Place was clean, simple and the man in the reception friendly. They have the cheapest tour to fly over the nazca lines that we could find. They allowed us to store our luggage and use their premises while we waited for the night bus.
We've noticed that one of our backpacks was moved and it looked weird to us, because it was a private room. Nothing was missing though.
The bed was comfy, check in easy, close to the pick up point of my bus. Big room. They are very nice because when I asked when the check out was he said to take it easy and take my time. I am sure if they work on it it will be better
They don't give you a key to enter the property, so you have to ring the bell to get in and also to get out. There is always someone so it shouldn't be a problem but maybe it could be nice to have a bit of independence. The room was big but very hot. There is not a proper window. The only "window" is actually a gate to the courtyard, which you may not feel comfortable in opening, especially during the night. And it could get really hot in the room. Also the pillows are a bit old and out of shape. Also, at the top of the wall near the ceiling there is a glass that actually connects with the toilet of the room next door. So if they go to the toilet you hear everything and see the light go on etc. ( I did hear all of them having shower) I am giving my personal opinion here, someone may like the gate in the room and find those pillows comfy.
Clean and simple room. Hot shower. Walk-in 5 min from bus terminal.
Ernesto and Vianne are very good hosts, kind and very helpful. They cooperate with travel agencies so touring in Nazca can be left on their hands. There is a parking place at the front yard of the house which is covered with a fabric but the vehicles can be seen from the street. Overall it was a good value for money.
The room where I stayed had no windows but a big iron/glass door leading to the garden. That means that whenever I wanted fresh air there was no or little privacy. The bathroom had neither window nor a ventilator so there was no real ventilation. The shower curtain was smaller that the shower place so the water was pouring to the entire bathroom and as there was no drainage the place was becoming a mess. There were no hangers neither cupboard in the room to hang jackets etc. There were many hangers in the bathroom despite I was given only one towel. So, I had to hang my moto jacket in the bathroom. There was no real furniture in the room except a racks which was not adequate so, I had to keep most of my stuff in the bags. The house is old but well maintained. Nevertheless, some parts, like the bathroom, need renovation. The walls are paper thin. I was lucky that two out of three nights I had no neighbours but the third night I could hear people talking or flashing the toilet like they were in my room.
We immediately felt home. Ernesto gave us advice on where to eat, connected well with us and the kids. It was very quiet and this is definitly the place I ll go back with family. We left only at 2pm the next day, could keep the room without extra charges, very very nice! 2 blocks from the main street. Well if you look for clean, simple, family friendly, budget facility, this is the place to stay in Nazca!
The facility was very simple, which can be expected for the low price.
