Cons: Nothing. It was wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Although this B&B is off the beaten path and you'll need a car to get around to restaurants, etc., there is no way to top the view from the breakfast room or out any of the windows. Friendly and considerate hosts, well-appointed rooms, quiet neighborhood and sumptuous breakfasts make this a great stop, and the scenery takes it over the top.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a gem of a place! The hosts were fantastic, so friendly and helpful with information. Breakfast was terrific. The house was amazing, both in terms of comfort, layout and location. Rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and clean, with large modern bathrooms. The Benbulben mountain is in the back yard, the ocean is in the valley below the front window, what views! The location is unbelievable, close to numerous sites to hike/walk. They offered a sitting room where our group relaxed in the evening with a bottle of wine, and had a great chat with the host. We only planned one night here, wish we'd had several more days. We're planning to come back another time just to visit this place more!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, absolutely loved the views around. Great ambience and spotless clean. Hosts were very welcoming. Tastefully decorated rooms, characterful interiors - especially the singer sewing machine tables. Would love to come back and spend more time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marita & Ian were so welcoming and helpful with tea and biscuits on the sunny patio on our arrival. And lots of information about local places to visit. The location was superb with fantastic views and the backdrop of the dramatic Benbulben mountain right behind us. Breakfasts were delicious, using home grown produce from the farm and the local area, and sustained us for energetic days of great sightseeing and walking. There were two really good restaurants and bars within minutes drive in either direction. And the icing on the cake was able to climb Benbulben at daybreak, directly accessed from the fields behind, sit on the edge of its table by 7am surveying the landscape below and be back for a rewarding breakfast by 8.30am!
Cons: Nothing

Pros: We enjoyed the stay VERY much! The owner was super friendly and she helped us out so many times. She offered to give us a ride to and from Ben Bulben, dry our clothes when we got soaked in the rain (after the check-out!) and let us stay at the place and have coffee (also after the check-out). This was the best experience we had at any B&B/hotel. She was also willing to share her understanding of Irish life/culture and it was very interesting to talk to her. Also the breakfast was very original and delicious. This is definitely the best B&B you can find in the area!

Pros: When you arrive at this B&B you get a lovely Irish welcome from Jenny. From then on you're made feel like one of the family. Rooms are clean and tidy and have everything a top hotel has to offer. The choice of breakfast is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. This is Irish hospitality at it's finest (served with a smile and good Irish humour :-)). After you've meet Jenny, her husband Mike, or their assistant Kay you'll feel like you've known them all for years. My wife Janice and I couldn't rate this B & B high enough! Thanks for precious memories everyone!
Cons: The review box invites us here to write 2 or 3 sentences.........how can we, there was nothing we didn't like! Our only problem was that we just couldn't stay long enough!

Pros: Jennifer was kind, very helpful and so sweet! Though she was trying to help her dad (who doesn’t live there), she would stop to check to make sure everything was good for us. Her decor is smart and on the posh side, it was one of the prettiest of all the B&Bs in Ireland! The view from our breakfast table was fantastic. Good breakfast! Would love to stay there again!!! We stopped by bar around the corner for music. Don’t go to Harrison’s restaurant they were a little rude, we ended up driving to Sligo for dinner and had great food options!
10.0 Excellent

Jen, is doing a superb job Love Rolanda and Mark Traveller's Nest NZ

Pros: Perfect location, very clean and provides u great hospitality. The owner is a lovely person, very friendly, helpful and will guide you throughout your stay. We really enjoyed the stay.
Cons: Can't say because everything was perfect
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The host is extremely friend. The breakfast was very good - in fact, the best that we got in Ireland - for this class of accommodation. The room is the right size.
Cons: The weather but I cannot real blame the propriety. You also need a car to reach the place but that plenty of signs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Maureen was so warm and welcoming! The lodge is spotlessly clean and comfortable. She is very well organized and has attended to all the thoughtful details. The glassed-in dining area has an amazing view and the breakfast was wonderful. . Will definitely go back and highly recommend it to others!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Accommodating and pleasant host. Pastoral view of green fields outstretched to sea side. Sheep grazing. Relaxing and peaceful. Charming breakfast in stain glass windowed breakfast room. Food plentiful and delicious. Close drive into Grange town for dinner at quaint, local friendly Lang's Pub and Restaurant. Close to Sligo and Donegal.
Cons: WE liked everything about this B & B! For some people finding it maybe more than anticipated., However there is a sign on the highway to watch for and another sign if you drive from Grange town site which was appreciated because throughout Ireland there are few signs to follow. GPS is definitely a need and plus. We found locating this B & B and others in Ireland as delightful adventures away from the rush of busy cities.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A little off the main roads but access is good, clean and comfortable room with a view of nearby Benbulben. Nice little base for a stopover and to explore Benbulben area. Welcoming host and good food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful B&B with gorgeous beaches nearby and an amazing host. Maureen made us feel extremely welcome and fed us a lovely breakfast. I had to hug her when we left. We will most definitely be back and recommend Mount Edward lodge to everyone.
7.0 Good
Pros: Mount Edward may have been the cleanest place we EVER stayed ANYWHERE: everything sparkled. Hotel Employee was a terrific host and prepared a wonderful breakfast served in a cozy sunroom. The B&B is a convenient 15 minute drive from Sligo.
Cons: Our room was a bit small: we had two big suitcases, which pretty much blocked the alleys around the bed. It was also the most expensive B&B we stayed at in Ireland, but the Sligo Fleadh was going on and no other place would book a one-night stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very quiet comfortable location. Close to beach and tombs and Sligo. Cooked breakfast was fantastic with poached eggs and salmon Wonderful welcome book put together that gave information on things to do places to eat and history of the area.

