The elevator was broken . Too old the hotel facilities and wc's .
Great hotel- nice staff and good, quiet room. Great breakfast. Stay here and you won't regret it. Farther from the train station than indicated by the map and directions. They imply you can walk it, but you can't, but you don't find that out uintil you've already started walking. Take the Metro.
nice breakfast room, free WIFI no parking in front of hotel
The rooms were very clean. There is very strong smell (mostly during the breakfast) coming from the kitchen all over the hotel.
Free wi-fi. Location is good, next to a train station. The front desk people are rude. Very short with guests and not very accommodating. Pretty much every response was, "if your lucky." Vibe makes customers feel inferior. Bugs all over the room, not very clean. Beds are comfortable but the pillows are just massive, not sure if this is a German thing, or something specific to the 'hotel.' Walls are thin so you will hear everyone around you, and get a nice wakeup call at 6am when the staff come in to clean the rooms. I do not recommend staying here again. Breakfast was fairly lousy as well.
The location of the hotel in a quiet neighborhood was nice.Good location, 10-15 mins walking to subway station, nice suburb. Nice rooms and toilets. Additionally, the breakfast was hot and well organized. No parking in the hotel but a private one realy near and secure .Good relation money/quality.
Location and value for money No
easy access to the city there was no opportunity for parking
Quiet and cheap middle class hotel It has not been possible to have a WI-FI connection
I don't wanna be bad, so I'll say the breakfast - very small rooms and not very clean; - it was raining in the balcony;
breakfast and drink mashine on the fllor were exellent
i had a quiet room on the fourth floor the rooms need to be freshed up - the breakfastroom was too small according to the number of guests - a lot of people had to sit with stranger at the table including me - and almost 20 people had to wait 10 or 20 min before they could have breakfast
The room was spacious, the food was good. We had some problems with our room. It did not have all the facilities/services of a superior room we booked. The fee was reduced for this, but there was some confusion between the staff when we checked out. The fridge had mold growing in it.
Finding the hotel was somewhat difficult for first time visitors and parking could have been challenging but access to public transportation, Olympic Park, and a variety of local dining facilities was great. Located outside of Munich's city center, the busy street got very quiet early in the evening and didn't present any problems even with our window open all night. The breakfast selection was very good and a good value, the staff was very helpful with money exchange, tram tickets, sightseeing instructions, and directions out of the city.
convenient location, excellent staff, comfortable, quiet,
Comfort, quiet, clean, parking in hotel garage, very good breakfast. Nothing.
closer location to approach my need. Bad smell..
The breakfast was great, and the location was convenient. The pictures shown on website were not accurate. I was very disappointed when I got to the hotel. The bed was to be a queen size, and it was a small twin. I did not get slippers. You have to ask for everything at the front desk (i.e. shampoo, soap, iron). Nothing is in the room. The staff was not really friendly, but not really rude either.
The hotel is very good, confortble and also the localization is easy too. I would like only to mention that I sent a message to hotel in order to help me related to the public transportation to get the hotel, however, I did not received any message from them. In this sense for next guess I would like to inform it is possible to acess the hotel although the eletric train line 20 or 21 or by taxi it takes about 10 or 15 minutes from the Central Station to hotel. None to mention.
good location, there is a little kitchen and microwave/fridge in the room I have booked a non smoking room, but the staff assigned a smoking room for me, which is unacceptable for me, but they insist that my hotel rate was cheap, so alternative rooms should be accepted...
nice hotel, very good breakfast, clean rooms, free internet.
Great location, tasty breakfast, great employees. Could have a mini-bar
Friendly front desk. Loud, echoing hallways, old rooms.
Please write at least 15 words Good place, clean rooms, good bathroom Bad sound isolation
the hotel is not comfortable at all room is too small and the parking as well.No faselitiy near by the hotel and you will fell unconfortable during your stay
very friendly people
Good rate, Great Location, Best breakfast we ever found out, Just next to Indian Restaur. (if you like Indian Food) Cramped bathrooms ...
Friendly helpful staff & great location a bit noisy at night.
