room above the communal areas.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We left very early in the moring but Ingrid would have been willing to make us breakfast (at 4.00am!!)
Cons: The weather & the football!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very large and quiet, the breakfast vas very good. Marcus is really friendly,
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Once we located the place(difficult to find even with GPS) it was beautiful and peaceful and just as advertised nestled in a vineyard. Marcus is a relaxed and genial host who serves a wonderful breakfast and could not be more helpful. Having been on the road for several days, we really appreciated being able to use the kitchen in the dining room to cook our own dinner and to sit by candlelight looking out at the superb view. The room was perfect for a couple with a very comfy bed and sitting area looking out over the property. The walk through the fields to the monastery is not to be missed. The pool looked very inviting but we were too busy sightseeing to enjoy it. All highly recommended.
Cons: The only downside is finding the place... but once done it is totally worth it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was superb! The hosts were very welcoming and the farm was astonishing. The breakfast was very good and made with great quality products including some from the farm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marcus and Ingrid were great hosts! Everything was amazing and although we went for a wedding we still could relax on the hotel. We wish we could enjoy it even more.
Cons: Nothing. Everything I needed was provided.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Oh my gosh, seriously these guys get hospitality ! If you’re looking for the most welcoming, friendly and comfortable accommodation amongst the vines then this is it. - communication faultless - charming historical buildings meets modern additions - incredibly comfortable beds (family room for us) - spotlessly clean - great family room with ample space - parking on site - breakfast with so many options - picturesque views amongst a beautiful setting - the most welcoming and engaging hosts - relaxing communal spaces - absolute value for money +++ I could really go on and on, as this has been one of our favorite places on our three week road trip so far... you really feel like you’re part of the family in a remote village with your own space. If only we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a very special stay !

Casa De Santa Comba - Moure - Building
9.2 Excellent (75 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Barcelos, Casa de Santa Comba is within a 10-minute drive of Archaeological Museum and Museu de Olaria. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Property has it all; vineyard, geese, dogs, horses, pool, storied history, roses, fountain, and chapel. Owners are delightful and traditional hosts caring deeply about your stay and sharing their estate. Taking my parents here gave them an experience of a lifetime. The jams and honey for sale is a very special feature as is a healthy and generous breakfast in a the oldest building of the estate - a gorgeous stone kitchen.
Cons: Quina da Santa Comba should print in several languages the story and history of the estate to share with visitors. Visitors are interested in the architecture, the family history, and the current activities with dog shows and animal cultivation. I wish Santa Comba many successful years of continuing to connect us all to the past.
7.9 Good
Pros: This is a beautiful house in a lovely country setting, lovely pool and Jorge is great, very friendly.
Cons: One of the beds broke
4.0 Okay
Pros: The ambiance
Cons: We were told breakfast could only be served at 9 am but we bargained for earlier so Jorge said it could be ready by 8:15am. Much to our dismay, he was able to serve breakfast for a big group the next day at 7:30 am. I believe this was not fair for us. When we ate, the table was not yet ready and the food was just left overs. However, he was able to add more after a while.
6.3 Good
Pros: The farm is beautiful and staff is very nice.
Cons: the room looked far from the pictures appear in the website. it was a poor un designed family room, situated in the back next to a all day long washing machine that made a lot of noise. this was very much disappointing. Our request for an extra mattress for another child (the room is only for 3) was answered only after we arrived (and obviously it was not ready for us).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a delightful old family owned traditional quinta in the countryside near the attractive market town of Barcelos, where the legend of the Portuguese cockerel started. Only 30 mins from Porto but a world away in tranquility. There is an outdoor swimming pool, very fresh in October as unheated, but with a lovely peaceful view over the fields. The buildings and enclosed courtyard are lovely, the rooms simply decorated and furnished in traditional style. This is very much a family concern and it helps to have some languages (French more than English of Spanish unless you speak Portuguese) if you wish to understand more of its history. Do ask the owner to let you see the chapel which is attached to the property - a most romantic place for a wedding!
Cons: This is not a slickly presented commercial hotel; this is a family owned old house, and finding out things such as the key to the WIFI (on the dark wall to the left of the table as you enter the main hall/dining room) may not be instant. No bad thing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect, lovely hosts with loads of local tips, lovely place, great breakfast. My parents stayed on and even had an amazing dinner here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful place to stay and George could not do enough for us. The location is stunning! The pool was lovely highly recommend!!

6.7 Good
Pros: The living room, comfortable and there is good signal of wifi. Early breakfast. Parking at site. Price is reasonable. Hostel is in the middle of nowhere, but nice views! André (owner) talks English. If you look for silence, no-nonsense this is the place to be.
Cons: Outside it is old glory, needs painting and cleaning. Lane to parking very narrow because of trees. NO WIFI IN ROOM!!
6.3 Good
Pros: I love the comfortable living room with good wifi connection. There is a small super market and restaurant nearby. If you like the country side and quietness this is the place to be.
Cons: Nothing really; I stayed there last year as well. For such a reasonable price incl. a breakfast noone should complaint. .

5.0 Okay
Pros: The room was confortable.
Cons: When we arrived our room wasn’t ready, we wait neerly 3 hours after the check in hour, after a long travel the hotel doesn’t even have a place where we could take a bath or change our clothes. The breakfast doesn’t have variety enough to a 4 stars hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location, food for cosy getaway and easy to reach Porto from train station nearby
Cons: Slow automatic front door- if we had to pick anything
7.9 Good
Pros: Good value and location
Cons: Air conditioner not very good. Some loose fittings in the bathroom
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was big. Had a bath.
Cons: Room was falling apart, cheap linoleum wood floors, bathroom was clean but in disrepair, tv was on the side wall and wouldn’t fully turn, no mattress cover so was a old thin sheet on bare mattress which is gross. Couch was gross. Breakfast was not unique or fresh or good. You can’t rate this a four star and Cidnay and baiona guesthouse a four star. This is a 3 star in disrepair. So right now in its current state I would give it a 2.5 star. Would not stay again.
