The staff were extremely helpful the view of sunrise and sunset fab food good not superb and very close to the thermal cascades
Sebastian at the front desk is great! would have appreciate at least one picture hanging on the wall of my room....
The people there and the pool. The room was very nice and clean too. In about a year this place might be awesome, but for now it isn't ready. The restaurant runs only a very limited menu and the food is average set at an above average price. There is no internet. Overall they look they aren't really ready to open officially, but ready to pretend to be. The people there were very nice and friendly, but they can't make the bad things better only time can. Wasn't happy and we let them know it. They gave us no discount, but we didn't demand one either. They said we were, "very nice people".
Beautiful place on top of the hill overlooking Saturnia valley unfortunately the facilities quite small and overcroweded , great breakfast , the restaurant La Chianina Pescatrice the food is not the best , the service excellent !
Quit environnment. Personel at reception desk and cleaning service good and professional. Architectual building mistakes in room. Airco blows you cold air in the face. Smaal rooms. Amazing so bad not experienced waiters...But very friendly..
Beautiful location.. Opened in 2007 and landscaping works incomplete. Some noise from chain saw disturbed the first day. No bar or lounge and poolside drinks a bit of an effort.
this hotel is wonderful- it is a very expensive hotel- and your rate was almost too good- would have paid more but not its full price- great location
Fantastic hotel in wonderful location. Excellent menu for lunch & dinner. Weather was good so we didn't have time to take advantage of the spa facilites. Wish we could have stayed longer. Cheerful and attentive staff.
the location, the grounds, the staff, the breakfast
The hotel itself The wifi doesnt work in the room n the ac was not working either
Extremely friendly and helpful staff - very well equipped and comfortable room - excellent restaurant - amazing bargain
Charming family-run relais located in the heart of Tuscany. Ideal if you are looking for peace and quiet in the countryside. We arrived one day in advance and luckily they had a room for us. Since it's family-run they might sometimes find it difficult to accommodate guests requests especially last-minute requests or changes especially regarding the restaurant which you need to book in advance for.
Wonderfull stay in Toscana near Saturnia spa. Relaxing stay, brilliant food and friendly staff.
Relaxing and good None
The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly The standard double room shown at the photo, is far better than the one we have been given. Also the pool was empty although it was a pretty hot day, and all other hotels we've stayed at, during the same period, had their pools in full operation
Hotel's restaurant with nice employees and good food. Remote, quiet and beautiful location. Big Swimming-pool Hotel owners don't speak English at all and therefore are not very communicative. Restaurant employees make up for it. Overall a bit expensive though
Very relaxing, quiet, convenient for Saturnia spa, nice pool, nice room and reasonable price for the area. Unfortunately could only stay one night,so didn't get the chance to eat at the hotel.
The Hotel was situated well fro our drive from Rome to Livorno, has a great swimming pool, and room was big Hotel Staff do not speak English
I liked the beautiful and very romantic landscape, the silence, the big and clean rooms, the traditional furniture. I also liked the staff that was very friendly and relaxed. The atmosphere, espacially at the evening, when the moon started rising was brilliant. Also the food in the restaurant of the hotel is very good, but you have to be lovers of exquisite kitchen, which means small plates and quite expensive prices. You can visit a lot of very beautful small villages around, that will surprise you a lot while discovering them. The breakfast, although tasty, was extremly italian, which means instead of bacon and eggs and a nice bread, there was mainly very sweet cake. Something which is surely a bit difficult to adapt for guests from other countries. Indeed the hotel is about one hour driving from the sea.
Wonderful staff, comfortable facilities, good wine/food availability, beautiful surrounding country side Direction through the gates onto the property could be easier to find/follow
The Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rural setting makes for a relaxing and pleasant holiday
Eat, Walking, relax and city trip Restaurang was not open when we var there.
Villa Hotel Valle Del Marta Resort was pleasant and quiet. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was very good. Tarquinia is a charming medieval town and the hotel is very close to the center of Tarquinia. There were spectacular views of the land on one side and the sea on the other side from the top of the town.
Very friendly and helpful personnel. Clean and nice room. Only 1 hour drive from FCO airport. The menu in restaurant was limited and "ancient" style. I won't recommend lasagne to anyone. Check-in an chek-out could be more organized.
staff was very friendly. we stayed during winter and it had a very nice family atmosphere.
The hospitality offered in a beautiful rural setting. It provided a relaxing venue after a hectic tour. Set in a large working farm, this resort/spa has a lovely patio next to the swimming pool where you can relax an sip a glass of wine. They also offer cooking classes, mountain bikes and tours of the nearby Etruscan sites. The owners are hands on in the running of the hotel and are ready to accommdate any wish. I was not aware from the website that the resaurant was only opened during the season. The staff was able to a ccomdate us by driving us to Tarquinia for dinner and providing us with a huge amtipasto try.
This very new and modern facility is well located for visits to lovely places in the Latium region such as Tarquinia, Tuscania, Viterbo, Orvieto. It's easy to find, very clean, and pleasing to the eye in a colourful, geometric way. The breakfast is plentiful, varied and delicious. What a pleasant surprise to receive a bottle of wine as an arrival gift. The staff is very professional and helpful.
The hotel is well located and run efficiently. The area around the lake is worth the visit and very scenic. no
We liked the large comfortable room and the fresh Italian buffet breakfast. Also its proximity to Lago di Bolsena. It would have been good if there were cups and the means to make tea/coffee in the room. There was a hotplateand plenty of cupboards but nothing in them.