Price, location in Munich, Friendly staff and very nice room no
I was pleased with the small kitchen and the spaciousness of the room (perhaps we had one of the biggest). Good beds, noiseless room and close to the centre town by underway or buses. None, just only talk about the horrible soft pillows which ones caused pain in my back of the neck.
Generally well laid out, spacious room with full facilities for cooking also. Reception pretty efficient. Having paid 200 euro for a night, I think trying to charge 5 euros for 30 minutes of internet access on top is ridiculous. Also given that there are also full catering facilities in the room is a tea bag or coffee sachet too much to ask for??
Just german perfection:) Kitchenette in the room made everything much easier, much more homefeeling.... -
Lacking of skill about Internet service and hence not able to have it during the stay
It's a very nice, clean, and comfortable hotel with modern appointments. For 50euros/night it offered incredible value for money. Though not in central munich, it is a short 3 stops from Hbf. and v. close to the U-bahn (2 min. walk).
The kitchen in a cupboard was a rather unique aspect of the room that I had. Access to a washer and dryer in the basement of the hotel was also a bonus (although not free, prices were reasonable). The cost for internet access was a bit steep, especially since the hotel markets itself as business oriented and for longer stays.
Location Though we have only seen 2 employees (there are possibly much more workers) on arrival and departure - a bit more service and friendliness would have done good.
Rooms were large and quite cool, even without airconditioning. There is parking at the hotel, but it is mainly for cars. We had a van and it did fit. Staff were lovely.
The room was cosy, comfortable and clean. The kitchenette was very handy and money saving - useful for making hot drinks, breakfast, etc. Easy to get to on public transport - an underground stop is just around the corner and trams also stop outside.
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, the owner Sebastian and his family were very friendly and did everything so that we could feel at home. The hotel is situated in a calm district of Munich near Nymphenburg palace, 30 minutes from the center of Munich by tram. The hotel is designed as a small castle and the rooms are decorated in the same old-fashioned style.
Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, good location. Nice breakfast. Room a bit small, air conditioning not too efficient.
Although the owners were on holiday, the staff could not have been more helpful in making us feel at home. Computer access for airline check-in purposes was very useful. Very peaceful at night. The bedroom was a little cramped and a bit jaded, but the adjoining en-suite was roomy and very modern.
Have stayed here on previous visits and will return in the future; not a luxury property, but rather a "home away from home" in a wonderful area just 10 minutes by public transport from the city center; absolutely superb staff who take an interest in their guests.
Good location near the Nymphenburg park.
The very best part is the personal service offered by Sebastian and Alexandra. This is an excellent hotel for Americans to stay in.
queit locaction, easy access to transport, clean, relaxing atmosphere would have been nice to have chairs to sit on in room, although guest lounge was nearby
The attentive and helpful service from the owner Sebastian. The wide range of breakfast choice. The quiet neighbourhood and proximity to both the Nyphenburg park and public transport. Pretty perfect in every way !
so quiet and comfortable
i liked how personable all the staff were at the hotel. they were so helpful with anything and everything wo needed or any questions we had the breakfast is very good. the hotel is conveneniet to public transportation and restaraunts. the area is very quiet and so nice the room was small but we had everything we needed.
Is located in the quiet nice place, well disposed staff, comfortable enough for my requirement, convenient enough public transportation to city center
within 5 mins walk of a supermarket, post office, bank in one direction and a huge beergarden/restaurant in the other, a 10 min walk to nymphenburg castle and a 10 min easy tram ride to munich centre and then direct to airport or trains to other european cities good breakfast and nice staff
The location can't be beat. Within walking distance of Nymphenburg palace and one of the best beer gardens in Munich. Furthermore, the neighborhood is very nice.
Nice and small but very convenient.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and clean. We also thought the location was great. You can be in downtown in less than 10 via the tram lines. It is also right next to the Hirshgarten which is a huge outdoor biergarten. We had a lovely afternoon there. One part of the room (a small separate area with a couch) smelled like someone had smoked in there. It was only an issue because my husband is quite sensitive to smoke.
Wonderful hotel, great family, made us feel welcome. We arrived early they gave us coffee and cake while we waited for our rooms, also the day we left was very early we were given juice and pastries to take with us.
