Pros: Very nice home, very nice people with whom you feel at home. A lot of explanations about what to do around there. Nice cuisine even if sometimes a bit too rich.
Cons: A bit difficult to speak with when flamish people are there too as few people switch into another language regularly not realy including you in the group.
Pros: That we had a fair bed to try to catch a nights sleep.
Cons: If the owners were not in the mode of wanting to sell the property surely all aspects would have better looked into. Dinner quantity was more than sufficient, the quality on the other hand deficient. Bread in France is a love affair, by serving Multi Grain Loaf bread in the bread basket at diner, says it all. Besides no choice was offered for the dinner. Kitchen could not even change a kids menu to white rice with tomato sauce or pasta instead of the set menu of burger and frozen fries. The lady of the house is not the hospitable type, neither child friendly. We can understand that the timing may not have been the best for personal reasons for the owners, but we are guests. Easy to get bitten, look out for wasps and mosquitos.
Pros: Owners really nice, couldnt do enough for us. Their home cooked food delicious, as were my breakfast croissants. Everybody, staff and other guests reslky made us feel at home. Best guest house we have ever stayed in!
Pros: The service was 5*. The host was very accommodating, The in house restaurant was superb! Would definitely come back here and recommend it to friends!
Pros: Amazing friendly family and fab pains au chocolat!

Pros: The jam was exquisite. All food superb. Restaurant meal amazing. Comfortable bed with cotton sheets.
Pros: The auberge is in peaceful countryside. The accommodation was clean and spacious with a distinct french feel and outside seating area. The evening meal cooked by Jean Claude was delicious and accompanied by a local wine. Both he and his wife went out of their way to make us welcome. An added bonus was meeting interesting fellow guests.
Pros: The day after the booking, Grete, the lady owner, maild me to ASK of we were interested to dine in the restaurant, the evening we arrived. I confirmeer that we would dine that evening with 4. Once there, we learned that the co-owner is a very well respected Belgian chef. We asked for the gourmet menu but only with the local perigord goodies. The diner was excuisit and very reasonably priced. We are surely coming back.
Cons: The rooms could have a little upgrade, but considering the price and the cleanness, OK
Pros: Dinner was truly fantastic
Pros: The whole experience was amazing. The auberge was quite old, but well maintained. The chef was outstanding. An award winning chef from Belgium in his younger days. Whilst there was no choice on the menu, a fixed meal, the quality of the food was excellent. When I said I was intolerant to any form of vinegar, they coped very well. When I did not eat the figs in the main meal, they changed the desert for the following night. I have been for meals in England where they have given me pickled vegetables, so I could not eat the main course as the juice have run into the other food. The meals were changed each day, chosen from the food fresh at the local market that day. Wonderful.
Pros: The friendly welcome from Grete and her helpful knowledge of the area with suggestions of places to visit. She even telephoned the local farm to check that they would be there for us to buy walnut oil. We loved the divine meals that Jean Claude prepared for us. We were made to feel so special.

Pros: Very nice breakfast, very calm and so friendly owners.
Pros: Room is clean, with a really gorgeous big bathroom. Cute French-style design. Very friendly owner! Nice breakfast near fireplace which is just priceless in rainy foggy fall morning. Should be nice in summer time with a pool. Location is very convenient if you travel by car, the hotel is just 10-15 minutes drive from amazing Monpazier.
Pros: A most beautiful, peaceful and somewhat isolated location, amongst beautiful countryside, but near enough to many splendid villages and towns. The evening food was excellent and the breakfasts a delight. Homemade jams and yoghurts stand out in the memory. We stayed on some of the hottest days this summer so the accommodation was hot, but the excellent pool compensated. We, and the dog were made most welcome and enjoyed our stay enormously.
Cons: A small criticism. The accommodation would benefit from a fridge in the room rather than the shared one in the out building.
Pros: Lovely secluded setting. Quiet and peaceful wooded surroundings . Very clean and tidy with attention to details. English translated information booklet a nice touch. Breakfast with homemade produce.
Pros: Breakfast was great
Cons: I banged my head on the beams in the attic room several times, banged my head on beams when negotiating the narrow stairs. We were happy with the location when booking but were under the impression there was a restaurant on site. Obviously things have changed. The internet was nonexistent, the tv did not work. I felt the bathroom was poorly lite.

