Pros: Close to castle and center if town
Cons: Restaurant staff seemed indifferent to customers No water on 2nd day for shower
Pros: nice room at the Beach and good food and close to castle
Pros: The location and the beach front room
Cons: The staff and the fact that we had to pay by cash first before even getting the room.
Pros: The property is nice and right on the beach which provides great views. The location is convenient for going to cape coast castle (walking distance) and local restaurants and shops as well.
Cons: The room was very hot and uncomfortable at night with no fresh airflow and the fan did not do much. If you walk down the beach to either side of the hotel’s property, you see trash and open sewage pipes running onto to the beach.
Pros: Beautiful view, good bed, great bathroom.
Cons: Found a couple of tiny cockroaches in bathroom which I understand are difficult to keep at bay. Also that you could only pay cash for some reason. Arriving late evening I truly didn't want to go out alone to withdraw and was lucky I had just enough but left me counting my pennies for dinner.
Pros: The rooms were nice an clean. The showers and toilets were close, very clean, and never busy. It is right on the beach and you can eat all of you meals there which is quite nice. Highly recommend!
Cons: Dining staff was a bit slow. Also be prepared to be bombarded my kids and hawkers if you walk along the beach.
Pros: The food was good and the the view of the ocean was enjoyable. The cash upfront and after every meal system meant that checkout was immediate.
Cons: The staff were continuously dismissive of my partner and I. We were never able to get service without complaining or placing orders with two or more people. Upon arrival, the manager greeted us with a rude stereotype of Nigerians, and inappropriate joke, and refused to disclose the WiFi code (which we would later be unable to get till the next afternoon as only him had it) and told us we were asking too much when we asked for a change of towels and the room to be cleaned. The room stank very badly. Not that it should matter, but despite being in the higher end rooms, we struggled to get attention or respect from the staff. You get a very clear sense that there is a preferred or recognized type of clientele, and it is not people who look like you.
Pros: This is a great little beachfront hotel in the center of town (5 min walk to the castle/town). The style is kind of funky/beachy and they have a range of accommodation levels. I stayed in both a mid-range room (ocean view, private patio, en suite, AC/fan, fridge) as well as a budget room (fan only, outdoor showers). Both were good experiences. Clean and comfortable. Loved going to sleep hearing the waves! I spent alot of time in their very comfy semi-outdoor restaurant which has music at night. They also have hammocks and chaises in a nice common area.
Cons: Alas one couldn't swim at that beach because it's too dangerous.
With a stay at Moree Paradise Ocean Resort in Moree, you'll be near the beach, and 5.5 mi (8.8 km) from Cape Coast Castle and 8.1 mi (13.1 km) from University of Cape Coast. Pros: Location was really good, peaceful and quiet. Good for a good rest Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Right at the beach therefore great views. Food was very well cooked and tasty. The manager was super helpful and friendly
Pros: This was the best experience regarding accomodation and catering in Ghana after 3 weeks travelling all across this besutiful countryová. The staff was extremely helpful and all our requests have been met. The location certainly looks like a paradise and gardeners have obviously done a lot of good work. Prices are also reasonable. We were so happy about this place that after first night we decided to stay two more nights. Thank You great staff for very pleasant stay. We hope to see You again.
Pros: The size of the room and the immense bathroom ! And, it was a casita with a sitting porch! The included breakfast was delicious! The landscaping was very lush! The dogs and cats keep the crawly things away I assume! The ocean view from the elevated restaurant was spectacular! The staff was very polite and helpful. The serene country like atmosphere is immeasurable! The Moree Paradise Ocean Resort, once found will not be forgotten!
Cons: In the evening I was able to hear revelry from somewhere, but that was off property. During the day, rebuilding/repair/renovating sounds could be heard on property. It would have been great if the fountain was operating
Pros: The staff was very helpful, also with getting taxis to go somewhere. The food was nice, we could even request fresh fish for dinner and a coconut for breakfast
Cons: It was difficult to cool down the room
Pros: The facility has a very serene environment. Provides excellent customer service and good food (local and continental).
Cons: Directional signs to the facility were inadequate. Road leading to the facility needs to be improved by the local government authority there. Phone network needs to be improved as well.
Pros: Everything! Beautiful location, stunning sea view and wonderful hospitality. Super helpful and welcoming!
Pros: Location, staff service. Owner was on hand for all our needs.
Cons: There was nothing I did not like

Pros: The location was good and the service was good. It was clean.

Pros: -Very helpful staff -Bed was comfortable (but...) -Location is ok
Cons: -wifi didn't work (hotel forgot to put enough credit and all shops closed on the weekend to top up) -pillow sheets smell bad. Had to put towel around the pillow -light coming from the corridor

Cons: Bedding didn't look / smell clean, leaking toilet, damaged curtain rail, dingy room! No working wifi.
Pros: The staff ( Dan)
Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: Different rooms
Cons: There was no internet as advertised. The shower curtain in the bathroom was dirty and mouldy. The duvet on the bed was dirty Toiletries were cleared before I checked out.
Pros: friendly reception, tasty breakfast, comfortable room with refrigerator, air conditioner, ceiling fan, heater for shower, cable TV and a lovely bed. we even found a hairdryer!
Pros: Daniel, the owner was very accommdating. He made sure our stay was a comfortable one. Marrets International Hotel is located on a quiet street, but only steps away from the main road to catch a taxi into town,or do a little shopping at the street vendors. There is a local restaurant across the street when ever you're ready for lunch or dinner...the food there is amazing! If you are looking for a quiet and moderate place to rest, Marrets International Hotel is ideal...AND you will be supporting a traditionally family owned business
Pros: This guesthouse had the best location, water pressure and hot water. They also had a decent bed. The staff was friendly.
Cons: The room was old, no working WiFi or tv channels. They offered a very limited breakfast and the room (room one) needed some updates. The shower had this big step to get into it and it was tiny. The room smelled like moth balls and the scent just overpowered everything.

Pros: Swimming pool, breakfast, landscape
Pros: Biriwa is a beautiful place at the Ghanaian Coast with an impresive view on the ocean. It's a good place to stay for visiting Cape Coast, Elmina and Kakum National Park. I couldn't swim in the sea because there was a rough swell - and unfortunately parts of the Ghanaian coast are affected by global polution (plastic and othe rubbish).

Pros: The staff were super friendly and nice to chat to. View from the room was great and was easy to walk to other attractions.
Cons: We opted for the budget room so was expecting basic facilities. However, there was no running water most of the time and when it did work it came out brown. To shower, they have a large bin with water in it and a pot for you to pour water over yourself, this is normally fine for me but the water had a funny smell so wasn't pleasant to wash in. Their facilities description is wrong as it didn't have a lot of things listed on there. Highly recommend getting an a/c room as was too hot to sleep with just a fan.
Pros: Location is good and the staff were very welcoming. The room size is very large.
Cons: There is wifi which shows full bar when given the password but it doesnt work.
Pros: View of town was spectacular from outside room Staff were as helpful as they could be
Cons: Fridge was not working took two days to sort and replacement was faulty Iron didn't work Poor WiFi when it was available No breakfast provided even though it was included in booking.
Cons: Far from everything. Hot without ac. Shut the taps firmly, otherwise the water will cover the floor...
Pros: The wifi was working, which is not usual in Ghana :-D. The owner and all the other staff was super friendly and helped us in all questions! The room was big and and also clean.
Cons: The AC was working, but there was only ON and OFF. so you could not regulate the temperature. The bathroom was not so clean. The location of the guesthouse is not so good if you want to visit the tourist places, as you are 2-3 km away from there.
