Pros: Liz and Michel were so lovely and helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed staying at Elisabeth & Michel place. Tastefully decorated and peaceful, minutes drive to Beaux-en- Provence. Elisabeth is an impeccable and welcoming host ready to give a recommendation or advice on where to go and what is going on around.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: ! Amazing vacation at Le Mas des Lauriers Beautiful house with the nicest host you can imagine! Thanks so much Elizabeth for our prefect stay! We hope to come back again one day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Nice and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant place with great hospitality from Liz and Michel. Absolutely clean, superb breakfast and perfect recommendations of restaurants, if wanted. Le Mas de Laurier earns the laurel wreath.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The wife of the house is very friendly and service minded. She speaks fluently English, born in England as a child, so that made it much easier. The service was the best you can wish for. The room and facilities were amazingly good and up to a supermodern standard. You can't get anything better if you are looking for a Provencal romatik living. If I ever go back to Baux de Provence it with this couple and B&B I will stay if possible.
Cons: There is absolutely nothing to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Most of all we liked Elizabeth’s and Michael’s hospitality and then there is this gorgeous garden with all conveniences imaginable, the heated pool. Our room was a dream place, the bathroom extremely clean and beautiful. Every morning we had wonderful breakfast with the added bonus of a sweet chat with our landlady and landlord about everything including our daily plans. Their suggestions were most helpful. And of course there was impeccable Wi-Fi and TV but who would need that while at Le Mas des Lauriers...
Cons: There was nothing we did not like. Basically we didn’t want to leave.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It wa a great pleasure to meet Michel and Elizabeth and to stay in their wonderfully designed home - everything was perfect - MERCI!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room and big bathroom, with the room opening onto the pretty garden. Great pool. Felt private and quiet with a relaxed atmosphere, with only two other guests. Elizabeth was very helpful and kind. Good to have breakfast included, unlike most properties in the area. It was good to stay in the area without being right in the most touristy spots.
Cons: Not straightforward to find, it was difficult to spot the sign travelling from west to east - it was easier approaching from Maussane-les-Alpilles. There was only one restaurant open in Paradou - more choice in Maussane, but a 15 minute walk on a road with no pavement for half the way.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely host Elizabeth, nice and very clean rooms. Great breakfast. Very close to very good restaurants.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent through and through, would give it 11 if Icould
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful. The view down the valley was lovely. The proximity to Baux de Provence was perfect. It is a quaint town. We enjoyed being there after the tour buses left and it quieted down.
Cons: We needed more floor space to access our suitcases. The closet was big but we didn't stay long enough to unpack. The breakfast would have been better if there were more protein options on the menu. The dinner we had there was good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very kind and friendly. I had a stomachache. The madame at reception helped me find the address of a pharmacy in Arles that's open on Sunday. Ideal location for visiting the castle and Carrières de Lumières. Good base for visting other places in the area. Big and easy parking. Room designed with taste, jacuzzi in bathroom. View of the castle and the valley from the hotel. Swimming pool.
Cons: Dinner did not meet our expectations.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was beautiful, the rooms are huge, the attention to details was fantastic. The breakfast was superb. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming; very flexible and ready to help in case you need it. Super easy going and always with a smile on their face.
Cons: Maybe having a super king size mattress instead of two single ones next to each other would have been preferable if you are travelling solo like me. Said that, the mattress was very confortable regardless.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere of the place was magical and we would love to return back one day!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the best b&b I’ve ever stayed in. The room was big and clean. Vanina is a graphic designer and has great taste. She is the perfect host!
Cons: Nothing