Located in Bergerac, Campanile Bergerac is within a 10-minute drive of Chateau de Monbazillac and Château Bélingard. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Buffalo grill across the road
Cons: Restaurant was not open for use, rooms a bit tired and smelling of cigarettes. Having stayed at the Nantes campanile it was under parr in comparison
Pros: Nothing really
Cons: Main problem was that there was some kind of major renovation taking place which disrupted everything. The renovation was certainly well overdue but it would have been a good idea to close the place whilst it was done. Also, the restaurant had a problem as the chef failed to turn up. As a consequence we only stayed one night although we had paid for two.
Pros: Easy to find and close to shops and the road out of Bergerac.
Cons: Asked for a ground floor room when booking. None available when we arrived. The bed was so hard I had no sleep and could not face spending the second night there. I stayed in a hotel in Sarlat on the second night returning to check out the following morning. The receptionist deducted the charge for our dog from the bill. This hotel takes basic to a new all time low level. Grim and unwelcoming. Badly needs updating and beds replacing.

Pros: Staff very welcoming nothing to much trouble. Hotel clean and comfy Close to town and station Breakfast excellent value
Cons: Difficult but hear every noise from room above - if they had wee - snoring etc
Pros: Clean and warm hotel. We appreciated a lot the fact that the bathroom was equipped with a bidet. There are free on street parking places.
Cons: The room and the bathroom were relatively small and the view from the window was deceiving. The breakfast was not included in the room price and it was relatively expensive.
Pros: The 2 ladies where very nice and helpful. The whole hotel was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely return. Thank you
Pros: All good - hotel is an older building but inside quite nicely renovated. Friendly outgoing host. Location all in walking distance to the old part of town with Restaurants, Shops, historic monuments

Pros: Perfect location
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: 700m from the train station and on a square around the corner from the main church. Walking distance to everything in this small town. Our room was at the back of the property so it was super quiet.
Cons: There was a bit of confusion when we left as to whether we had paid the City Tax (only €4.16). Luckily the receptionist we had paid it to turned up as otherwise we would have had to pay it again.

Pros: It was basic, brings a new meaning to "en Suite" with just a wicker fence separating you. But really, not a problem. Evening meal was good and filling. Staff very helpful, especially if you recognise the name Serge Blanco! I had spotted this bistro a few years ago when passing through and earmarked for a visit, it did not disappoint and I hope to return again.
Cons: Steep stairs, if disabled, (but Patron carried my bag up- First class.)

Cons: Not much
Pros: Such good value for money, super comfy bed and a cute little balcony overlooking the market place. Great location for exploring Bergerac....head for the old part of town though. Good heating too which was needed in November. Super helpful staff.
Cons: The hotel is closed between 12-3 so don’t bother trying to check in between those times!

Pros: Claire and his husband are very helpful giving us lot of good advices. They also tried to customize my breakfast as I don’t eat the cheese
Cons: It’s not something the host could control The weather was quite hot but couldn’t keep the windows open as there were mosquitos Didn’t sleep well due to this issue but overall the environment is nice
When you stay at Ludik for Rêveurs in Bergerac, you'll be near the airport and 6 minutes by car from Bergerac Maison des Vins. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby.
Pros: - Checkin time: the only hotel in bergerac area that allows late check-in time until midnight. All others are before 8 or 9 pm - Onsite free parking
Cons: - Bathroom : Maybe some renovation as bathroom is pretty run down - No bottle of water is provided in bedroom
Pros: Location was good especially for airport. Good standard hotel in quiet area and clean rooms . Restaurant right next door and a small pool outside. Plenty of parking and able to walk to Bergerac in 20 mins
Cons: The bed collapsed at 04:00am but it was easier to fix it than report it! The location is about as much on the edge of Bergerac as one could be. Overall the place felt ‘tired’.
Pros: Very comfortable and friendly staff
Cons: A little further from the centre of town than I expected but helpfully close to the airport.
Pros: Handy for the airport.
Cons: No tea or coffee facilities in the room.
Pros: Booked at last minute as we had been let down by another hotel. The reception staff were delightful and they managed to produce a meal for us on a night they do not normally serve food. Couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. The hotel does not pretend to be luxurious but I feel it represents excellent value for money and was comfortable, clean and warm on a very wet night! Numerous board games available to play in the hotel reception area. It was great to see local children and adults coming in out of the wet with the sole intention of playing a board game. It was only a five minute drive to the airport in the morning.
Cons: Nothing strikes me.
Pros: Great games
Cons: Green pool
Pros: The staff were lovely. The parking was free. We didn't use the pool because we arrived late after a long day of sightseeing. It was convenient for Bergerac and was good value for money. It was nice to have a bar on site, we planned our next day's travels over a glass of wine!

