6.3 Good
Pros: Unique location in a beautiful unspoiled part of Myanmar, with long beaches and little islands, friendly people, very few tourists and great seafood. Staff very helpful and friendly, but inexperienced and disorganized. The seafood is great and you can buy wine and spirits for a reasonable price.
Cons: The road there is very long, the last 6 hrs very poor, takes about 12 hrs in total from Yangon with public transport. The 10 bungalows (soon to be 13) are pretty ok, but there are no beds, just mattresses on the floor and nowhere to hang or put your stuff. No fans. The place is still under development as per November 2017.

Pros: Away from the normal tourism machine
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We’ve spend 6 days in one of the beachfront bungalows and had a wonderful time. YES - the way to get there is not the easiest one but worth the trouble more than double. The clean and comfortable wooden bungalow was located directly on the beach. Our private bathroom was made out of stones – nice natural look - and the interior was very functional. The ocean was amazing for swimming, tubing and also snorkelling there and I liked the beach shower in front of each bungalow. The beach and the private sun chairs were perfect for sun bathing – mostly it was too hot for this in the mid of April :) The restaurant had very good food -Western and Burmese style and also breakfast was very good. In the surrounding of G7 Plage you can find a lot of things to do. There is a pagoda on a little hill, a lot of different beaches, you can do fishing or snorkelling trips and there are a few villages with very friendly locals. We were this lucky to stay there during Thingyan (the Burmese New Year water festival) and have had one the “parties” for lifetime :-D We feel like blessed to be part of this family, water, spreading, dancing, funny, lovely, warm heart celebration, thank you. Hope to get the chance to come again to the paradise G7 Plage at Gaw Yan Gyi. Greetings Flo & Ina
7.9 Good
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere and garden with sun beds, bungalows are spacious and comfortable. Snorkelling gear that you can borrow (although the snorkelling isn't that impressive). Beach was alright. Brownie at the restaurant is pretty good. The peninsula doesn't fully give you a castaway feeling as it is becoming popular with local tourists and it was nice to interact with them.
Cons: We felt a bit mislead by the term sea view bungalows they are 150 meters away from the sea, a better term would be garden view. Only the tents really have a sea view. Take an towel with you, the one provided is a hammam cloth which doesn't absorb water that well so we used this as a beach towel. It was all just a bit pricey, food/transport/accommodation. Recommend to walk out to other restaurants as well for meals.

4.6 Okay
Pros: Quality furniture, spacious
Cons: Staffs, foods
4.2 Okay
Pros: Swimming pools are nice and clean.
Cons: The hotel doesn't offer full time Air Conditioning in the rooms. Air Conditioning systems in our room and also our children's room were not working properly (during the limited time the hotel had offered) even though we informed the staffs and management. Breakfast was awful. The hotel allows horse riding (rental service) on the beach in front of the hotel and it was littered with dung.
6.7 Good
Pros: All the food we ordered at the restaurant was nice.
Cons: Although the staff are friendly, they are not properly trained and therefore service is so poor for the price we paid. Eg we both ordered a soup and main meal, I had finished both courses before my husband even had his soup! Breakfast time is a slightly chaotic affair as the room isn’t laid out particularly well. One end of the site adjoins the public beach so it is very noisy. We have stayed at a different resort twice previously, and thought we’d have a change, but we wouldn’t come back here
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location and landscaping was nice. Breakfast was pretty good.
Cons: It would be much better if AC worked 24 hours. The rooms need to be cleaner because the floor of our room was greasy and sticky. We booked and confirmed a king bed online but they only provided twin beds instead.
6.7 Good
Pros: There were Responsibled staffs including security guard who was in fifties. He was honest and caring.
Cons: The bathroom door could not be locked as well as the slide door at the porch facing the beach could not be locked from outside. The air conditioning wasn’t cool enough. The room temperature wasn’t stable at which making us uncomfortable rest or sleep within night time. Keeping the outdoor around rooms and hotel property total darkness at night was very insecure and creepy. Reckless people dropping litter everywhere on the beach in front of hotel and some mocking at holiday makers gave us lots of annoyance and insecurity.