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent, and it was very fine to sit in the garden and enjoying the breakfast. Cosy rooms and nice garden with a small pool and sun chairs. Perfect hosts! Many restaurants nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This b&b is equivalent to a 4++ hotel. The decor of the rooms and the house (all recently renovated and decorated by the lovely owner) is worthy of a fancy interior decoration magazine - just beautiful! The amenities, bed and beddings are great and the breakfast with fresh, local specialties is excellent. The village gives a lot of choice for eating out (even Michelin starred), and it's a good location for daytrips to e.g. Arles and Avignon. All in all, highly recommended :-)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The B&B is situated in a very beautiful house with a lovely and very caring host, who will give you a warm welcome and make you feel at home. In the back of the house you have a pool and a nice chill out area where also breakfast is served. My room was huge, with facilities for making coffee and tea. Also the bathroom is very big and modern and the bed was very comfortable. Maussane is the perfect place for exploring most major places in Provence. If you are in the region, don't miss out on Carrières de Lumières, Les Beaux-de-Provence, the colorful market in Saint-Rémy de Provence and many other places. Also Maussane has a cute little center where you get good food and a taste and feeling for Provence.

Pros: Excellent facilities, friendly and highly trained professional staff. Marvellous food and we will be back soon.
Cons: We truly liked everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent & food was great
Cons: Quite expensive
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was gorgeous with a truly amazing setting. Brilliant being able to rest in our room with the warm sun and birds singing. Room had a lovely shower/bathroom
Cons: I'm not particularly fussy, but the cleanliness was not really up to standard for the price paid; there was a lot of dust build-up on the air conditioning for example. Although it was only March it was warm enough (over 20) that I would have liked to use the pool but it was quite full of bugs and we weren't informed about whether it was inappropriate to use. Food at the accommodation was supposed to be great, but it was very expensive so a little prohibitive. Open shower was nice but led to the whole floor around the toilet being soaked which was a bit of a nuisance
7.9 Good
Pros: It was a pleasurable experience
Cons: I liked everything about it
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a great location just in the middle of nature and the village nearby is very pretty. Swimming pool is great.
Cons: Our experience was below expectations. The facilities are a bit old, especially with regards to the room we stayed in. The mattress was bent and the filters of the air conditioning released a very bad smell when the air was on. We were under the impression that breakfast was included in the room rate, however we were then charged 22euros per person per day when we left. When breakfast is not included, customers should be given the option when they arrive, which wasn’t mentioned to us. The wifi signal was non-existing and it would require to connect to the network every time, which was frustrating. Overall we would have expected a flawless experience given the price paid and the standard of the hotel. It’s a pity as the location is truly amazing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and friendly service. Super food though menu restricted due to off season. Really a most enjoyable stay. Spa was good and excellent value. Would comfortably stay again
Cons: Nothing really. No complaints. Shame menu was not more complete, though I understand this was January. What was offered was excellent and good value.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We ended up staying at hotel b instead. The room was huge and very very comfortable. The restaurant was wonderful and the staff was excellent
Cons: No recommended changes
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Awesome pool, great breakfast, beautiful villa in a superb location, great parking space.
Cons: Nothing really
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location. Great friendly family run business. Excellent cuisine.
Cons: It was a little pricey but overall worth it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. Dine at at the restaurant - the food is incredible.
Cons: The WiFi signal the room was inconsistent.

Pros: Breakfast was wonderful. The staff were helpful. Grounds are beautiful.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good. Complimentary mineral water in room was appreciated. Car park was good. Coffee machine in room was good.
Cons: Unconfortable beds (slept badly), tiny room with small high windows - ie. not at eye level, so most disturbing, creating anxiety..Absolutely nothing pleasant about the room (room No. 40) nor resembling a 4-star establishment. Tiny shower cubicle, no bidet. Coffee machine in the way of TV, when watching, and could not fit anywhere else. Our friends, also staying there and for whom we booked in the same room type, had slightly larger room and normal windows and a bidet. Price was nonetheless the same for those two rooms. Unacceptable. We all slept badly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We appreciate the attractive Provençal buildings, set in beautiful surroundings, well-cared for landscaping and indigenous trees and plants. The location is in our favorite area of Provence. There are nice hikes nearby.
Cons: There was that nothing that we did not like.

Pros: Beautiful decor and ambience, extremely professional and pleasant staff, everything was perfect
Cons: A very small point, No hair conditioner or body lotion and usually it is provided so didn’t bring any!

