Convenient location for the purpose of my stay
Whenever I stay in Munich, I try to book a room at the Derag Hotel: it is confortable, the staff is very nice, and it is ideally located in the city, next to public transportation and to shops and nice little restaurant, and to the swimming pool.
Check-out time a little bit early (11 a.m) and brekast until 10 a.mOne more hour would be welcome - same comment for the cleaning time.Would like to enjoy a late morning after a long trip.
Friendly bar staff. Free bottles of water and beer came in handy. Greatshower.
Double room was, like many in Europe, two singles pushed together. Even had two single duvet covers.
The rooms are an excellent retreat with the mini kitchens. Great people watching!!!
There was a noisy party on the Sunday night in an appartment on the 6th floor. My tolerance was tested- but I was just jealous. The hotel could only act if somone complained but noone would want to complain.
The staff was very friendly, minus one individual. We upgraded to an apartment and loved the freedom to cook ourselves.
The day before checkout, we went to settle our bill and view current charges. We agreed on charges and were told we couldn't settle until checkout time. The following morning at 5:20 we went to pay our bill when Seyed, the man working the front desk told us 50 more euro than agreed upon. We explained that wasn't right and told him we asked about it the night before and knew that it wasn't an extra 50 euro. He than said we have to pay what the computer says and that's it. We went back and forth for about 10 min. And got no where. He than said I was his worst guest he has had in 15 yrs and that's that! Eventually a few hours later I got a hold of a manager and cleared it all up. All in all the hotel was great minus my checkout experience.
Convenience to S-bahn; quiet neighborhood
Reservation under wrong name; a wake up called was delivered 1 hour late
Good location, basic hotel but very good value. Excellent breakfast- lots of choice, 2x free water & 2x beer in the fridge, clean etc... Great for a cheap and cheerful weekend stay!
More facilities than we expected.
Well prepared, quick and smooth check-in/check-out procedure. Kind hotel staff.
Small and slow elavators. Slightly unpleasent smell in the bathroom. Too soft bed.
Close to Metro and oldcity
Room musty and same next room
