Pros: The room was very nice and the hospitality of the owners as well. Fantastic location to stay!
Pros: Beautifuly restored property in quiet location, with easy links to all towns.
Cons: Tea and coffee making facilities would be a nice extra touch.
Pros: Venue, rooms, organic breakfast, staff and excellent customer service
Pros: Breakfast with lots of homemade foods! Family was so warm and kind! Restoration of the old mill was done very well. It is now the wine tasting room and breakfast room.
Cons: No one was there when we arrived, we set off the security alarm, but then we only had to wait 15 minutes or less. When we checked out in the morning the credit card machine did not work, so we had to use all our Euros (cash) to pay for the rooms. Luggage racks would have been nice so we did not have to leave our open suitcases on the floor.

Pros: Amazing place for my husband's 50th birthday
Pros: Meal in restaurant in evening fab.
Pros: Small Choice but good
Cons: Service in the restaurant was very slow, but food great.
Pros: Location is beautiful. The castel is beautiful - but soulless! Food is excellent and reasonably priced.
Cons: From our experience the Castel's primary business is for events, and aren't really that concerned about running a normal hotel, as they are primarily concerned about the weddings and communions that are taking place there. Having ordered a junior suite - we certainly got a nice room & the floor area in one of the side buildings - however when we arrived all the windows and shutters were closed and heavy curtains drawn - so it was a bit like being in a very nice windowless cell. The dining area is massive - so "non-event" hotel guests are shuffled around depending on where the events' tables are. On the second night while having the celebration meal we had booked the hotel for, they manoeuvred tables and chairs around the room constantly while we tries to eat. Not sure what the hotel is like during the week when there are no events running, perhaps you get more attention and a decent room!
Pros: The swimming pool. How the old castle has been renovated maintaining the original shape and atmosphere. The dinner terrace and breakfast
Cons: Small bathroom
Pros: I booked for a relaxing week for my birthday and it had a pool. I was traveling solo and away from home Wonderful setting to relax
Cons: This is a wedding venue and for other activities So pool availability was a no at times because of bookings and there are limited choices where to go in the area The staff were apologetic
Pros: I always stay here when I am travelling to this part of the country. A very beautiful and peaceful setting.
Pros: Nice pool that wasnt too overcrowded...only two of us.
Cons: The hotel overlooks a busy road and during the day there is heavy road noise. We were one of only two guests in the hotel. We were charged €4 per towel for the pool. Breakfast was simple and bearing in mind we were the first guests to breakfast (only two couples staying in the hotel) there was no coffee available. To be fair, when we asked for coffee the staff were fantastic in accommodating us.
Pros: Nice staffs at reception. Surprised to reliazed that our rooms are updated as suites when entered into them. Outside the hotel, you can see an ice mountain called Mxxxx(forgot the full name) , vineyard and many oliver trees. Some local people make a living on selling wine and oliver oil from a taxi driver. Behind it, there is a garden with a small pavilion and small pool with several swans. They were eating bread! It's a quite place suitable for holiday with families. By the way, Slippers are available in the room . Nice arrangement!
Cons: Food option is limited.