7.9 Good
Pros: Lovely b&b tucked away but near town center
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms in this old stone house are totally updated but the remodeling preserved the charm, wood ceiling beams, etc of the original property. The owner, who is great-granddaughter of original owner, serves a lovely breakfast on the terrace each day: fresh bread, croissants, coffee/tea, and orange juice, plus ham and cheese if you wish. The POOL is fantastic! And the rooms are very clean and QUIET, with tv’s, and great showers.Location is perfect for touring western Provence (Arles to Avignon) and the Camarque.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old stone house with garden and terrific pool. Facilities very up-to-date. Rooms are clean and very quiet with excellent beds, tv and a/c, plus fabulous showers. The owner serves breakfast on the terrace: fresh bread, croissants, ham and cheese, orange juice, plus coffee/tea. Good wi-fi. Village of Maussane is charming, and within easy drive of St Remy, Arles, Avignon, and the Camarque.
Cons: Stairs to upstairs rooms may be difficult for people who have trouble walking
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Country house with swimming pool with lovely small details. Center the village in a walking distance. Big rooms, very clean, perfect for a family with teenagers. Great breakfast. Quiet and comfortable. Good bed. Ideal vantage point to discover the nearby cities of St. Rémy de Provence, Les Baux, Arles, Avignon etc. Shared kitchen with refrigerator and microwave. Very friendly and helpful owner. We come again!
Cons: The cooking plate is missing in the kitchen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful welcoming house with a pool in an enclosed and private courtyard garden outside our room. Private little terrace area outside our room. Kettle and tea/ coffee making facilities. Complimentary bottle of water. Amazing shower! Very comfy bed. We asked for an early breakfast which was no problem to provide. 10 minute drive to les Baux Provence and the Carrieres de lumineres. Village of maussnne les Alpilles is gorgeous and full of atmosphere. An easy 10 min walk and plenty of restaurants in the square to choose from.
Cons: Nothing. Maybe leaving!! Would go back for sure.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very friendly and nice. Very beautiful and charming place. Very good breakfast and location.
7.9 Good
Pros: It was very clean plus cool and quiet.
Cons: There was no shower and the bath had no water stopping screen. Breakfast started at 8:30 am, which for us was late.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was quite roomy and well-maintained. There is a lovely garden and nice swimming pool. Located outside of Mausanne so that it is peaceful. Especially enjoyed the morning quiet of breakfast on the terrace. Wish I could start all my days that way! Enjoyed stay and would recommend it to others. I think it might be better for couples and single travels and it is small and intimate, but that might just be my take.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The concept of this accomodaition is an old small building (the house of a grandfather of nowadays owner) with an added first floor and suplemented by four units built around. All new units face something like a courtyard or patio with a pool in the center and a terrace with olive tree and lots of other plants. Breakfasts are served on this terrace and are very tasty. It's a quite place at the end of a village, we stayed for four days and make trips around. There are lots of places to visit around.
Cons: It's good to know that there is no door between a room and a shower. I preferer a bit more of privacy. Also note that typical french breakfast does not include fruits or vegetable so buy some at the market and you'll have the best mornings in the world!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely LOVED our stay! We will be back!
Cons: N/A

The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and efficient. It has a great pool too. We didn't eat here, so can't comment on the food. Pros: Love the interior design of the building. Combination of traditional and new. It's by far the best ID hotel throughout our entire trip. We love the interior so much. Its clean and comfy.
Cons: The sign wasn't clear to the reception. We got abit confused initially. The road towards the accommodation was very dusty, but since its road, there is nothing much to be done. Just beware to not wind down the car window. The room got really warm during the night as the air conditioning is downstairs while the bed is upstairs. Perhaps should consider installing an ac upstairs.

Cons: Bar and restaurant were a little pricey.

Cons: We wish we’d been offered a map upon check in to get a sense of all there was to explore nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Thé facilities are great. Given the mild temps I wish the pool had been a few degrees warmer. What i loved the most? The staff were all excellent!!