This small family-run hotel is very nice , located in a very quiet and pastoral area of Munich and with that very close to the city center. the breakfast is very good and the manager and staff were very friendly and helpful with all that concerned touring the city and information. the price was expensive for a 3 star hotel during the Oktoberfest, but as in other local hotels during that Holiday.
Very helpful desk staff and the breakfast was lovely and traditional. Close location to transport and particularly Oktoberfest Bed was very short.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, down to giving excellent directions to places etc. Breakfast was very good. You can't get away from it, going to Munich during Oktoberfest, but it was very expensive. Still, better than no accommodation at all, and at least it was actually good.
Extreemly warm welcom.
It was great having a kitchenette and fridge in my room and having a supermarket and restaurant on site. Hotel is situated in a nice leafy suburb with metro station only 5 minute walk away, with centre of town only 4 stops away. Would definitely stay again! I was taking part in the Munich Marathon and the hotel allowed me to keep my room until 6 p.m. at no extra charge.
-big and confortable rooms, well connected to the city, restaurant next door
the room looked really nice and was way too big for a single person, so I 've got a nice impression on it.
Extra facilities[ except no cafe except for breakfast] No personal safe in room cost per night was rather high ? opportunism during octoberfest
Quiet location, easy access to the metro system, comfortable room, excellent staff. The room was in need of some minor repairs.
Very good location, not so far from city center, but quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast. Some facility in room was quite old and sometime didn't work correctly.
It was close enough to the city center, but secluded to a nice family neighborhood
I liked the room very much. It was a warm flat with stairs that drives you in a loft. Yes, the double bed it was too small for 2 people(semi-double). You couldn't turn over because there was no space. We had two very small single quilts instead of one big one.
Carpets had very large spots
It was easy to get around from this location, plus the convenience of the restaurant and grocery store and many other things.
friendly, quiet, comfortable bed, tiny but functional bathroom
kindness, easy to reach every point of interest from the hotel no klima
Staff/internet/rooms/tv/bathroom set Far from metro
Quiet location as long as windows are closed bathroom very poor, very small bath and had to hold showerhead above myself.
Babys bed in our room was totally appreciated. Thank you very much for this. No free Internet/wifi. Breakfast is overpriced but there is a bakery with tee right next to the entrance of the hotel where you can have a breakfast just for 3EUR
Near Olympia park ( 25 min walk to olympia halle) No fridge in room !
Very good breakfast and not so far from city center, 10 minutes by train
Only spent one night, but no complaints at all. Food market around the corner for last minute buys, a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance. Staff got us our cab to the airport in the morning - everything went fine. Very friendly staff, clean rooms.
The hotel was superbly located in relation to the city center and the Olympic park and was well served by the excellent public transportation system. The hotel staff were extremely polite and friendly and the hotel room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. I will definitely recommend the hotel to my friends and family.
Its location. It's very near the tram and bus station.
size of room
The location. The room. No lift available
The breakfast is great.
Breakfast. Very good in relation to other hotels we stayed in Europe. However, generally speaking staff were very hostile towards us. We were made to pay just as we arrived (at 1 a.m.!!!). We have tralled a lot in our lives and it is the first time we have had to pay in advance!! They should improve their pillows and covers. The pillows are horrible and the overs too small.
It was somewhat near Oktoberfest Its more of a hostel than a hotel despite how its advertised as separate.
There was one guy and one girl from the reception that were nice. The breakfest is good. There was one guy from the reception that was really stupid.
Location to Oktoberfest Distance from our friends, but that wasn't their fault. Everything else was booked up for Oktoberfest
good lacation, save money, room was widely and clean.
Simply equipped but clean room; good price/value ratio; town centre easily available by public transport (approx. 10 minutes; tram stop max. 100 m from the hotel entrance), good breakfast is worth the charged price (4 EUR / person) A little bit noisy - noise coming from outside (traffic) and inside hotel facilities - nevertheless it is typical for cheep hostel where mostly young people are accommodated.
The staff were able to direct you where you wanted to go, provided maps and where extremely patient, fluent english speaking
