The decor, access to the internet, friendliness and the fresh clean atmosphere throughout the hotel. Felt the price for the breakfast was expensive. The food was fresh and of good variety.
helpful nature of the staff
In a quiet area of the city but still close to all amenities
Lovely, clean and fresh the 'La Presidence' was nearing the end of a major facelift. Our room was very quiet and comfortable, with a most imaginative layout. The hotel wasn't quite finished when we were there, but give it a month or so and it should be near perfect. We had a nice meal in the restaurant too, with everyone trying very hard to make our stay special.
position of hotel, comfort of bed, cleanliness
Food, staff and everything Colour scheme...
friendly staff, lovely room, great atmosphere, wonderful breakfast, secure parking i liked everything !
The Reception was very helpful and made a point of remembering my name. A personal touch in a big hotel chain. No refrigerator or mini bar in room.
Comfortable with good service. Additonal pleasure of having entertainment liad on in the hotel. Convenience of the position of the hotel in the town. Resent having to pay for car parking. The hotel should provide reasonable parking and this should be free or they should direct you to free parking.
The attention to detail and friendliness of the staff
Easy to find with plenty of free parking outside. English speaking staff very helpful and friendly.
Owners were extremely helpful and made us very welcome No
Very central and pleasant.
Clean quiet hotel in a nice resort handy for shops and bars restaurants and a great weekend market.
Very friendly and helpful staff and family atmosphere.
Hotel Position, & the staff were very friendly The room was a bit noisy, creaking and strange noises that kept me awake.
The staff were kind and helpful as we arrived late at night Parking was extremely difficult and no alternative was suggested
view was great room service was good answered all questions and concers the lift need work----having to still drag luggage up stairs--but they had no other option because of layout of floors
Very helpful, English speaking staff. Plentiful free parking outside.
Hotel was handy for shops and the beach Parking was a bit of a problem
Hotel was clean, facing the beach and very close to the parts of town we wanted to visit. Very nice bathroom. Helpful staff. The room was much smaller but no cheaper than rooms we had previously stayed in at this hotel and looked out over a fire-escape. There was no milk in the room with the tea/coffee making facilities; we had to ask for this at reception each time. The "cups" and "glasses" were small, poor quality plastic instead of china as previously. The double bed had two single coverlets draped over it instead of a proper double cover. The restaurant food seemed expensive. We were charged 14.50 Euros for two coffees and a Cointreau These are details but overall they gave the impression that the hotel has deteriorated and does not offer good value for the price.
The staff were always polite & helpful. Service was good and the hotel was very comfortable. It was also ideally situated for the sea, shops and for travel to the surrounding countryside. Within easy reach of Rouen & Paris.
Good Location at a reasonable price. Nice friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms. Very expensive bar prices and very noisy during the night and early morning.(could have been the location of our room overlooking a side street)
Friendly and helpful None
the sea views
Location Directly in front of Sea Amusement Park, and since no air conditioning we couldn't open the windows until past 1am. The windows closed were sound proof.
large room no curtain shower
As we took late ferry from England it was easy to get from the port to the hotel
location, quiet, clean drinks at the bar a little on the high side
Ease of use from the ferry Breakfast was a little meagre for 7 euros
Clean and convenient for town Did not realise it was opposite to funfair. Also parking was general and not just for hotel.
Good, basic room with excellent views I feel we should have been warned about the massive (& very noisy) funfair 20 metres from our window! We were unable to sleep until 2am due to the noise.
Close to port, excellent staff, good value for money None
the hotel was adicate for our stay. the check in was very difficult.
The view of the sea the rooms are very small
The Hotel was very Central, which what we wanted. The staff were informative and helpful. The breakfast facilities were lacking. We ordered both tea and coffee, however only received the tea.
Location Pretty much everything! This place is a dump that happens to occupy a great location. Morning staff (male) was helpful and shower head was good and we slept well...but for the rest? Ugh!
We appreciated the location. We are Canadian and were there to explore Dieppe. The hotel was clean, with good accommodations. It is set in the old town and provides easy access. Staff was helpful (and bilingual), and pleasant. Perhaps a bit pricey viv a vis accommodations at E106, but it is right on the beach and has local flavour readily available. That compensated.
the staff were extremely courteous and the room was fine with a sea view No
Although we arrived at midnight after ferry booking mishap,we could not have had better treatment. Fantastic situation overlooking sea, easy free parking and restaurants around the corner, what more could you want! Ideal base for exploring the area.
very convenient location, easy to find, friendly staff,
Seaview, location Our room was right above the trafficlight and because of that extra trafficnoise.breakfast was a depressing affair. The pain au chocolat from the fridge/yesterday.2 small pieces of bread.plastic wrapped cheese and two slices of salami ion offer.20 euro poorer aswell
We only stayed one night but we found the hotel staff to be very welcoming and accommodating. We plan to stay there again.
