The room although tiny, was nicely designed, nice bed
Although property was on golf course, tiny room had no view of golf course, no upgrade was available-looked out on carport, parking in front of room not provided for paying guest, only "owners" - fitness center limited
As compared to many other locations in Napa in October, this resort met all of the needs - Fitness facility, plush bed, shower, suite. View of the golf course was great.
The finishes of the units are becoming quite aged. Many of the fixtures and furniture seemed drab. The air filters need to be changed more often as well.
Beautiful grounds. Feels safe.
Dirty towels.. No water bottles provided at all in room. Just very surprised at the quality for the cost of this experience. When you arrive you're impacted by the beauty of the mansion, and as soon as I walked into my cottage it felt like such a disappointment. If they just put more thought into the little details it would make a difference.
The room was humongous. Two bedroom two bath and large remodeled kitchen, looking out to gorgeous golf course. This hotel was the only hotel in Napa allowing a 1 night stay. Would stay here again, love the proximity to Highway 80 to go home. Very convenient and friendly, accommodating staff.
The buffet brunch was not that good. I would eat elsewhere for breakfast.
Great location with beautiful grounds. Convenient to downtown Napa, which is a neat town. Cocktails and an appetizer on the patio overlooking the golf course was perfect. Added bonus of a bagpiper playing at sunset from the golf course was unique and memorable.
The main building is beautiful, but the rooms are nothing special. They are separated from the main building, and need updating, particularly the exterior. Over $300 per night for an average room which didn't even have a decent view, but apparently that's not bad for a weekend night in Napa Valley.
The people who work at Silverado are excellent
I have stayed here several times over the years and room 728 was by far the worst I have ever had. Tiny, poor view, not updated. They should not rent this room again until it is brought out of the 1980s.
The grounds and facilities are excellent
Bell man left a bag in our car Room services dishes from the previous guest were on the patio bar/lounge service was lacking
I did not like our room. We were expecting a room like last time with more space and a fireplace and we were in a very small room with windows that did not close and a bathroom so small that you couldn't move. Very disappointed given that I had booked earlier and had already paid for the room.
There was an additional hidden fee when booked through kayak. This was not the resorts fault but kayaks
Comfortable bed and pillows Very quiet
Absolutely delightful. Everyone was helpful and friendly and the location beautiful. Can't wait to return.
Checking out on Sunday very slow but overall wonderful stay!
Great location. Valet staff was very friendly. Check-in was fast and easy. The grounds are pretty.
Room was not thoroughly cleaned. Very little toilet paper and Kleenex upon arrival and had to call to get more. Room was poorly insulated-could totally hear our neighbors conversations, when they entered their bathroom and turned on the fan, etc. Pool was freezing, pool chairs and tables were old and dated, no towels at the pool. This place was once and has the potential to be spectacular and worth what they are currently charging but right now it seems run down and like too many corners are being cut.
The property and location were fantastic. Also, the resort staff was really nice and always helpful during our stay. My wife and I had a very romantic and really fun weekend at the resort.
The main lobby mansion building is nice and has a charming quality to it. However, it appears that a modern update to the lobby and overall mansion building would be a welcome upgrade. Also, the hot tub in the main pool area is located next to the kids pool and was always filled with children. The resort construct another adults-only hot tub on the other side of the larger "adult" pool.
Staff was great!
They put us in what appeared to be a subdivided condo more than a mile from the actual resort, and then charged a $45 resort ammenaties fee!
The staff was fantastic - extremely friendly and helpful from the front desk to the cleaning crew. The grounds were spectacular and the location is perfect. Our suite was roomy and comfortable.
We had one of the small apartments overlooking the golf course. It was well-maintained and comfortable but a bit dated.
Great location in napa.
Some clumsy customer service. Locked out of room for 30 minutes because door was locked from inside. Communication was clunky getting it resolved. They need a new phone system so front desk isn't in the way of bellhop service. An operator could have redirected call to bellhop instead of waiting to route through front desk that was overloaded with incoming guests.
I didn't like the room not being a part of the hotel. Because I was traveling alone, I was concerned about my security. Normally, I would prefer this set up for couples or families.
The condos are spacious and comfortable. Many have golf course views.
The nicest restaurant is closed. The Grill is mediocre, like an old school golf club grill. Much of the resort feels dated. The housekeeping was terrible. Our room wasn't clean when we arrived.
We loved the new renovated room.
