Cons: Nothing to complain about.
Pros: Close to down town. Quiet and the staff were excellent.
Pros: Bed and bedding are luxuriously comfortable, although a softer/ flatter pillow option would be nice. All staff, including those involved with preparing and serving the substantial breakfast were attentive and helpful. You could tell they took pride in what they were doing. My husband enjoyed the exercise equipment.

Pros: Great hosts, clean, quiet and comfortable. Awesome breakfast.
Cons: There is nothing bad to say about this place.
Pros: Mike and his family are very friendly and helpful. Room and facilities are fantastic. Delicious breakfast started our nice day which is bonus.
Pros: The location was perfect, the home tidy, and our host was very friendly. We loved having an ensuite bathroom to ourselves. Continental breakfast was very tasty, and coffee and juices were left out for us. I would definitely stay there again.
Cons: The bed was too soft for my liking, but that is a personal preference.
Pros: The pool, lovely room, great breakfast. Very relaxing, grear location. Will definitely book again! A gem in a beautiful town. It really is a haven!
Cons: There was nothing to dislike. Very beautiful, clean, great location.
Pros: The pool area, and the garden was so beautiful and peaceful. The owners Jean and Mike were the perfect hosts. Great breakfast,. Would definitely recommend this b&b to my friends & family.
Cons: Our robes were too small. Lol.
Set in Port Perry, 50 km from Newmarket, Bed and Breakfast at the Ranch offers a garden and free WiFi. The accommodation features a spa bath. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels and DVD player are available in some units. A buffet breakfast is available every morning at the bed and breakfast. Bed and Breakfast at the Ranch offers a sun terrace. There is a shared lounge at this property and guests can go hiking and cycling nearby. Hampton is 26 km from the accommodation, while Pickering is 47 km away. The nearest airport is Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, 87 km from Bed and Breakfast at the Ranch.
Pros: Our host was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived after the check in time but she was fine about that and left the door open for us and a note about breakfast. Breakfast was good and we got to meet some of her horses.
Cons: Our room was a little bit noisy being adjacent to the road at the front of the property but on the second night we shut the window so it was quieter.
Pros: Owner was very friendly and lovely. Close to downtown. Wonderful full breakfast, very satisfying.
Cons: My fault but I didn’t check that I booked a room with share bath (2 rooms of 3, I believe). While my room (“Asian”) was cooled beautifully by a good A/C WINDOW system, it had overflowed onto the floor in the AM, though it didn’t affect me or my belongings directly.
Pros: Everything was great. Especially the breakfast.
Pros: Beautiful location, wonderful views from all windows of the house. Barbara was a great hostess! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Pros: Nice people, very helpful! We could feed the horses, dog and cat also very cute! Thank you!
Pros: Barb was just like family. Our room was cozy and relaxing. The beautiful rosy sunrise was lovely. Watch for Barb when she moves to PEI. She is a great hostess.
Pros: the hostess was wonderful, kind, welcoming, intelligent, skilled, and one of a kind creative!
Pros: A really welcoming home
Cons: Front room was noisy from the main road
Cons: First of, Barbara was really nice person but what we've expected and what we've got in the ranch, were 2 different things. We actually cancelled our 3 day stay, without sleeping a single night and the reasons are: B&B is by the main road, with a lot of traffic, bathroom is shared with another room, which was a big deal breaker for us as we like to have it for ourselves and it was not mentioned anywhere before. Page says check in is at 12, we've arrived after 3pm and the room was not ready. We were told there's an AC but it doesn't work that well so we can use some additional fans. Again, AC for that temperature was really important for us...But the biggest thing was that the rooms were fully open (?!?) and cat walking around in and out.. Friend of mine is allergic to cats, and I would say this information would be really crucial to add for many people. It was nothing like we've expected... Even though we didn't stay for a single night, we were refunded for the second one only, and thinking of it, it was not our fault that most of the above was not mentioned.
Pros: Our stay was very enjoyable, the pancakes amazing and Barbara's knowledge, stories and vitality made our time there so much better.
Cons: My only recommendation would be to add some juice with the fantastic and plenty breakfast.
With a stay at Kent Inn in Kawartha Lakes, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Lindsay Gallery and Academy Theatre. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The motel had a homey atmosphere. Liked the cleanliness and reasonable price.
