Standing 19 stories high and made of glass from bottom to top, SeaGlass Towers, an Ascend Hotel Collection Member, affords its guests breathtaking views of the miles of beach below. Floor to ceiling windows provide plenty of light to enjoy time with the family or just enough to enjoy the sunrise with your home-brewed cup of coffee. Begin each day with the sound of the ocean from your balcony. Spend afternoons by the oceanfront pool and evenings with the family cooking out at the onsite barbecue grills. With close proximity to all Myrtle Beach attractions, this resort leaves nothing to wish for.
The fact that is was on the beachfront, was great. And that the entire building was glass no matter where you were you always had an outside view of attractions and even the beach depening on your room location.
This is a 20 floor hotel with only 2 that's right 2 elevators, which means you will spend quite some time waiting to leave the hotel, It was crazy. Also could been a little more clean found childrens panties behind master bedroom door in neighbor's room, and my pantry was filled with food from previous guest the exp date on items were from 02/2010 yuck, the staff need to check the cabinets each time they clean and behind all doors. :(
I liked the view and location. I liked the easy access to the beach.
I did not like the elevators and the delays when trying to check out. It took over 30 minutes to get an elevator to get to the the lobby with all of our luggage. The indoor pool is entirely too small.
The rooms had a view out of this world, and the staff was great.
They could up grade their t.v. and get flat screens
Our room was very nice and the matress was more comfortable than we expected.
We did not have hot water for the first night and next morning that we were there.
The views were the best part. the elevators were a bit slow but for 20 floors I guess thats a norm. I loved that the rooms were seperated and the beds were not right beside each other. I loved it and willl stay there for many years to come
