The hotel was perfectly located- close enough to enjoy any excitement wanted and once inside the hotel the action ceased to exist. The courtyard is secluded and beautiful. The room was wonderful. Each staff member we met was welcoming and knowledgeable, with perfect charm.
Pastries and coffee in the morning. Coke’s juice and water free all the time.
This was our first visit to New Orleans and picking this hotel was the best decision. My boyfriend and I had never been, so after some research I chose this hotel and couldn't have been happier! After our flight was delayed by 6 hours we arrived at the hotel around 1am and were greeted at the door outside. From the moment we got there until we left, every staff member was friendly and great to talk to. It does not feel like a typical hotel, it has a lot of character and charm (especially with the canopy beds and chandeliers). We had a balcony room overlooking toulouse street with bourbon street less than 100 feet away. Even with bourbon street so close it's very quiet inside the room. One random thing we really liked was how good the water pressure was in the shower. Also the fridge stocked with ice cold soda and water is an awesome little bonus. It's an awesome location right in the center of the French quarter! I will definitely be staying here again and again!!
The people, their availability and friendship.
I liked that it was close enough to walk to Bourbon Street but far enough that you didn’t hear all the party people.
There was not a coffee pot in your room.
