Pros: convenient for motorway.large room with good shower en suite facilities. We were made very welcome and good breakfast was provided.Good value.
Cons: this is a large very old medieval building, musty smelling and arriving in a thunderstorm, was very spooky. It is also difficult to see from the road. we passed it twice before stopping to ask for its wherabouts. There's no facilities for eating but several eating places nearby.I wouldn't recommend it to most people but some would love it.
Pros: Our room did not smell clean - especially the bed. We were traveling with another couple who experienced the same problems. The window coverings had obviously not been cleaned in a very long time. An old sock was found behind something which should have been moved while vacuuming.
Pros: Interesting House, Big comfortable bed, Good Breakfast served in room. Very quiet area. We visited in February for an overnight en-route to Bavaria. Could be very nice in Summer as an inexpensive local base for exploring the Rhine
Cons: Bathroom dowdy, dirty skirting boards. House was very cold, but bedroom was adequately heated.
Pros: It was near the motorway. Extremely good value for money and clean. Interesting building. Proprietor could speak English and was very helpful and obliging.
Pros: Helpfulness of staff in providing local information.