Cons: The air conditioner could not be adjusted. It was too cold so used the fan only.
Cons: The walls were thin, and I could hear ppl walking around and making noise.
Pros: Bed was very comfortable. The unit was clean and pleasant to be in.
Cons: wish room was a little bigger and shower strength a little stronger
Pros: Location was perfect for our purposes...this visit to Lindsay was for a hospital treatment which was located just around the corner from the Inn. The beds were so comfortable & a good night's rest was really important for this visit
Pros: The room was very comfortable, clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Pros: the location and the friendliness of the owners
Pros: Room was very simple and clean. Bed was comfortable
Cons: Toilet is a tight fit in the bathroom tucked behind the sink. Bed frame clunked each time we got in and out of bed. Fan on air conditioner is loud but at least constant.
Pros: Exactly as described, an inexpensive motel with no surprises, really friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms.
Pros: Comfortable, clean and convenient. Basic amenities but worth the stay. Would return again.
Cons: Rooms are not very sound proof, noises carry and can be heard above and beside.
Pros: It was an amazing experience! A break in such a garden of Eden! Wat a wonderful hostess she thought of everything! We will definetely recommend it to eveyone!
Pros: Very clean, comfy and stylish. The lounging patio was perfect, breakfast was delicious and the bathroom floor is HEATED! Absolutely loved staying here, will definitely be back soon!
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like about the property or stay. I mean, no one likes mosquitos but they were manageable. Bring bug spray and just don't vacation by the water if you don't like bugs.
Pros: View of lake, basement apartment was very nice
Cons: Bed was a little small
Pros: Nice place, right on the lake. We had a very relaxing stay. Mira is a very pleasant host.
Cons: Beautiful site right on Lake Scugog surrounded by English style gardens. A very gracious host as well.
Pros: There was so much space, warm welcome, amazing breakfast, our hostess thought of everything!
Pros: This property is a hidden treasure. It is on a beautiful lot right on the lake. It’s relaxing and so comfortable.
Cons: The space was great. Brrakfast was amazing.
With a stay at Admiral Inn & Conference Centre in Kawartha Lakes, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Lindsay Square Mall and Lindsay 500 Go Karts. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location to our venue. Restaurant attached had a great steak and frites Thursday special!
Cons: Hotel seems a bit dated, but otherwise, did its purpose for our very short stay. Bed seemed abit downhill at the head area.
Pros: The location was fine, as it was close to Lindsay and amentities.
Cons: The room smelled like cigarette smoke and the ceiling was full of water stains. The hallway carpet smelled very damp and painter's equipment was left at the entrance to step over.
Pros: Breakfast was garbage and no fresh items.
Cons: We found lots of insets inside washroom and bedroom. The bedsheet and mattress were not clean and the room was full of bad smell. Breakfast was garbage. Not worth for money.
Pros: Close to Lindsay. Very quiet during our stay. Check-in staff was pleasant and explained the need for a driver's license. Continental breakfast provided the basics, instant hot cereal, cold cereal, toast, bagels, tea and coffee, and areas in the main lobby to sit and enjoy it.
Cons: Bathroom door was warped and did not easily close. Also, in a day where we are being warned to guard our personal information the Admiral Inn demands a driver's license, information from which they put into their computer. This is the first time we have been asked for that information. Most places only require year, make, model, and license number of vehicle. Photo ID is only required for verification, but information is not taken from it.
Cons: It was the strangest stay I've ever had in any hotel. From the staff trying to avoid making eye contact, to the flat sheets on the bed being used as a duvet cover, to the bread and bagels being set out on a table still in their bags. It was bare minimum service at best.
Cons: payment went through, front desk didn't get it for almost an hour and finally found it went to the hotel by fax. We have to wait over counter about 45 mins. Of course, key pass doesn't work and ended up with have to switch to another room. Breakfast quality poor.
Pros: The check in staff was exceptionally accommodating and friendly
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: did not do breakfast
Cons: No coffee in room
Pros: Clean confortable
Cons: No movie channels or rental options. No pool or upgraded jacuzzi tub rooms. More suited for business than pleasure
Pros: The continental breakfast was adequate. The location was excellent.

