Pros: Quiet location, delightful and endlessly helpful hosts Ria and Edward, clean welcoming room and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast.
Cons: There is nothing that you can't like about this place.
Pros: Ed and Ria were probably the best hosts I have ever come across in my 48 years on this planet. Even though Ed had contacted me before hand about the option of eating there, I wasn't planning to but when I arrived the smell of cooking was irresistible so I agreed to 'sign up' for dinner. The meal that evening was nothing short of fabulous. It was out in their SuikerSchuur (Sugar Shed) which has one side completely open to their beautifully maintained gardens. The bread was freshly baked and everything was delicious. The house is old (19th Century) but is beautiful, extremely well maintained and is obviously well loved. I had the use of a kitchenette with a fridge and free coffee whenever I felt like it. Breakfast was an equally splendid affair again with the freshly baked bread, jams and fresh sourced locally. More than you could eat in one sitting. Ed was very flexible in terms of meal times, pulling dinner forward to 5pm to facilitate my evening activities and getting up at 6am to allow me to get off early. I can't say enough good things about this property or the lovely owners.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Pros: Friendly welcome, lovely location, comfortable beds, well equipped and amazing breakfast!
Cons: No double bed, just two single beds pushed together

Pros: Of all of our accommodations during our 24 day vacation, this was definitely our favourite! The property is beautiful. Old world charm with modern updates. The staff are phenomenal. They could not do enough for us. We were so impressed, we decided to stay 2 additional nights but they were fully booked. But the owners helped us find another hotel in a nearby location. When asked about laundromat facilities in the area, they arranged for staff to do our laundry! Not a service normally offered and it was extremely appreciated. We received hugs and kisses when leaving this hotel!
Pros: Good location, free parking (not to far from the hotel), breakfast is good enough to get your day started. Was one of the hottest day when we were there , luckily they had a fan we good use ;was not to powerful but better than nothing. Friendly staff.
Cons: The little flies are a bit annoying at the breakfast buffet. The way the shower is built you always have water on the floor, I assume not to nice for the cleaning people.

Pros: I loved staying here, and I am pleased that Rob is a very freindly host, there are animals in a paddock opposite which is also a pleasant walk to have in the morning after breakfast. rob gives all the information he can in english and is happy to answer any questions, Rob is a perfect host and was ready to be of assistance at any moment.
Cons: The room was a lovely big room but was a little dusty in places, especially the inside of the wardrobe but rob had clearly made the rest of the room livable and inviting. The outside of the property is a little run down and could do with a good tidy up as it looks off putting to potential customers, But my stay was great and I had no problems or issues at all, I would definitely stay here again!
Pros: We could use the bikes for free and it was a really great location to relax. The air is very fresh and clean. There are many opportunities to have a good time if you like nature (biking, hiking, walking, swimming). The host is very friendly and helpful. It's good to think of this experience.
With a stay at Herberg De Tramhalte in Roosteren, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Wijndomein Aldeneyck and Maaseik Shopping Center. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Spacious rooms and friendly staff
Cons: Loud music until late into the night.
Pros: Did what it needed to. lovely big room and bathroom and slept well
Pros: The room and bathroom were very clean
Cons: I had traveled all day and was tired, it was around 10 pm. I had to pick up the key at another location. The man at the front desk was not that friendly, busy with his phone. The location itself was noisy, strange people hanging around, the front door not properly locked. As a woman travelling alone I didn't feel that comfortable there. I was very tired, wanted to sleep in a little bit (checkout time 10:30 am), but around 8:45 am the cleaning lady was knocking on the door, waking me up. I had to drive to the other location again to check out. This time the ladies at the front desk were very friendly. The room was clean but very outdated.
Pros: good location for the right price
Cons: softer bed
Pros: Very very comfortable bed, clean, very friendly staff.
Cons: Outdated furniture..... Very very small tv. A lot of slamming with the doors in the early morning. Breakfast NOT available on the premises. Need to walk 4/500 meters. This is not good and.... breakfast much too expensive for what you get!!
Pros: Nice room，spacious，clean. Thank you Peter，waiting for us，shopping a lot due to late check in. It is a good choice for somebody who want do some shopping. It takes just 18 minutes from the shopping center. And much cheaper than in Roermond.
Pros: Room is large - nothing fancy but comfortable bed and warm feeling to the building, old and stylish. Bathroom very large with nice tub/shower
Cons: no reading light by the bed, i prefer a bit firmer mattress
Pros: It was easy for me to be closer to the workshop I had to attend. I use the facillities to sleep and rest well. it was clean and peaceful.
Pros: The proximity to the A2 motorway is the only posotive comment I can make about this place.
Cons: Overpriced, may have been comfortable when it was last decorated in the early 1970's. Room was cold smelt damp, right next to a main road with heavy lorries passing. If you arrive after eight you have to go to the other side of the village to collect your key. Avoid a all costs.
Pros: We had the biggest room on the ground floor which had cute Dutch decoration. Not very often something like that happens to us!!!
Cons: The breakfast was not really special, although that the service was excellent.
Pros: the staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was well presented and comfortable
Pros: Very friendly, helpful and hard-working owners/staff. Good parking facilities.
Cons: Didn't like guests bringing dogs into breakfast room or people smoking in breakfast room!
Pros: friendly hotel staff, big comfortable room, excellent breakfast
Cons: the rooms are badly soundproofed, some of the other guests didn't care about it and made a lot of noise.
Pros: friendly staff
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff, large clean rooms, a very pleasant evening spent in the bar.
Pros: ease of informality
With a stay at Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant La Ville Blanche in Thorn, you'll be near the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Designer Outlet Roermond and Museum Land of Thorn. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location was nice, near the venue of a wedding we were attending.
Cons: Staff was not very hospitable, minor requests for help/service were turned down quite rudely. I felt treated more like a disobedient child rather than a welcome guest. The place is also very dated, e.g. in the bathrooms the tiles have been painted over and the paint is coming off. The breakfast was not great either, e.g. dried up scrambled eggs. Overal the price is high for the low level of service/hospitality you receive.
Pros: The location is good. Neighborhood was super nice and typical European style. Have bike to rent, nice restaurant and shops all walking distance. So are the bus stops and supermarket
Cons: Bed and pillow isn’t so comfortable
Pros: the hotel is charming and quaint, as is the town. my room under the roof had a lovely view of the church. the ladies helped me with directions for walking, and made sure I repeated the instructions correctly, so I would not make any mistakes. the breakfast was plentiful and the fruit salad was delicious, because the apples are so tasty. loved having a big choice of jams and spreads and especially the chocolate sprinkles to put on bread, it brought back memories of childhood treats.
Cons: the lady was very busy serving lunch in the cafe when I arrived, but she was all alone, so I had to wait quite a long time for her to have time to check me into my room. the map and descriptions of Thorn were only available in English
Pros: Its very nice and quiet. Place very beautiful.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Very narrow two-persons bed (only 1.20m wide), an old and scruffy bathroom, limited breakfast.
Pros: The location, staff and cafe are nice. Really liked to visit Thorn and surroundings. Although the facilities were not well maintained, it was clean.
Cons: Maintenance to the room and bathroom should have been done a few years ago. Paint is peeling from the walls etc. Gave the feeling of visiting a student house (which is usually better maintained). Not really up to the Fletcher standard we are used to.