Pros: Food and wine were good
Cons: No air conditioning swimming pool winterised even though temps in high 20- 30 s. Carpets in room need a good clean as dose the lower part of the shower whole place needs a good tidy up.
Pros: Excellent location, nice rooms, very quiet, very good restaurant.
Cons: It was a pity that the swimming pool was closed when we arrived, even when it was 30 degrees. It should be open. The bathroom needed some restauration.
Pros: It was a good honest bed and breakfast in lovely surroundings. Took a meal in the restaurant which turned out to be superb.
Cons: We only stayed for one meal
Pros: Big car park and situation at edge of town is good Tasty good value breakfast with good coffee, crunchy croissants, cheese, jam and yogurt plus apple juice and pear puree Room with a bath no 12 was better. Plenty of space to unpack our things, lots of sockets
Cons: We thought the dessert prices were very high for ice creams etc As we stayed 4 nights the menu choices got boring Our first room was a bit cramped and we could not get shower to work
Pros: The food in the hotel restaurant was fantastic
Cons: If there was a bar area to sit and have drinks
Pros: veryrelaxing place , friendly owner .. great food and wines
Pros: Fantastic restaurant at the hotel. Great food and service.
Cons: The room is a little small.
Pros: - The restaurant is pretty good and de staff is friendly. The food is decent. - The bathroom was good quality and was clean!
Cons: - The staff was not very helpful/understanding. - I missed a public area like a bar or a living room to spent some time in the evening. If you visit after summer and you don't go out or if you come back earlier, you are forced to stay in your room which is quite dark, dated and not as cosy as we hoped for. - I think the hygiene can be done better. We found two spiders in the bed when we checked in

Pros: The room was as advertised, quite a comfy bed and a small balcony.
Cons: Terrible place. Arrives at the property was told I couldn't pay with cheque vacance. No free parking. And after arriving from the day out I find my room is not made up. No toilet paper, no towels, no shampoo. AVOID
Pros: Close to the old town,
Pros: Booked as a one-night layover and the room was fine for a short stay. The receptionist was helpful and overall the hotel is reasonable value for money. The room had airconditioning which was great and is situated opposite a public car park which turned into a Saturday market overnight!
Cons: The bathroom was a little "tired" with mold in places within the shower unit.
Pros: It was in an ideal situation to explore Bergerac however there was a market on the day of arrival and parking was difficult.

Cons: Nothing not to like
Pros: Lovely accommodation in a pretty location. The kids loved the pool, gardens and games room. The host was lovely and the breakfast was really good!
Pros: The ambience of the place was pleasing, it was about fifteen minute drive to the nearest town of Bergerac. One needs a car as there does not seem to be easy access to other forms of transport. Parking is readily available on the property. Marie Agnes is a most warm and welcoming hostess.

Pros: The Hotel was very charming and the surrounding view was amazing. The room was nice and clean, the host was very welcoming.
Cons: The continental breakfast was disappointing and over priced.
Pros: Spacious rooms
Cons: Entrance/reception could do with a good clean/freshen up
Pros: Comfortable and peaceful
Cons: It was very quiet sadly due to cancellations because of Covid 9! Also I tv or radio in the room!
Pros: Very restful, room great, staff helpful.
Cons: The price of the breakfast at 24 euro each was extortionate!
Pros: Beautiful facility with lovely pool and grounds. We had a suite which was well appointed and very comfortable. The dining room is particularly nice and in warm weather the terrace would be terrific.
Cons: The staff was not very accommodating. We arrived at 3:00 from a long journey and requested something to eat. We were told that there was nothing available but we could travel the 15 minutes to Bergerac and perhaps find aa open patisserie. With a restaurant on the premises, it was difficult to understand that there was absolutely no food available. I again explained that we were tired and hungry and asked if there was at least a cheese plate. Again, I was told “no”. I asked if there were some crackers and he said that he would look. We were given a small bowl of what would be described as bar nuts, crackers and 2 glasses of questionable wine. We ate one evening at the restaurant which is very attractive but the food was not good. Deliberate and visually appealing presentation but truly not tasteful. Staff was very formal and rigid. When we went to check out, no one was to be found. We won’t return.
Pros: Gorgeous grounds and wonderful vistas of the area. Excellent, innovative foods at dinner in the Restaurant.
Cons: The only drawback (and by no means a deal-breaker) is the narrow and challenging road that leads to the property. We could not imagine driving it after dark, but, happily, we didn't need to. Do arrive during daylight to dine and sleep there!
Pros: Friendly staff, comfy bed, nice restaurant.
Pros: The atmosphere: relaxed and welcoming
Pros: La Chartreuse was amazing. It shared a beautiful hilltop with row’s and rows of plum trees. The house was phenomenal, the pool was sparkling, but the best surprise was the restaurant. It was really elegant and the food was fantastic.
