Pros: Everything! Perfect food service and setting
Cons: Quite and nice place to relax
Pros: Great winter escape. Dinner is good. The moment we visited it was snowing and the view from our room was perfect winter picture looking down a river through icicles. Also, staff called me 1 day before staying just for confirmation though, kindly introduced access options as it was heavily snowing. The fire place in front of the ryokan will work perfectly without snowing or raining, and looks good for all seasons.
Cons: You need to bring your shampoo and conditioner if you are picky on them. Didn't find any English translates.
Pros: The place is incredible, the onsens, the amability, the room, the views, the food... And they have events! I was able to attend mochitsuki. The place also has temporary expositions. When I was there they had a magnific pottery exhibition. I truly recomend this ryokan.

Pros: See good rooms and there is a quiet atmosphere with friendly staff who are happy to help you
Cons: Hard to reach by public transportation But they are kind enough to take you to the nearest station
Pros: A little bit hard to find but then ...Reception staff was genuinely friendly and helpful, room was large and excellent and the whole Ryokan including the bath was in beautiful shape. Anytime, really anytime again!!
Pros: The location - it's very scenic and beautiful; a jaw dropping magical picturesque place. The breakfast - delicious with superb quality and well thought preparation taking into consideration of my dietary requirements. The hospitality - arigato gozaimasu Masatoshi San, no words can describe my gratitude towards you. The 3 resident cats - wish that they were sociable enough for me to cuddle them!
Cons: The pipe water from the room sink was so chilly that it made my fingers frozen! The heater there didn't really work?
Pros: Everything! From it’s beautiful mountain setting to the attentive staff and delicious meals all wrap up in a traditional Japanese Ryokan/Onsen. You can even rent a sport car at this property
Pros: The room was basic but really comfortable! I enjoyed the private bath and free toast for breakfast. The cats were also very cute =)
Cons: The car park was only gravel so it was a bit rough
Pros: Everything was perfect in this price staff, cleanliness, beds, rooms everything.

Situated on a small hill that ovelooks a shopping arcade in central Daigo town, it is a guest house that you can use for various purposes.
Pros: The place had great style and very roomy compared to other guest houses I’ve stayed in. There were lots of showers and toilets available. Everything was clean. It was a bit of a walk from the station with luggage (and a slope) but still pretty close.
Cons: The place was very nice. The staff didn’t really give me any instructions besides here’s the shower, here’s the toilet, and here’s your room. I don’t what other facilities were offered there. But I was only staying for the night before catching an early train. So it was fine.
Pros: Comfy and quiet. Great service and extra friendly people.
Pros: Situated on a higher ground, the guest house overlook the beautiful river valley below. Meanding through a wide bank of greenery, with bridges runnubg cross and small town houses on one side. It offers an absolutely fantastic view. The large outdoor yard with tables and chairs is an ideal spot to relax and bathe oneself in the environment at night or in the morning. The house was nicely decorated with paintings and various art objects that make it pretty charming. Clean toilet and shower room and even a founctioning hot bath tub. The local radio broadcasting adds an audio enjoyment to the accomadation. I was totally delighted listening to an chic Friday evening music programme when I was enjoying the Granny's yummy dinner! The owner was very kind, too. He actually owns a cafe in town classified heritage. A must to visit. I will certainly come back to the guest house next time.
Pros: The area is very beautiful. Location is great as well. Toilets are clean, so are the bathrooms.
Cons: It's cozy on the surface but our stay wasn't comfortable overall - we were greeted by an old lady, she got us a wrong key to the room. After spending minutes trying to get it, we just entered the next room - the sheets are clean but the bed was not comfortable and the smell wasn't pleasant - the smell of old furniture and dust. The walls are dirty and the mosquito net didn't protect from mosquitoes. We also couldn't sleep because of someone snoring. Also mind that there are no towels and tooth brushes.
Pros: The host was exceptional! The scenery around as beautiful!
Pros: Very nice staff!!
Cons: The bed sheets were worn out. It’s kind of itchy. And there were no towels available..
