Not really bad, but we wished the bassin for the trouts were not broken and we would have been able to eat trout for dinner. But the Zander was excellent!
Excellent view and location, fair price, rooms were clean, restaurant at the hotel with decent food. Hotel owner (man) was bit strange, no expression on his face and in a couple of cases not very nice. The beds were awful, matras was way to hard and splited up in two pieces, not comfortable to sleep.
Everything apart from the lack of an iron. I stayed here on business to spend a few days working at Roche who are a high profile company and to turn up with a creased suit and shirts wasnt quite ideal :) Yes - The fact that your site claimed there was only 1 room left and in fact this was not the case at all as the hotel was empty! Most of the hotel listed seemd to say the same. Considering I travelled 800km to get there its shame to see you are having to deceive people...
We stayed at the Hotel for two days and was fortunate to be the only guests in the Hotel. The location of the Hotel is excellent for visiting the region. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was a typical German breakfast :) Nothing
Really beautiful and peaceful surrounding. Clean and spacious room with unadvertised kitchen facilities. Limited availability of the staff. No info on using the Wi-Fi (I had to guess the password...), no minibar.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the views were great. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.
Excellent hotel in a beautiful setting. Very good breakfast. Pleasant staff. Our "Klosterblick" room (monastary view) was stunning. Though I reserved with AmEx and Booking.com said I could pay by AmEx, Visa, MC etc. in the end I had to argue to be able to pay with Visa. AmEx was not possible. They really expected me to pay over €300 in cash!
The hotel was spacious, clean and quite comfortable. We enjoyed a nice restaurant across the street and a walk around the Muenster. We were not given the room on our booking sheet (which we did not realize until check-out). We were charged 10-12 euros more and, because of our limited German language skills, we were unable to get the price advertised on our booking sheet. We are on a very limited budget, so this was very disappointing.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was very substantial, and the bedrooms were a delight. All in all a very good hotel in a delightful location.
excellent breakfast and meals, spacious room with balcony no air con and it was hot. nearby holiday camp for kids spoilt the quietness a lot.
Excellent family-fun, service and comfort orientated hotel. Food was of excellent quality. Members of staff had a clear interest in you enjoying your stay. The pool area is beautifully done out, along with a built-in jacuzzi and views of the forest. The rooms were cleaned every day. Not a dislike, but this hotel and the others in the area have a somewhat limited evening menu choice with an unsurprising bias towards meat and potato-based dishes, i.e. vegetarians would struggle. We should have also thought to have taken beach towels or towelling robes for use at the poolside. The equipment in the 'fitness room' was in bad repair. The pool is too small for swimming as exercise/laps.
Not Situated in Aitern, but near the cable car. Not comfortable beds and pillows. Wellness center use is priced at 8 euros per person/ per day according to the inn keeper (but not mentionned on booking.com). Service worthy of an inn but not of an 3 stars hotel.
