Staff was very friendly and helpful Tiled flooring meant the if somene was out walking late at night the noise of their shoes on this tiled floor would disturd your sleep
I enjoyed the near beach, hotel's swiming pool and visited famous places of Crete. The person who worked at the reception had poor information about near places for visiting.
It was a nice hotel
The hotel was quite new and the rooms was really nice. The food was also really good and the service from the staff was excellent. The appartments in the annex was not quite as good as the rooms in the hotel and I would not rate them as 5 stars as the hotel is rated.
Restaurant staff were both helpful and knowledgeable with lots of information to improve our holiday experience, unfortunately thats where the "likes" stops - see below This is not a 5 star facility - it is at best a 3 star hotel and even that marred by poor quality food, especially the breakfast buffet. It is very clear that the hotel operate on a very limited budget and so the overall experience is one of expectations sadly trashed and frustration over how much better it could be
we stayed there for a couple of nights. The room (suit) was relaxing and big.We loved the design and the bottle of white wine with a bowl of fruits and tiny roses that were in it as a welcome. The only problem we faced was the noise despite the fact that there were not many guests in the hotel. we definitely recommend this hotel because of the price to facilities ratio!!! There are not many things to correct in this Hotel..It combines luxury with economical price. I think the only reason not to choose this hotel is the location, because it's in the middle of a village, where is difficult to approach. But still is close to famous destinations as Elounda and the town of Agios Nikolaos, so it is a very good choice to holiday there.
hotel is new, looks very modern, has spacious rooms and bathrooms breakfast were all days the same, we had to pay for the sejf in room and towels for the swimming pool, there was no iron
Quiet and beautiful hotel. Best for couples wanting some peace The food was not great
Restaurant staff was very kind and every time ready to help and the swimming pool water was cleaned and filtered all day long. First of all be carefull and do not book a standard apartment, these kind of apartments are in very poor condition and are not located in the hotel but in a building in front of it. The hotel has not any parking space as is specified in the advertising, there is a place for only few cars at 100 meters distance.
Could not find any faults. None
very loud til 4am, mosquitos, no screens
We really enjoyed our stay in one of the sea front apartments, which for the two of us was comfortable and roomy. Opening the living room windows and front door to see/hear the sea was great as was having a balcony to relax by the pool (which overlooks the sea). Only a few of the apartments were occupied during our stay and, being outside of the school holidays, there weren't any children, so it was quietwith almost exclusive use of the pool. The hotel owner was very helpful when we arrived and then basically left us to it but made sure we knew we could contact her at any time. The amenities were great with plenty of supermarkets and bars/tavernas (many right beside the sea) practically on our door step. No
location, value for money hotel staff
the location is good for quite nights, there is no good access to the beach ... but central to do sightseeing and not overwhelmed with package tourism ..
We stay at sea-front renovated aparments. Nice view from balcony! Apts was good equiped - technics, furniture, bathroom, plates and dishes, linen. In total complex of apartments is small so there was no crowd of people. Good placement in the center of Sisi - a lot of restaraunts&bars there. Small beach in the harbour near apts. Not good location for travelling without car because Sisi is located aside from main road with buses. You have to walk about 2 km until bus station.
We stayed 6 nights at the Porto Sissi's seaside appartment in front of the pool. We enjoyed these days in the tastefully furnished appartment with a gorgeous view, calmly situated but close to the centre of Sisi. The landlady Anthi was very friendly and competent in advicing on Crete's wonderful sites, hidden from the regular touristic tracks. We got to visit fish tavernas and mountain villages we otherwise would not have seen, we found wonderful beaches and mountain plateaus and we hope to come back soon.
It is very central, and all the available amenities are very close; sea, pool, shops. The staff are very helpful. No!
Facilities excellent and staff very friendly and helpful...thoughtful detailing we did not find elsewhere such as provision of iron & ironing board as well as hair dryer. Kitchen equipment included little useful touches like a cheese grater. Although simply furnished the apartment was spotlessly clean None
Very nice location and structure. Nice pools filled with sea water, excellent food, very very rich and well cooked and nicely presented. The majority of personnel were helpful. Also there were activities and events every night. Lovely hotel, suitable for families, nice location. The only thing that could be improved would be cleaning better the external hotel areas, such as corridors, yards and pools. The rooms were very clean inside. Also the level of noise should be moderated as some rooms were very close to the function areas. The hotel could expand the main restaurant area more as it has many guests.
The hotel itself was very pleasant. The buffet dinner, after the salads, was inedible. I emailed asking for location/directions and was not answered. That proved costly for the taxi. It should be made more clear where the hotel is and which port it is nearest to.
Quite place, not crowded No beach near the hotel
The hotel's staff was extremely polite and friendly. Everyone seemed to look for our convenience/service. The breakfast and dinner was really good value. Really good value for money hotel! It is a complete hotel complex in general. Change of the towels more often. The gym area was totally old fashioned and left, needs a renovation and more attention to be paid. Some of the furniture although good quality maybe need a renovation in future.
Great Hotel in very nice village on the northern coast of Crete. The overwhelming friendlyness of the staff, helpfullness and cleanliness made as wanting to come back next year. The new part of the hotel in the second building has definitely added luxury. A few meters to the east are some fantastic beaches and to rent a car or (better) a scooter is highly recomended. We found the car rental 'smile' appr. 100 m from the hotel best.
Good rooms and good food No beach, istead double bed there were two single beds splitted together
The most I like was friendly and helpful stuff, environment of hotel, food,...
pools, position, staff, breakfast, our room was good. Evening meals! Very bland luke-warm preheated food, after the first night we went out despite the fact that we had paid for half board
The room was spacious and overlooked the sea On one day our room was not cleaned, we had to ask twice for clean towels and as you can't flush toilet paper, leaving the bin 2 days was not acceptable.
I liked the food, the staff was very warm and helpfull. We found our room to small compared to the photos shown on your site. The hotel is situated in Sissi wich is not a "fun" resort but more of a quiet one.
The manager was sympathetic. Very loud and noisy place. Rooms facing the pool are unbearable because of the noise. Not recommended if you're looking for any peace and quiet. Dinner was not good.
We transfered to the new Castello Boutique hotel across the road and found the facilities to be excellent. The room was well appointed and spacious and it had a lovely view over the pool and local church. The staff were very helpful and very friendly-we could not fault the way that we were looked after. The meals-which we took in the old Castello Village hotel were very nice-only down side was that the restaurant was very busy and in retrospect we wished that we had opted to eat in the new hotel which looked much quieter. Nothing