Pros: This is the most perfect B&B, perfectly situated for Les Apilles and indeed much of Western Provence. Isabel and Bruno were fabulous hosts providing an excellent breakfast, as well as great company and advice. Two of our best meals were their recommendations, Vanille Cafe and Clos de la Roc both walkable in the village. Thank you.

Cons: The bath tube was not secure but the hotel manager told me they were going to renew and change it in all rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice quiet hotel with great staff
Cons: Only downside was our room faced the car park/delivery area at the rear of the hotel. However do appreciate that the booking was as the local fayre was starting

Pros: Great location at walking distance to town centre
7.9 Good
Pros: great location and very clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the hotel was as nice as we expected. Maybe the pictures look a little better than it really is but overall it was a good stay. The bed was big and comfortable, the bathroom was also big and clean. The breakfast was nice and varied and for a good price. We loved the terrace, but couldn’t enjoy it as much as we would have liked because it was very windy 3/5 days. The staff were always nice and helpful, cheers to them! The location was ok even if it wasn’t in the center of maussane because it’s a small town and easy to go about by foot.
Cons: The room we stayed in was overlooking the back of the hotel which wasn’t too pretty and unfortunately they didn’t have a room with a different view to change, maybe it’s best to request a room with a good view when you book (garden view or at least the front of the hotel). Also one night we ran out of shower gel. They refilled the next day, but maybe they should have done it earlier. And it would be nice to have some sort of mosquito nets at the windows. Hopefully they’ll get the restaurant up and running soon because it gets tiring to go out every night for dinner after having wandered all day.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice swimming pool and good air con in rooms.
Cons: Breakfast expensive and not much choice even for French standards.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was good and it was in a peaceful area. Parking is easy to access. Friendly staffs welcomed us.
Cons: Nothing special.

Cons: No major complaint on any theme
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beatiful surroundings. Delicious food including amazing breakfast buffet.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: beautifully landscaped grounds; beautiful terrace for dinner
Cons: the weather it was 105F
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Brand new furnitures in the room; nice pool; welcoming staff; excellent dinner (possibly one of the best meals we had in Provence).
Cons: Pool by main road so not very “relaxing”; we stayed in the main building and the room was quite noisy.
7.9 Good
Pros: The overall ambiance and the design of the hotel. Very tasteful and well maintained hotel. The food at breakfast was good. Croissants were delicious. One very friendly staff at the reception to handle all Enquiries.
Cons: There was one very friendly and helpful reception to help us with everything. However at the pool, there was no servicing staff at all. No bath towels offered. We had to bring the towels from the rooms. There was no staff to check if we needed to move the heavy parasols and the chairs at the pool. The rooms were small and no place to place the open suitcases. I would have expected more for a Eur 294 per night room before tax.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: CAR PARK NEED TO,BE UPGRATED. TO MUCH DIRT
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lots of staff who looked after our needs. Lovely buffet breakfast and enjoyable times on the patio,
Cons: At this time of year the flies have descended on Provence. Would have been nice if staff had been in the breakfast room swatting away the little flies or keeping the food covered.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice breakfast, lovely and helpful housekeeping staff. Large and beautiful garden.
Cons: The rude management and it’s dislike for children. If they don’t want children at premises (unless unseen or unheard) they should say so on the website. Or make it a adult only hotel. Also the inflexibility in general. For example when asking for a bit of ham and cheese in the omelette and get a NO when the ham and cheese is right in front of you.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property located at the foot of Les Baux-de-Provence village in a very serene surrounding. High quality materials, textiles, toiletries, nice design, beautiful pool area, very pleasant restaurant, excellent breakfast, one of the best I ever had in France, dinner menu is very limited but my dish was delicious, beautifully prepared and served. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. I was not very happy with my room, which was right by the pool and the restaurant on the ground level, no privacy whatsoever, the shower was rather small. But it was the last room available. Overall very pleasant experience anyway.
Cons: Rooms on the ground level by the pool side totally lack privacy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place is beautiful and the staff was lovely.