With a stay at Knights Inn Lindsay in Kawartha Lakes, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Lindsay Golf and Country Club and Lindsay Little Theatre. Featured amenities include a computer station and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room is clean.
Cons: Room needs more light. The aircon is loud and not cold enough.
Pros: Room was comfortable, quiet, and fairly clean. Decor was restful. There was a desk chair and sofa to sit on, along with a small fridge, coffeemaker, and microwave.
Cons: Tub looked a little grungy. I feel the price was high for a basic room, but all Lindsay motel prices seem high.
Pros: The location is perfect just a few miles south of Lindsay Ont. on the main highway. I have stayed here on numerous visits to the area and have never been disappointed. They have a good breakfast of cereals, juice , toast, muffins, bagels, etc. Rooms are A-1, clean, neat. I will return again and would recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Clean, comfortable beds
Cons: A dated facility
Pros: The pictures on the internet were inviting. The staff rectified the problems fairly quickly. A/C worked well.
Cons: Dirty pillow cases, bedding and towels. Light not working. Door jam had been broken.
Cons: can't smoke
Pros: Not a whole lot
Cons: Bugs on window sills, cleaning the bath tub for kids to bathe, dirty stained blankets, cracks on walls, dusty, stained towels, mold smell, over all absolutely disgusting room. $10/kid over 15 and $10/dog wth! So one night in this dump cost $226 ridiculous!
Pros: Nothing very bad motel experience
Cons: Nothing but location
Cons: The fridge was not plugged in or cold The air conditioning unit didn’t work in our room
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful; quiet for being on a major thoroughfare., shabby but clean.
Cons: Definitely not worth $--- a night. TV didn't work upon arrival; room ridiculously dark; some guy doing auto body work in parking lot 11:30pm; breakfast included sugary cereal, white bread,Sunny D & donuts (I opted for an apple with rancid peanut butter
Pros: Bed was very comfortable and room was fairly quiet. Coffee packets were replenished daily.
Cons: Asked for reading chairs, got cushioned dining chairs instead. No lighting at desk. Minimal cleaning done during our 3 day stay (bed made and trash emptied but tub left untouched).

Pros: Very well located. Great staff. It had a garden to sit out and a barbecue
Cons: It is not modern but it was fine for our purposes and clean
Pros: The bed was comfortable. The room was clean.
Cons: It was tired! Doing some kind of renovation in lobby area which smelled musty.
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable stay
Cons: The toilet roller was missing
Pros: Good location near major routes. Breakfast was fine with fair selection. Eggs were the only protein choice so cold meat and cheese would make it better for those who can't eat breads and pastries. Coffee was very good.
Cons: The entrance way and hallway by the checkin counter were disgusting. The outside area was littered in cigarette butts and the doors and windows were disgustingly dirty. In the hallway there was a bucket to catch the water from the air conditioner and the dirty carpet was wet. In the front window by the breakfast area, the portable air con was attached with unsightly tape and the area around it was dirty. The guest room windows are very dirty and the the room needed upgrading. The bed appeared clean but not 'crisp' and the new bathroom and towels were clean. The fridge appeared clean. There were paper cups for coffee, which was good as I'm not sure how real cups would be washed. The air conditioner worked fine but there was a chemical that was blown out each time the fan came on. This made us cough so we had to turn it off and open the windows. There were several men at the picnic tables until after 1 am who made lots of noise and kept all 4 of us in two rooms awake.
Pros: Location was convenient
Cons: A little dated
Pros: The staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful!
Pros: Really amazing reception, we came in late and they were just as accommodating as any other time.
Cons: Run down room, only a double bed for the price. Air conditioner didn’t work well, and was so loud it kept us awake all night.
Cons: Cleanliness was barely adequate. Late in doing the rooms more staff are likely needed.
Pros: Staff was great
Cons: Place was a dump... way over priced
Pros: Room is very clean and included all the amenities we needed. The front desk staff and cleaning staff do an excellent job!
Cons: It might be due to the construction, but the driveway to the rooms are on the bumpy side and had quite a few sizeable puddles after the rain.
Cons: Communication and lack of professionalism and basic customer courtesy.
