The staff It was too expansive to the return that I received
Centrally located, car parking available, small single rooms but perfectly adaequate.
The room and the price
The weekend price was good, the breakfast excellent and the location was ideal for exploring the city. The beds did not proper mattresses and pillows were absolutely tiny.
The hotel is located very conveniently - just 150m from the railway station, on the main street. The staff is extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. Single rooms, though not big, are very comfortable. There was not much to see in Eskilstuna, apart from Kent's concert in Parken Zoo. The hotel needs some refurbishment, which they are doing now and promise to finish in autumn this year.
Nice hotel, good staff, which provided some basic services including baby bed and good breakfast. Car parking lot was somewhat tiny and troublesome to drive in. Not well suited for large cars. Air conditioning and refrigerator in standard room would have been nice for a 4-star hotel. Old-looking furniture.
clean hotel but very old bathroom from the 1960s rooms quiet smal
The staff! They were very, very polite and helpful!
The atmosphere of the room Lack of receiption/bar personall at late ours
Reasonable price by Swedish standards Hotel pretty basic, heavy cobwebs outside the door, also I arrived very late (midnight), the front door was locked and it took 20 minutes before I was let in. Only one girl was working and she had to do the bar and manage reception etc.
Location was very good. Part of the Munktell Museum complex. Room was a little dated and basic.
Calmness of venue; most staff were excellent, hotel was clean and comfortable. Rooms were kept very warm, though this is a not unusual with hotels and at least we could open the windows!
I liked the kind and professional staff, the comfortable beds and the breakfast buffet. I would like there to have been a double bed, not simply two single beds pushed together.
This is, in many ways, a most unusual hotel but very good. It's history, as the birthplace of Volvo BM, is important and the associated museum is good and quite busy. The food was of a high standard and the hotel's interest in keeping guests on the premises by offering a free evening buffet and free coffee/tea and snacks was unexpected and worked really well. This is a city hotel, even though a short way from the centre and a walk over the small weir and through the park is very satisfying.
It was a quaint and historical hotel with an excellent staff. Breakfast was great as was the location adjacent to the pond-river.
With spacious grounds, the lakeside setting, an excellent breakfast, and different room options, the hotel is very nice.
Hotel rooms in the main building with view to the lake do not have air conditioning and the large windows cannot be opened. So it was very hot in the room. There is no elevator. Bathroom of our room needed redecoration badly. Breakfast is served in the dark cellar of the castle but you have the opportunity to carry your food up on several steep steps into the garden yourself. Food at restaurant is of medium quality and does not justify the high price, service personel at restaurant was unfriendly. The park at the hotel was crowded with local people having their picnic and walking their dogs. Facilities, service and food are not of 4* level.
Nice surroundings, nice rooms, excellent service.
Really clean and stylish hotel. Very friendly personnel.
We appreciated the breakfasts; light dinners; and couretous staff.
Location is very good, just in front of the station entrance. And the room is so clean that I spent without shoes!
I liked to stay over at this hotel, it was clean, stuff was really helpfull. the room was clean and the bad comfortable, much closer to railway station than i though from web-side - right in front of it, really close to the center. I would not say - I did not like, but the only thing I would develop is breakfast - it was ok, nothing wrong with it at all, it would be nice to have some more to choose from.