The food was excellent. The cooking was simply first class. No contest. Friendly and competent staff - we really enjoyed ourselves. We had a power failure on the last night. But... The hotel immediately gave us a 10% discount.
Nice design hotel. Renovation not finished yet (July 2009). In the middle of nowhere. Also, it seems like the male couple running the hotel is eager to squeeze every single penny from the guests. Example? Charging a 6 year old kid for breakfast.
What a fantastic find! understated luxury, helpful and friendly yet unobtrusive staff, delicious food in amazing setting, large grounds, swimming pool....Attention to detail in every respect makes Clos Masure De Campagne a very special boutique hotel. We hope to return.
The location in a peaceful area and the layout of the buildings. There was no coffee making facility in the room and the restaurant was fully booked so we could not use it.
Very helpful. Lovely location. Good food. Well designed room. Like it a lot. The walls of the rooms are quite thin.
This is a pretty and well-tended country site with some interesting features. Our ground-floor room in a stable-type block was tastefully decorated and equipped with all the necessary facilities, including a kitchenette. A traditional breakfast was served in the homely surroundings of the main house. There were signs that some end-of-season maintenance was due - a loose socket and tap in the kitchenette, a shower head which kept slipping down and a rather off-putting smell of damp in the bathroom. Our main disappointment was that the restaurant was unexpectedly closed, necessitating a tiresome trip into Dieppe at the end of a long day's travel.
The location, beauty and size of the property. Plus the feeling of being in the countryside with the horses on the property. The best part was the meals we enjoyed that were cooked by one of the owners of the property (Jean-Francois). He is an excellent cook. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. There wasn't anything that we didn't like about the hotel.
Tastefully decorated and elegantly maintained countryside hamlet
The peace and quiet. The restuarant was closed, and the nearest place to eat was 20km away.
The evening meal was excellent and in very chic surroundings The accommodation is too pricey for what it is. Also the service levels did not match the pricing.
The friendly owners, the wonderful food and the locality. The owners are incredibly kind and did everything possible to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The restaurant is fabulous, with a range of interesting menus, and if you're there on Sunday evening when it is closed, Madame is happy to recommend local alternatives. We had a marvellous time, and look forward to making a return visit Our room was not very big, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs, and the bed was very comfortable.
Lovely family run hotel, friendly staff, nice room with balcony. Quiet location with mini playground and a short drive into the town/port. Perfect for us for one night.
Nice dining room. Good food. Quiet location. Very small room and rather basic for the money
Food and services were good But the hotel was let down by shoddiness in the rooms. The one we were in was small - ok for one of two nights but for no longer, a few hours work from the handyman would make all the difference.
The food and the staff. Good return journey stop over before ferry to uk. grounds and children area could be smartened up
big parking, breakfast is ok rooms are shabby, over-priced (81eur/night)
Great breakfast, nice staff. Bedside lighting very dim
Breakfast was good! Room was grubby, hole in wall, cobwebs around lights, musty smell, location poor!
Was a little off the beaten path but very easy to find with gps. Sapcious and clean with huge bathroom with tub NOt a lot of options close tot the hotel. Need a car here for sure
rustic feel incorrect estimated distance to Dieppe town centre given as 2mins by car on website - this is misleading as yes to reach the entry to the town was 2 mins but not town centre which is approx 12/15 mins by car. We chose this hotel as wanted to be able to walk into Dieppe in the evening. This was not possible due to distance involved and busy road. Would query also if near the sea??? Querky rooms
Staff were very helpful and good English was spoken by receptionists. Breakfast times and food were very good. Bathrooms were both a bit grubby and a dreadful smell came from the drain in one shower ( the extractor fan didn't work which made it even more annoying).
Beds, bed linen, towels etc good. Staff very helpful. Breakfast - Croissants good but cheese very bland.
freindly staff close to the town centre
The hotel seemed to be in a quiet location. There was a good breakfast buffet. The weather was frosty, and the heating in the room was inadequate for such cold weather (air-conditioning thermostat broken). The shower was very basic, and the carpet didn't look too clean.
awkward to find isnt actually in aubin sur soie . Also asked for 4 am call didnt happen
we had a wonderful stay at crocus, staff was very nice, good value for budget traveller. it's a little bit far away from town taxi costs around 10 euros from town centre to hotel, (which is ok price) if you order a taxi from auchan (centre d' commerce) to hotel it costs even more, we paid 10 pounds for just a short distant. the french taxi driver tend to cheat if they know you are traveller. just be aware of it.
Exceptional value for money, good breakfast, resturant available A bit to far from town centre
excellent breakfast, wifi free no smoking rooms
Pleasant receptionist with adequate English.Good value dinner and excellent breakfast.Clean tidy and comfortable room.Plenty of secure parking. No dislikes at all.