Welcome staff, very nice but unfortunately small spa facilities, modern style rooms, clean, easy parking, very comfortable location for travel and leisure, good restaurants around, hotel breakfast is good. not
The staff was extremely helpful. We were treated like family. The breakfast was a really nice touch as well.
Perfect location and excellent view from the terrace. The staff were very cordial and helpful. The breakfast was fine.
Great view over the town & countryside, clean large rooms, nice helpful staff, reasonably priced.. NO.
Good, tidy and nice hotel with great views from the window. Walking distance from the old town and restaurants. Normal Italian breakfast. Parking possibility in the yard or by the side of the street in front. Very helpful staff. no complaints
Very kind, helpful staff. They replaced a broken fan in the room and a burnt out light in the bathroom immediately. The breakfast was very good and more than adequate. The room was clean and met our expectations. The view from the room's terrace was stunning. Great value. Parking at the hotel was a bit tight.
The staff is very helpful and polite. Outstanding service. Family atmosphere. Beautiful view from the hotel over the old town. Free parking. They speak English. Big terrace. Got very nice present by check out - family made olive oil. Rooms were very hot - limited air conditioning - from 4 pm to 7 am only and weak cold air outflow.
hospitality, value for money, view, comfortable rooms
close to town, staff helpful, and good breakfast, good for one night stay a bit noisy with the main road
Very friendly, helpful and they seem happy to make your stay a pleasure No
practical location and friendly staff, large and comfortable room
delightful family hotel reliably run by the 3 sisters
Hotel is charmingly decorated and the room was good and so was breakfast. The hostess was welcoming and gave us excellent advice about walking into town. The only problem was that during the night, someone in the floor above walked about several time in the night in high heel shoes on tiled floor and this woke us up each time.
The most beautiful setting, helpful staff and wonderful food made this one of the best places we have ever stayed at in over 40 years
The wonderful view, specially at sunset. Very good breakfast even if leak of hot milk. the road to reach it is very bumpy. Walkings are not possible, paths do not exist. The room was made up but not cleaned. the sink stone is unusual. The attic in the violet room is not liveable and the steps to reach it are quite dangerous (no protection).
The location is very rural and at least 5k up a dirt track but well worth it once you reach the property. The views are amazing and the pool area fantastic and very relaxing. You can have evening meal at the propery which is home made and was the best food we had during our holiday, it is quite expensive at 30 euro each but does include wine, desert and coffee and I would certainly recommend it for your first night at least as it was a lovely experience. We loved this area of Tuscany and would return to this property given the opportunty.
An absolute gem: the hotel surroundings are absolutely magnificent, the hotel itself, a typical country house converted into eco hotel, is very comfortable. Spacious country-design room, delicious and abundant breakfast, great dinner based on home grown / locally produced / biological food at at the right price (eur 30 including Morelino wine). Even ready for gluten free menu (we requested before arrival). Convenient for visiting Pitigliano, Capalbio, Saturnia and Argentario. That's what we were looking for: a relaxing stay, a few days escape, a charming place
Rooms were big and comfortable, views were amazing shower didn't have a bracket to hold up the shower head, the entrance road could do with some improvements
Everything:room, service, surroundings.
The facility and management were excellent. A wonderful place. I highly recommend it to all. The food is also excellent. This place is in a gorgeous setting, close to quaint small towns, and very private. No.
We stayed at Quercia Rossa for a short honeymoon, and returned home very happy with our choice. The room we stayed in was excellent, with a stunning view of the Tuscan countryside. Careful attention to detail shows all over the place, from the well-kept lawn to the daily menu with the names of the guests attending dinner and antique furniture. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the nearby area. We hope to return! Although the food was good, plentiful and obviously made with care, the meals got a bit repetitive after a few days. The first evening was wonderful, however, so it's a very minor complaint.
Absolutely gorgeous views, authentic Tuscan style home and grounds, friendly and accomodating owners & staff. The food was excellent and locally obtained. None
The Hotel was a reasonable distance from the beach, 10min drive. Cleaned daily and all the facilities you need. For a 3 star I found it a very pleasant stay at a reasonable price
Good location, spacious if not slightly dated rooms, very comfy beds/cushions, helpful staff, fair breakfast Hotel in need of a lick of paint
Dining Room was clean, convenient and good. A/C on our children's room did not work well. We had to leave a 6 a.m. to get to the airport but they wouldn't discount the rate even though we couldn't eat the breakfast.
The location of the hotel is very nice near the centre of Tarquinia and on walking distance from the busterminal. The economy room had a nice size and was clean. A good choice for a stay in Tarquinia!
The staff were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was also above average with a better selection of food than many other hotels.
Well presented. A loverly view. An excellent breakfast, the fact the best of the five hotels we stayed at. Parking was secured. No
Cheap price. Clean sheets. These people are not very friendly. This hotel is very dated. we would not stay again and we aren't hard to please.
could sleep very old -- needs to be refreshed
Nothing! The hotel was very poorly furnished, carpet was very stained, patio full of bird droppings, no white wine, staff non existent, don't go.
It was well signposted and easy to find and room was clean The rooms were poorly decorated, very old and gloomy. The staff were reluctant to turn on the air conditioning and only left it on till midnight. It