Pros: The room was class and modern, big and comfortable, and also had a balcony bed as shown in the photos. The bathroom was great with very big shower. Location is good, easy to get to Benbulben, beach and lovely waterfall. B&B is a part of local bar, probably the main one, cause village is tiny. We stay on Saturday, and was able to have long night with nice Irish live music. Breakfast was great, you actually could choose which type of hot breakfast you want - full Irish, poached eggs, omelet etg. Recommend✅

Mezmerizing sunset in Streedagh Point beach. Breakfast was nice, including scrambled eggs, cereals, tea or coffee, pastries, toasts and different kind of fruits. Very attentive staff.
Cons: Low water pressure which makes showering difficult. To avoid water wasting I guess.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This property was all about hospitality, Michael just treats you like family and as guest in his home. A great breakfast, with a little history of the area and sites you may or may not wish to see. We had a big room, lots of hot water and comfortable beds.
Cons: Location was maybe a little to far out of Sligo as we were traveling North, arrived early evening and would have to back track to visit Sligo.

Pros: The proprietors and family. The views towards Straddagh beach. The gentle bleating & playing of lamb and horses nearby.
Cons: It's never straightforward to me how to adjust the "electric" showers". Same this time. By day 2 I adjusted though. And I get very self-conscious in b&b's of the noise of them and the fan.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Convenient for a one night stay
Cons: We got the last room which was compact
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A traditional Irish b&b located in quiet countryside, 2-minute drive from the N15 in Grange, and a short drive from the beautiful beach at Streedagh Point. Our hostess (Linda) recommended Lang’s in Grange for supper: good recommendation. Spotlessly clean bedroom and bathroom: we booked the room with 1 double and 1 single bed. Plenty of space in bedroom and bathroom. Good value for money, and a warm welcome from Linda.
Cons: Wish we could have stayed longer and explored the surrounding countryside: there is so much to discover!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and cosy. Very friendly and helpful owners. Peaceful location but close to town
5.8 Okay
Pros: Close to beaches
Cons: Room was tiny, had to leave bathroom door open whilst brushing my teeth, was told I ordered the cheapest room?? €155 two nights, this room should only be for one person. Can’t turn around in the shower it’s so small and I’m a size 14/16 but sitting in the toilet and not being able to close the door is ridiculous.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely welcome, super friendly couple/ room was cosy and breakfast really good- thanks again for everything
Cons: Nothing to complain about to be honest/ a tv in the room maybe would have been nice but I totally survived without it !

Pros: friendly, welcoming landlord with lots of chat and craic. The b&b was situated in a great location for us. There was parking in the drive and the house was comfortable and clean.
Cons: The tv in the room was not working. We had travelled quite a while and wanted to chill in the room and hubby likes his sport but the tv just didn’t work and though the landlord replaced the batteries it did not resolve the issue. No big deal really but worth a mention. There wasn’t tea/coffee available in the room like most b&b however, we were advised we could use the kitchen to make ourselves a drink if we needed to. Our room was twin beds and a tiny bathroom and shower but for the money and for one night it was acceptable as the landlord was friendly and welcoming which made up for any downsides. The beds were comfy.

Pros: Bedrooms are a good size and all very clean. Good variety of fare at breakfast and the bar meals were tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location. Grandchildren enjoyed the swimming pool .
Cons: Too much noise on third floor. Kids running up and down corridors making noise late in evening. Also noise from a family on floor above. I know children can be noisy but some control is needed as we had two toddlers who were in be by eight and woken again by the noise later on. Not a major problem but there were notices up asking guests to respect others rest.
