Pros: Fantastic room. Most welcoming hosts. Lovely dinner. Secure, off-street parking. Pre-dinner drinks served in room much appreciated. 5 hours from Calais, incl. stops.
Pros: A really great place to stay! The owners could not have been more hospitable - very helpful, interesting and even cooked dinner for us (we arrived too late for local restaurants). Highly recommended!
Pros: Very nice and helpful hosts. Highway is close but no noise to hear. Cosy building and rooms.
Pros: Well-appointed comfortable room. Kind and hospitable hosts.
Pros: Lovely, clean and comfortable room. We had a warm welcome, and enjoyed our stay.
Pros: Great place to stay - huge garden, spacious rooms, amazing hosts. Thank you!
Pros: We enjoyed a very warm family overnight stay with 2 separate rooms (it was advertized in Booking.com as a "Suite") and our private bathroom. As a no-charge extra, we were invited to have dinner with the familiy in the garden: wine, soft drinks, French cheese and artisan ice cream. So, we learned to know several members of the familiy and other guests. We were coming from Strassbourg and we were on the way to Paris, that is why this location was conveniently located on the route N4. The village itself does not have much to offer though.

Pros: Owners very friendly and helpful - directed us to a nearby restaurant for evening meal. Room was spacious and the building was full of French character and charm. Plentiful and varied breakfast - try the home cured charcuterie. Owner speaks sufficient English to hold a conversation and to be helpful - suggested a running route along the canal!
Cons: The hotel is in the middle of a very rural and quiet location. No problem to us as were passing through. Gondecourt le Chateau nearest small town about 6 km away for shop and restaurant.

Cons: Connection wifi
Pros: Very welcoming staff, the room was clean. We could stall our bicycles inside
Cons: The breakfast was very overpriced
Pros: Good breakfast, very clean facility, modern rooms, quiet, good shower, nice sheets.
Cons: A bit of a distance to the town centre and rather expensive. The desk clerk made an exception for us, but he made it clear that normally one needs to wait until 5:30pm to check in. That’s when the reception desk opens (except there is never anyone at that desk, you have to phone if you need to talk to someone). That seems a bit late to us.
When you stay at Hôtel Le Provençal in Euville, you'll be on a river and within a 5-minute drive of Commercy Castle. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Do not turn up late it will be closed although you can ring owner and gain access code. NOTHING to eat or drink in locality in the evening.

Cons: The room was a little small but perfectly formed, everything I needed was there
Pros: Clean and simple
Cons: A little isolated
Pros: It was good value for money and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: We found it hard to find and a sign on the road would have been helpful as it is at the back of some retail units.
Pros: Nothing in particular
Cons: Nothing in particular.
Pros: Value for money
Pros: A budget hotel at a very reasonable price. Everything you need for an overnight stop. Good value breakfast.
Cons: The online check in is good once you find out how to work it. We fumbled about a bit until we got our room door code. Hardly a major problem but we struggled initially and so did some other guests.
Pros: Cheap but clean.
Cons: Location on centre commercial is far from fancy.
Cons: Finding the hotel is difficult. Firstly, the address on my confirmation was different to the hotels actual address. When we fnally got the correct address, it was hard to fnd the hotel as the hotel is set back from the road. There should be a sign on the road pointing to the hotel.

Pros: We had apartment and bedroom. Bedroom Good bathroom facilities, big bed, nice view. Apartment Apartment had good facilities for cooking with a hob, pans, plates, microwave etc. Coffee machine but no kettle. There was a living room area and big dining area. Each bedroom had 3/4 beds but odd layout. Both had easy parking and near canal/train line to watch activity.
Cons: Bedroom Bedroom sheets and towels were old and well worn. No drink facilities in bedroom. Apartment One shower for apartment joint with toilet was passable but difficult.

Pros: Secure bike parking
Cons: Group of young men sat around playing cards or shouting and banging doors, playing football in the street til late, very off putting. Tired and dirty, worn carpet trip hazard on stairs. Bathroom with shower curtain in corner making wet room. Didn't bother with breakfast couldn't leave fast enough.
Pros: We were eventually given a disability room which was lovely thank you.
Cons: The staff could not speak English but the waitress at teatime was able to make us understand their menu thank you.
Pros: Nothing really
Cons: This is more like a hostel than a hotel. The decor is very poor, very threadbare carpets, musty smells, toilet in room not flushed or clean, food lying around in dining room. Unfortunately, we had already paid - but we did not stay as it was a very poor place.
Pros: It was possible to get breakfast at 06:30. This is essential for business travellers. The parking lot was close to the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable. Bathroom fulfils function.
Cons: At the first evening, there was no Soap and no glasses for toothbrushing in the room (was corrected by the following evening). A furniture to deposit the suitcase would be helpful. One of the Mirror Lights in bathroom was defective.
Pros: The room was large clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was riding a motor cycle and they allowed me the use of their secure garage. Although the town centre was a 15 minute walk it was well worth it. A very nice town. I cannot comment on the food at the hotel as I didn't eat there.
Cons: Accommodation was in an annexe just across the road but this is a minor issue only.
Pros: A simple but good hotel
Pros: Good breakfast. Large bath in the bathroom. Cheerful receptionist.
Cons: Felt a bit unsettled by the presence of several refugees or economic migrants who spent a lot of time lounging the hotel with little to do except use their mobile phones in the hallways and corridors. We weren't offered anything except the basic menu, when the Hotel's website suggested a wider choice.
Pros: Easy to find. Secure motorbike parking.
Cons: Sparse breakfast
Pros: We were led across the road to our room which was a surprise, but was excellent. The owner allowed me to park my motorcycle in their locked garage for the night which was great.great value for money.
Cons: Fortunately I can speak a little French but anybody who can't may struggle. staff speak no English, but so what this is real France.
Pros: The location to the center of town was brilliant, car parking onsite brilliant, the breakfast excellent with lovely fresh fruit and homemade jam. The owners were lovely, very helpful, they even gave us a bag of Mirabelle plums to take home with us.
Cons: Nothing ! Everything was just fine