Pros: Dining room and menu were excellent
Cons: Bottled water and glasses in room would have been welcome after a tiring journey.
7.1 Good
Pros: It was very central and in an old historical house by the church. We could hear the bells on the church.
Cons: It was very tiny room and bathroom, you could hear the noice of the running water or sewage all the night. It was very distractive during the night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome Nice room and dining room
6.7 Good
Pros: Central location on the main square of a charming town. Historical building. Relatively spacious room. Good airconditioning.
Cons: Very noisy (old building, so could hear every move from the room above). Late check-in (after 6pm). Long waiting times at the reception (staff often busy elsewhere in the building). Slow WiFi.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely small hotel on a square in town. Hosts were friendly/helpful. The hotel had a nice inviting feel to it.
Cons: There’s no elevator.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We reserved this hotel based on the reviews on multiple websites, raving about friendly hosts and excellent location by Les Baux de Provence and the surrounding provençal villages. The hotel interior was designed by Marielle with a lovely combination of provençal and modern decor. The quadruple room was quite large for European standards and the bathroom was very spacious. We ate a very good breakfast at the restaurant on the first day, then got adventurous enough to try the boulangeries nearby on the subsequent days. We also enjoyed our dinner at the hotel restaurant, opting to use their outdoor area in the town plaza. Thierry was a superb host, attending to our needs. Both he and Marielle are so welcoming. Also, the town of Maussane-les-Alpilles is very, very safe. If you plan to stay in the Les Baux de Provence Area (only a couple miles away), Hotel L’oustaloun is the place to be. You’ll experience the warmness of the hosts, the quaintness of the town with the plaza at your doorstep and the boulangeries and restaurants on the main street around the corner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at L’oustaloun and Maussane-les-Alpilles.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very authentic, perfect location on town square, lovely owners
Cons: Early morning church bells, but that is not the fault of the hotel, just its location, which has more pluses than minuses.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service. Great local cuisine! Spacious clean room.
Cons: Couldn’t really complain about anything but although our dining experience was excellent breakfast was only average.
5.4 Okay
Pros: the croissants at breakfast were delicious!
Cons: the shower was tiny and uncomfortable.

Pros: The staff was very kind and the hotel has a nice pool. It was also very convenient to have a private parking.
Cons: There’s no elevator, but it was no big deal
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were incredibly helpful and thoughtful. They sent us to a spectacular local restaurant that would have been hard to find
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was close to where we wanted to be.
Cons: Everything was closed down for the season.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Close to Baux-de-Provence de Provence.
Cons: Beds extremely hard. Hallways dark and automatic lighting only from one end of hallway. Found out at checkout that there were wall switches but not obvious. Upon arrival the desk clerk indicated that all charges were paid when we booked the reservation, including the room tax. However at checkout, that was not the case. The desk clerk at checkout wanted to argue the point (unsatisfactory!)...
7.5 Good
Pros: Cleanliness
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a problem on arrival but the manager was very professional and sort it out. I was very happy with the solution. , Staff is also very kind
Cons: everything
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming and helpful host, nice & spacious rooms... really a sweet, tasteful place surrounded with olive trees :)!
Cons: WiFi wasn’t the best and the if you sleep windows open, then the traffic noise could be disturbing- we were ok with all of that though.
6.3 Good
Pros: The pool was nice and the staff were very friendly
Cons: The shower had what appeared to be mold in the corners. The breakfast was overpriced and much of the selections were empty.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We took a superior room and the bed was big and comfortable. Plenty of pillows for those who like a more upright position in bed. The rooms all had a kettle for making hot drinks. Take tea bags with you. We bought milk locally which we placed in the fridge in the room. The room was a good size although I believe the other rooms that o saw are much bigger so you could end up with plenty of space. The rooms were very well insulated and although other visitors were outside talking, we could not hear them. Staff were very helpful and very nice.
Cons: More toilet tea bags and milk although we can live without these things if it keeps the price down.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exellent service, friendly and professional stuff, very beautiful and cozy building, quiet and relax atmosphere. Great breakfast, fast checkout, free parking - all was perfect! ))) will come back for sure!
